Chapter 55 - Chapter 10-4

Kamen Rider Gavv, now a fortress of massive, pink-and-white armor, stood immovable, a vibrant bulwark against the rampaging Magia. The Mammoth Magia roared, a deep, guttural sound that vibrated through the very ground. It slammed its colossal tusks against Gavv's candy-coated form.

THWUMPP

The impact barely registered as a shudder through the Gurucan armor.

Rogercop, its crimson armor glowing with cold, mechanical fury, fired a concentrated laser beam. The energy bolt struck Gavv's helmet. He simply tilted his head, letting the beam glance off his hardened shell. It left a faint, sweet-smelling scorch mark, a strange contrast to the violence. Gavv planted his feet, the ground cracking under the immense weight of his new form. He shoved forward, a slow, unstoppable force that pushed the Mammoth Magia back a full meter. The monster grunted, surprised by the unexpected strength.

The Gurucan Form was Gavv's ultimate defensive state, born from the essence of a hard candy. Its armor was incredibly dense and durable, capable of withstanding immense physical and energy-based attacks. However, this impressive defense came at the cost of speed and agility. The form's primary function was to act as a mobile fortress, absorbing and redirecting force rather than attempting to dodge it. Every heavy step he took made the courtyard tremble.

Ladybug and Cat Noir struggled to find an opening against the enhanced Rogercop and the imposing Mammoth Magia. Ladybug's yo-yo strikes bounced off the Magia's thick hide. Cat Noir's staff impacts barely registered against Rogercop's armored form.

"We need to split them up!" Ladybug called out, her voice clear despite the ongoing fight.

Gavv nodded, his helmet dipping. He understood the necessity. He reached for his Gavv organ, the blue lips parting expectantly. A Vrocan Gochizo, a round, swirled candy, zipped inside the Gavv organ. The organ began to chew with a rapid, grinding sound.

[VROCAN!]

A large, candy-pink and cyan gatling gun, the Vrocangatling, materialized in Gavv's massive hands. He braced his stance, his feet planted firmly on the cracked pavement. The heavy weapon hummed with contained energy, a low thrumming that resonated through his bulky armor.

"Get ready!" he bellowed, his voice muffled but determined through the Gurucan helmet.

He opened fire.

PEW-PEW-PEW

A barrage of hard, peppermint-style bullets erupted from the twin barrels. They swerved through the air, striking the Mammoth Magia and Rogercop. The impacts were like heavy, concussive blows, each hit echoing with a sugary THWACK. The villains staggered back, their formation breaking under the relentless assault. The barrage created the perfect, chaotic distraction.

The Vrocangatling's vibrant stream of candy-colored bullets hammered against the Mammoth Magia. The monster recoiled, raising its thick, armored forearms in a desperate attempt to shield itself from the rapid-fire onslaught. This action exposed the glowing, hacked device nestled on its back, a target Ladybug had immediately recognized.

"Now, Ladybug!" Gavv commanded, his voice deep within the Gurucan helmet. He ceased fire, the Vrocangatling cooling in his grasp.

Ladybug was already moving, her yo-yo spinning through the air.

"Lucky Charm!" she called out.

A flash of pink energy swirled, then condensed. It left behind a giant pair of bright red candy tongs, polka-dotted with black. Ladybug caught them with practiced ease, her eyes scanning the battlefield. Her gaze landed on Gavv's massive shoulder armor.

Gavv understood instantly. He gripped the edge of his bulky left shoulder plate and ripped it away. The Gurucan armor piece, now detached, felt surprisingly light in his hand, a round, pink disc with jagged white edges. He tossed it to Ladybug. She caught the armored shield mid-air.

She hurled the candy-coated shield like a discus, the oversized tongs clutched in her other hand. It spun through the air with a faint whoosh, a red-and-black blur. The shield struck the exposed hacked device on the Magia's back.

CRACK!

Sparks flew from the device, then it seized up, emitting a high-pitched whine that cut through the battle din. The Mammoth Magia stiffened, its movements becoming sluggish and uncontrolled.

