Chapter 3 - Chapter 3: Guiding with Fists

Chapter 3: Guiding with Fists

Min Ha Dong awakened at the age of eighteen. He was an Esper rank A with fairly decent strength, but his brain seemed to have been forgotten in some corner after his awakening. He was a typical example of someone with no brains who was granted overbearing power, then lived like a lucky bastard who caused trouble everywhere.

I could not even count how many low-rank Guides inside the headquarters had been harassed by him. Guides of higher rank were usually protected by Espers from their own teams, so they were bothered less.

But because I was too beautiful, this fly always clung to me whenever he saw me.

As a Guide, you always have to sacrifice a little, even your body, in order to Guide. But I always upheld my own principles. I only went to bed with people I liked, or at the very least, did not hate.

Obviously, I did not like trash, so Min Ha Dong should just stay lying quietly in the trash can.

"Shut up and hold out your hand."

I glanced once at the wound on his head, silently calculating that about ten minutes of energy transmission through holding hands would be enough. But things were never that simple with Min Ha Dong.

"Hyung, I am seriously injured. My head feels like it is about to be split in half."

Min Ha Dong, who thought himself very handsome, spoke in a cloying, whiny voice. Goosebumps broke out all over my body.

What a pity for a face that was not exactly ugly, when its owner's personality was like half-processed recycled fertilizer.

He even dared to act weak and pitiful.

"Are your guts spilling out yet?"

"Hyung… what? Guts?"

Min Ha Dong stammered in confusion.

"Just now I guided an Esper whose abdomen was half blown open, and I only used a hug."

I smiled gently, not forgetting to lightly knock once on Min Ha Dong's blood-soaked, bandaged head.

"So for a tiny little wound like this, holding hands is more than enough, Min Ha Dong."

"Ah, that hurts…"

Min Ha Dong groggily clutched his head and bent forward.

"All right, stop wasting my time."

I sat down on the chair beside him, grabbed his hand, and began transmitting energy to treat the injury on Min Ha Dong's head.

But Min Ha Dong's mouth still refused to shut up as I wished.

"Hyung, are you really not considering pairing with me? I guarantee I will satisfy you under any conditions you set."

"You know I am very rich. If I had not awakened as an Esper, I would have inherited a fortune worth billions."

Min Ha Dong boasted.

Then, under my horrified gaze, Min Ha Dong pulled open his pants, spread his "little chili pepper" in front of me, and waved it with his hand.

"See? I guarantee you will be extremely satisfied."

I was speechless, not knowing what words to use to describe this level of stupidity. Moreover…

"It is only slightly bigger than a chili pepper, Min Ha Dong. Are you not ashamed to keep taking it out and showing it off?"

Min Ha Dong's face gradually turned a sickly gray-blue, then flushed bright red. He was probably so embarrassed he was about to lose his mind.

"No! It is obviously very big, Kim Jun Hyung!"

I really did not want to strike this big-bodied kid any further. After all, no man wanted to know just how weak his own capabilities truly were.

But if I did not tell the truth, Min Ha Dong would only continue living inside his ridiculous delusions.

"Actually, among all the Espers I have seen, your 'equipment' is almost at the very bottom of the rankings."

Min Ha Dong's fragile soul shattered.

Seeing this pitiful expression on his face, I softened slightly and opened my mouth to comfort him.

"Do not be sad. This is congenital. No one can change it. Live confidently, but do not misunderstand things."

With something this tiny, where did he even get the confidence to harass so many Guides in the headquarters? Were all those Guides so afraid of an Esper rank A that none of them dared to tell Min Ha Dong this harsh truth?

"Damn it…"

Min Ha Dong muttered.

Then he roared, his eyes bloodshot, glaring straight at me.

"I am not small! I will make you feel it!"

He lunged at me like a madman, trying to rip my clothes off with his hands, while that tiny thing poked against my leg.

"Min Ha Dong, you brought this on yourself."

I laughed in anger. I could not endure it anymore.

"Bang!"

I threw a heaven-shaking punch straight into Min Ha Dong's face, sending him flying and sprawling across the floor, his body trembling violently.

"Min Ha Dong, you know I go home before six in the evening every single day, right?"

"Hyung…"

Min Ha Dong trembled as he looked at me twisting my finger joints. He probably also saw the well-defined muscles beneath my clothes.

"Training your body will help you live longer."

I smiled gently and gave Min Ha Dong another slap on his still-uninjured side of the face, making his pig head symmetrical on both sides.

"Bang!"

"And muscles trained every day will help you beat the swelling into the heads of disgusting people."

"Smack!"

"Hyung… please forgive me…"

"Bang!"

"What did you say? You spoke too softly, I could not hear you. Say it again, Min Ha Dong."

I had to admit that I had wanted to do this for a long time. Guiding with fists was truly relaxing. It refreshed both mind and body, and it was especially effective against disgusting bastards who always looked down on Guides just because they had superpowers.

Guides did not have superpowers, but our physical condition was not inferior to the average Esper of the same rank at all. As long as we trained diligently, we could still possess decent combat ability.

Min Ha Dong was so stupid that he did not know this at all. I had always been looking forward to the day I could teach him a lesson.

The device on my wrist had already confirmed and recorded Min Ha Dong's harassment of me. Even if I beat him until he was half dead, Director Jena would not be able to do anything to me. Ha ha ha…

"Aah… Hyung, spare me!!!"

Just as I was beating him with great enjoyment, the door to the room suddenly burst open. Director Jena stood at the doorway, leading a tall teenage boy, both of them staring straight at me.

"Ah, this…"

I knew there would be a misunderstanding. I immediately stood up, intending to explain myself, but suddenly the teenager rushed over, grabbed my hand tightly, and looked at me with sparkling eyes full of worry.

"Hyung… did this Esper try to attack you? Are you hurt? Do you need me to help you beat this guy up?"

I froze at the sight of this boy's utterly innocent expression, then looked toward Jena until my eyes nearly popped out.

Who exactly was this foolish child?
