Chapter 10 - Chapter 10 The Star Luo Royal Family.

Chapter 10 The Star Luo Royal Family.

Having made his decision, Jin Yang pressed a soul-guided communicator on the table.

"General."

A valedictorian in a crisp uniform quickly entered, bowing respectfully.

Jin Yang handed him the documents, his tone steady and unwavering:

"Two things. First, all intelligence regarding this child named Yin Chen is classified as top secret within the legion, strictly sealed. Until I issue new orders, no information regarding his martial soul and innate soul power shall be leaked."

"Yes, sir!" the adjutant replied without hesitation.

"Second," Jin Yang continued, "send a copy of this intelligence report to Star Luo City via the royal family's encrypted channel as quickly as possible, to be presented directly to His Majesty."

"Understood!" the adjutant accepted the documents with both hands, his expression solemn.

He understood what this meant; this child named Yin Chen was now considered by the legion commander to be a crucial figure requiring direct access to the emperor.

After the adjutant left, Jin Yang stood up, walked to the window, and gazed at the distant, continuous Ming Dou Mountain Range.

He had no intention of personally meeting the child, at least not now.

Just a genius, after all. The Star Luo Empire was vast and never lacked geniuses. Those who truly grew into pillars of society were the ones who would rise to prominence.

"Awakened innate martial soul, time attribute, innate full soul power… indeed a promising seedling for a Title Douluo."

He muttered to himself, his tone tinged with admiration, but more so with a realistic calm.

"But to grow into a towering tree, the resources and time required are far too many."

In his view, it was the legion's duty to provide appropriate compensation and care for such orphans, and the royal family might also offer some extra attention and investment due to their talent.

But this had little to do with Jin Yang personally or with the core affairs of the Eighth Soul Master Legion.

He only needed to ensure that the child's information was seen by the right people and remained within a controllable range, and that would be considered fulfilling his responsibility.

As for where Yin Chen's future would lead, that depended on his own destiny and... the will of the Emperor of Star Luo City.

He, the Golden Spear Douluo, would just do a favor for now.

In the depths of the Star Luo City Imperial Palace, in an elegant and tranquil side hall, the afternoon sun shone through the huge stained-glass windows, casting dappled shadows on the carpet.

Emperor Xu Jiawei of the Star Luo Empire was not wearing an elaborate dragon robe, but only simple casual clothes, and was leisurely leaning back on the soft sofa by the window.

Opposite him sat a girl with purple hair and purple eyes, who looked no more than eleven or twelve years old. Her skin was as white as snow, and her features were as exquisite as the most perfect masterpiece of heaven. Although she was still young, her elegant and noble temperament was already beginning to take shape, and every smile and frown carried an innate grace.

She was Xu Jiawei's most beloved and trusted younger sister, Princess Xu Jiujiu of the Star Luo Empire.

The Star Crown Martial Soul lineage had dwindled to a meager number in their generation, and only the brother and sister had successfully awakened their Star Crown Martial Souls.

Therefore, Xu Jiawei had taken Xu Jiujiu under his wing from a young age, meticulously teaching her to handle imperial affairs and cultivating her ability to stand on her own.

In his heart, Xu Jiujiu was not only a sister, but also an indispensable pillar of the future empire.

At this moment, Xu Jiawei held the top-secret intelligence document about Yin Chen, urgently delivered by the Eighth Soul Master Legion.

He didn't hide it from his sister; instead, he handed her the document and calmly summarized the key information.

"Oh? Both his parents are martyrs of the Eighth Legion, his background is impeccable, and he awakened his innate martial soul under the shock of grief, a rare time attribute one at that, with innate full soul power..."

Xu Jiujiu gently tapped her chin with her slender fingers, her amethyst eyes sparkling with intelligence and sharpness.

"Brother, this is quite an extraordinary talent. General Jin Yang reported him directly to you, saving a lot of trouble and showing how much he values him."

Xu Jiawei nodded slightly, looking at his sister's interested expression, and smiled, "What, Jiujiu, are you interested in this child?"

"Of course."

Xu Jiujiu sat up straight, her face revealing a composure and confidence slightly beyond her years.

"Such talent, and such a clean background, she is precisely the future pillar that the empire urgently needs to cultivate. If we let her go unchecked, or if other forces take advantage of her, wouldn't that be a loss for us? Your Majesty is busy with affairs of state; how about entrusting this small matter to Jiu Jiu? I will represent the royal family to properly handle our relationship with this young genius, ensuring that his heart remains with the empire."

Xu Jiawei looked at his sister's proactive approach, a hint of satisfaction and consideration flashing in his eyes.

He was indeed busy with state affairs and couldn't possibly expend too much energy on a genius who had just begun to show his talent and whose future was still uncertain.

Entrusting it to Xu Jiu Jiu for training was indeed the most suitable choice at the moment.

"Alright, then this matter will be entirely handled by you."

Xu Jiawei agreed without much hesitation, his tone filled with encouragement and trust.

"If you need any resources, or encounter any difficulties, come to me anytime."

His quick agreement had its own deeper meaning.

First, he believed that with Xu Jiu Jiu's intelligence and skills, handling a relationship with a six-year-old child would be more than enough; this would be an excellent opportunity for her to gain practical experience.

Secondly, even if Jiu Jiu ultimately fails to achieve the desired effect, or even botches things up in some aspects, it wouldn't be an unacceptable loss for him and the Empire. He has his own contingency plans to salvage the situation, and can consider it as giving his sister valuable experience.

Deep down, there's an even more subtle thought.

If… if Jiu Jiu really does stumble with a six-year-old child, that would be even more interesting.

It wouldn't just mean that Jiu Jiu could learn valuable lessons about the complexities of human nature, but also that the child named Yin Chen's character, wisdom, and methods are likely far more astonishing than his martial soul talent.

A child who, at only six years old, can make the dignified Star Luo Princess suffer—his future potential and value probably need to be reassessed, making him even more worthy of the Empire's efforts to win him over and cultivate.

In any case, this investment is a sure win in his eyes. If successful, it will bring the Empire a future top-tier powerhouse; even if the process is somewhat bumpy, it can hone his sister's skills or uncover even deeper treasures.

"Killing two birds with one stone, excellent."

Xu Jiawei picked up his cup of tea, took a small sip, and his gaze, filtering through the rising steam, appeared deep and distant.

Of course, this was all predicated on Yin Chen truly being that outstanding, capable of suppressing Xu Jiujiu, who had been meticulously groomed by the royal family.

After all, it was all just his imagination. A six-year-old child, no matter how talented, was still just a child; how could he possibly be as monstrous as he imagined?