Cat Noir, seeing Rogercop distracted by Gavv's earlier Gatling fire, seized his chance. He darted past Rogercop's faltering laser cuffs, a blur of black leather.

"Cataclysm!" he shouted.

His gloved hand glowed with destructive black energy. He brought it down firmly onto Rogercop's crimson chest plate.

SHATTER!

The armor exploded inward, revealing the glowing akumatized whistle embedded within. Rogercop screamed, a mechanical shriek of pure data corruption, and stumbled back. The Magia, now damaged and separated from its power source, let out a final, mournful whine as its strength ebbed away.

Gavv charged forward, his Gurucan form a juggernaut of pink and white. A golden aura flared around his right fist.

[GURUCAN FINISH!]

He delivered a powerful, straight punch directly into the Magia's exposed core. The impact was absolute, shattering the creature into a thousand sparkling fragments.

A dark butterfly fluttered into the air from the shattered police whistle, a stark contrast to the brilliant sunlight. Ladybug's yo-yo snapped open, a red and black blur, and she caught the butterfly with practiced ease.

"No more evil doing for you, little akuma," she said, her voice gentle yet firm.

A flash of pink light erupted from her yo-yo, purifying the dark energy. The butterfly transformed into a benign, glowing speck, drifting harmlessly into the clear Parisian sky.

Gavv's massive Gurucan armor shimmered. The heavy pink and white plates dissolved, piece by piece, like melting candy. The Vrocangatling in his hand dematerialized into sparkling motes of light. The sheer bulk of his form receded, leaving behind his sleek blue and magenta base suit. He looked at the dissipating data fragments of the Mammoth Magia, a faint hum beginning deep in his abdomen. His Gavv organ opened, a blue-lipped mouth on his stomach, and he took a deep, deliberate breath, inhaling the remains of the defeated Magia. A faint, satisfied rumble resonated within him. It was a strange, almost primal act, this consumption of an enemy, something uniquely Granute.

With the akuma purified, Ladybug tossed the candy tongs, a reminder of her Lucky Charm, and the broken police whistle into the air.

"Miraculous Ladybug!" she called out, her voice ringing with clear, confident power.

A massive swarm of red, polka-dotted ladybugs erupted from her yo-yo, swirling across the entire courtyard. The magical insects moved like a living wave, washing over the cracked pavement. The shattered ground knitted itself back together with a soft CRACKLE. The twisted, mangled lockers reformed seamlessly, their metallic surfaces gleaming as if new. Even the scorch marks left by Rogercop's lasers and the Magia's brute force vanished without a trace. The Bourgeois family's ruined clothes were restored to their pristine, expensive state. Only the quiet memory of the chaos remained.

Students slowly emerged from their hiding places, their faces a mixture of awe and bewilderment.

Ladybug wiped a stray bead of sweat from her masked brow, her chest rising and falling softly. "Well, that was certainly a cat-astrophe averted."

Cat Noir twirled his staff with a flourish, his green eyes gleaming. "You could say we purr-fectly handled it, My Lady."

Gavv stood between them, his blue and magenta armor still intact, though his shoulders slumped a little. "Were any students harmed?" he asked, his voice low, a quiet current of concern.

Ladybug shook her head gently. "No, Gavv, not really. Maybe a couple of scratches, but otherwise, none are harmed."

"Indeed," Cat Noir added, leaning on his staff. "All thanks to you, big guy, for that sweet defense."

"I see," Gavv replied, his gaze drifting over the perfectly restored courtyard. He felt a hollow ache deep inside. Vesper had sent the Magia directly to the school, to the place where Marinette and his friends were. The thought twisted in his gut. The villain had even empowered the akuma, making the danger so much greater. He felt responsible, a quiet weight settling on his shoulders. He was the reason this place, his new home, had been targeted. He knew he needed to leave.

Gavv turned abruptly, leaping away without a word. His armor blurred as he vanished over the rooftops. Ladybug and Cat Noir watched him go, a shared confusion passing between them.

"What was that all about?" Cat Noir wondered, his usual playful tone replaced by genuine puzzlement.

Ladybug frowned, her bluebell eyes thoughtful. "He seemed... sad. I wonder what's bothering him."
