Chapter 43: Phantom race.
Both immediately understood, Kazuka might be in danger.
Takeshi immediately ran toward the direction of the explosion. Airi also followed but she was on the tree branches.
After running for a while, in the distant sight, energy slashes were continuously unleashed and glowing. Contributing to helping Takeshi and Airi easily know the position more clearly. Airi was already on the ground running with Takeshi.
Takeshi asked Airi with suspicion:
"A battle occurred ahead?"
Airi nodded slightly, her eyes staring into the distance.
"Very likely, but the problem is monster or person?"
Takeshi immediately remembered he had met the purple-haired girl.
"Before meeting you, I met a person in this forest."
Airi with a look of surprise.
"Really? What did that person look like?"
"It was a girl with purple hair, quite young, seemed the same age as us."
Airi knitted her brows with suspicion.
"A girl? What's she doing in here?"
Takeshi: "She said she was the one who shot the arrow at us when we were outside the forest."
"And before meeting her I encountered a place she said was an altar."
"She even asked me if I let the hand in the middle of that altar absorb energy. Actually, before that, truly I had been absorbed of energy by it."
Airi grimaced with confusion, not understanding what Takeshi was telling.
"Huh? You tell it like that, how can I understand?"
Takeshi smiled awkwardly.

Airi: "It's Kazuka's voice."

Glancing over to the left, it was Kazuka, he was kneeling on the ground, one hand covering his eye which was bleeding. Takeshi roared when seeing his friend injured;
"Kazuka!"
He intended to run over but Airi reached out her hand and stopped him from running.
"Don't be in a hurry, at such a distance sensing the discomfort it brings. Surely it's not normal."
Returning to the time after the explosion.
The trees Kazuka's slash passed through immediately fell down.
BOOM!!!! BOOM!!!
The monster was unharmed and jumped over the trees falling on the ground and advanced toward Kazuka.
Kazuka into combat stance, energy radiating incessantly. He decided not to run anymore.
"You can die now."
"Your relatives are all dead, let go."

He had quickly stopped attacking, knowing he could not match strength with it.
The monster also had stopped spewing energy from its mouth, eyes glancing around.
Kazuka hid behind the leaves of the trees that had fallen far away, an energy spear was launched from behind the leaves. It headed straight to the monster.
VWOOM!!!
But it seemed the attack was off target. The monster seeing this just stood watching it fly past.
Kazuka had planned for the off-target step, there was a tiny energy string connected right behind that flying spear. When it flew past the monster standing there. Other energy spears suddenly sprouted where the monster was standing.
STAB!!!
They immediately stabbed into the monster's body, 6 spears stabbed into its side, it growled once in pain. Black blood flowed from the wound caused by Kazuka, and fell to the ground.
In that attack, Kazuka had used additional jamming energy to be sure and create an opportunity for himself to attack it.
Rustling sounds rang out. He immediately bolted out from where he just hid and launched toward the monster.
It was also quite smart, energy from inside it immediately erupted, surrounding the entire body extremely thick. Causing leaves and dust to fly up in many directions, the wound was gradually being healed.
Its chest again glowed, as if waiting for him to charge and suck his soul. Knowing that, he was charging and immediately stopped and observed it.
Suddenly it disappeared from his sight.
"What? Disappeared."
He spun around observing and alert.
"Where is it? This damn forest is too dark, hard to see. It seems dawn is coming, so the light from the white mặt trăng makes the shadows of these trees too long."
Sensing the coldness, it immediately appeared behind his back. Its chest again glowed, wanting to suck his soul.
But he didn't allow it to do that, his body glowed even more.

An energy explosion caused by Kazuka. The monster backed up, he jumped out of the smoke from the opposite direction to the monster.
Being in mid-air, where it's very hard to handle situations. The monster once again appeared behind him. It seemed, it felt a waste of time sucking Kazuka's soul, so it decided to attack.
A swipe with the leg like a human hand with sharp claws was swung. His eyes opened wide with shock, pupils dilated, mouth spewed blood, body had to arch forward when taking the force.
He flew down to the ground and rolled several times. Energy was trying to cover his wound and heal it. While flying down to the ground by the attack, Kazuka had very quickly reacted in time and stopped the bleeding right then.
He propped his hands up and kneeled on the ground. Mouth spewed a mouthful of blood on the ground.
"Aaa."
"I have too many openings, must be more careful."
But it didn't let him breathe that easily yet. It closed in on him and opened its mouth wide, those teeth again wanted to bite him once more. But he had reacted in time, rolled several times on the ground then far away, then somersaulted continuously and kept distance from the monster.

An energy slash swung from the bottom up, the ground was divided into two, churning everything up.
The monster running over immediately dodged to the right. But he had planned that. Right after unleashing the first slash, he had unleashed two other vertical slashes on both sides and waited for it to jump in any direction.
Thinking for sure one of these slashes would hit, but its eyes opened wide. His energy again showed signs of instability.
"What's the point of resisting it? Dying will be liberation."
But suddenly all three slashes exploded.
"This time it's right next to the explosion, don't know if it can avoid it?"

He had jumped far away and was unharmed. Smoke and dust again dissipated the monster with a series of scratches on its body. There were places, the black fur had been blown away and caused it to reveal the flesh.
"Truly? even so not a scratch."
Suddenly, the right hand automatically dismissed energy making him confused and looked down at his hand. His right hand immediately launched fast and grabbed his own neck and strangled.
Shocked at what happened, he fell to the ground rolling. Left hand incessantly stopping the right hand.

Being strangled made him in pain and struggling on the ground. The monster immediately walked close to him, a mocking smile appeared. Eyes narrowed like the mouth, mouth bloomed a large smile. In that nighttime scene, it was truly horrific.
"Caught you."
Being near the monster, his energy became even more disordered.
"My energy... so that's it, that's the reason then my hand automatically lost control?, being near it then will be so!"
Its chest glowed, his soul once more was threatened, he tried to crawl up in difficulty, despite the right hand tightening his neck harder, he only tried to exert strength, to avoid being strangled to death. He brought his left hand straight toward the hole on the monster's chest. Like a gamble when coming to the threshold of death.
"Will this hole lead to its heart?"
The monster as if ticklish, it seemed that was its weak point, immediately backed up to the rear. Though having no energy and having to endure tiredness, but his physical strength was very good. He charged and launched a punch toward the monster. It dodged to one side, its tail with those bizarre hands immediately circled up above and attacked him. A hand with sharp fingernails immediately stabbed into his eye.

"Aaaaaaaa!"
He screamed loudly before the pain, blood from the eye flowed incessantly, his left hand covered one eye, trying to stop the blood from flowing while energy was being disordered.
Although energy was disordered, he still tried to launch a punch, energy from the punch flew out, the monster was surprised and jumped back far away.
Energy being disordered does not mean it cannot be used, but only very difficult. Especially the attack being struck out, could be off target or suddenly disappear into the void and cannot be controlled.

At this time the two people Takeshi and Airi had also arrived. Takeshi ignored Airi's words and rushed to Kazuka's place, Airi was surprised because Takeshi did that. But no other way, she had to run after, but her eyes still pointed toward the monster on the other side.
Takeshi ran to Kazuka's place and supported him up, then brushed the hand covering Kazuka's eye away, he was shocked when seeing Kazuka's eye was bleeding, and could clearly see the wound.
Airi didn't ask after Kazuka, she summoned blood chains and entered defensive stance, eyes not leaving the monster.
"How is he Takeshi?"
Takeshi: "His eye was poked by something."
"Hey, no recovery Kazuka?"
Takeshi knitted his brows when sensing Kazuka's energy was slightly not right.
"His energy is being disordered?"
Kazuka with a voice slightly tired, was trying to endure the pain. Trying to give a warning.
"Careful."
Airi stood observing the monster standing still in front for a while. She knitted her brows when sensing her own energy…
"Huh? My energy is being disordered?"
She immediately panicked and shouted:
"Takeshi, quickly take Kazuka as far away as possible. It seems this monster is the cause making him disordered in energy."
Takeshi nodded and carried Kazuka on his shoulder.
"Understood."
Takeshi carried Kazuka running far away.
"Remember to be careful."
Running far away, Takeshi placed Kazuka down on the ground, brought his hand out with energy surrounded and pressed to Kazuka's eye.
"You only need to recover inside, I will help you recover the eye."
Returning to Airi's side. She still stood silently there and observed the monster.

The monster quite looked down on the opponent, it often didn't surround its body with energy. This is a weak point, and earlier if it had surrounded its body with energy, it wouldn't have been burnt when in contact with Airi's blood chains.
A low voice rang out, it was cold and carried an air of gloom to terrifying levels.

Airi standing there was also surprised.

From far away, a girl immediately jumped down from a tree branch high up. That was the girl Takeshi had met previously.
Airi strained her eyes looking far away.
"A girl? Could it be the girl Takeshi told me about. She uses a bow."
That girl immediately shouted toward the demon.
"You monster, you need to be destroyed today."
At this time the sky also had shifted color. Sunlight began to shine down. Where they fought was where Kazuka had slashed away a series of trees. This caused light to shine into that void.
"Daylight has come. How could low-level demons dare under daylight? Surely it's not ordinary."
The girl far away with hostile eyes. Reached her hand back and drew an arrow from the quiver behind her back. She placed it on the bow which had exquisite patterns.

The demon immediately launched, and disappeared from both their sights. The girl immediately released the arrow, then reached her hand back again and drew four other arrows.
Pulled the bow taut once more, but this time with five arrows, energy transmitted into all five. The monster circled to her rear. But this girl seemed very alert, immediately turned to the rear and released her hand.
Five arrows flew out, the monster opened its mouth wide and energy from its mouth spewed out and blew away all five arrows, the attack continued going and headed toward her.
Her right hand reached out and launched a sphere of jamming energy toward the incoming energy source.
BOOM!!!
A large explosion caused the ground to have one more hole.
The demon thought:
"Seems that extremely powerful strike earlier she had to concentrate much energy to get it like that."
Airi far away waved her hand, a series of chain heads flew toward the demon.
It immediately dodged the incoming chains, in a flexible way, jumping from this place to another, the dodged chains immediately stabbed into the ground very deep. The demon ran out of the open ground. Ran along up a large tree. Its mouth opened wide, launching a black energy sphere floating in the air.
Just finished launching, an arrow of the purple-haired girl launched over, the demon immediately jumped down and dodged, the arrow crashed into the large tree trunk and left a large hole.
The energy sphere floating in the air was incessantly absorbing natural energy outside. The light it emitted was extremely large and overwhelmed even the sunlight.
"What the hell? What effect does that sphere have?"
Suddenly, a series of energy rays launched from the large sphere and headed toward both, Airi wrapped the chains around her body, forming a firm defensive layer. Those energy rays successively attacked Airi's chains, making the inside also suffer shock.
On the purple-haired girl's side, she immediately turned and ran, her way of running dodging through the trees, the energy rays chasing right behind her immediately stabbed into the tree trunks and exploded.

But on top of the head, Kazuka had been hovering there since who knows when. His eye had been finished being healed. Energy formed a blade shape and slashed toward the demon's jump direction.
"Caught you!"
The energy slash launched down,
BOOM!!!
The slash, slashed straight into the demon's back causing it to be pinned tight under the ground, back leaked black blood a bit, but then stopped.
"You damn brats."
Injured on the ground, eyes opened wide revealing all whites. Mouth opened and let out a roar, the ear-piercing sound caused Takeshi standing nearby to back up and cover ears. Kazuka just landed also had to cover ears. The arrows from the sky immediately flew down, but the large sound caused the arrows to be bounced out and fall to the ground.
Far away, the attack just now stopped. But Airi's chains immediately lowered.
"What kind of sound is that? Those two are too close to it, will this sound have any effect?"
She reached her hand forward.
CHAIN THUNDERSTORM PHANTOM!!!!

Feeling weak, loss of muscle control.
Looking at his trembling hand, his sight blurred, and everything seemed to be spinning. Kazuka wondered:
"What... what's happening to me?"
