'Where.. where am I?'
A blinding light flooded Yami's vision as he opened his eyes, which were slightly crusty after being closed for eighteen hours; that was the amount of time he had been unconscious from the curse's last attack. His nose was immediately attacked from the smell of a deep antiseptic.
Sitting up, he saw the school nurse, who he never met prior to his first mission. A loud ambient humming is constantly heard throughout the medical room.
Nurse Mai notices Yami has woken up. "Welcome back, you were out for a while, hun." She walks over to the boy before continuing. "You were out for about eighteen hours, if you were curious."
Yami immediately remembers everything that happened at the mission, looking panicked. "Akari! Did he get out?" His brain immediately went to the worst possibilities.
"Yes, he got out just fine." Nurse Mai handed the boy his freshly cleaned uniform, which was washed as he was unconscious. "According to Akari, the curse spared him for whatever reason. Besides, I think Ayumu would've saved him even if the curse didn't spare him."
Walking through the slim door of the medical room, was Ayumu who was quickly followed by Mina and Keiko.
"I heard you got your ass beat pretty good, dude." Said Mina who despite also going on a mission, was completely unscathed.
Keiko smirks at Mina's comment. "I can't believe you guys encountered an unregistered special grade!" He continues. "We encountered a grade 3 curse on our mission; I didn't even have to do anything against it either. Mina's paper birds were able to handle it alone."
"Akari told me everything that happened on your mission." Said Ayumu who was somewhat impressed. "He also recommended you for grade 2, saying you could keep up with him, and were as calm as you could be fighting an unregistered special grade." Pausing briefly before continuing. "The higher-ups decided to give you a chance, and have registered you as a semi-grade 2."
Yami's eyes widen slightly. "Really? I didn't think I would be recommended for a higher grade this early."
Ayumu nods slightly. "The second-years have been wanting to meet all of you first-years. Especially the two they heard have already encountered a special grade curse." He looks Yami in the eyes directly, before walking out of the room, as he left the room he spoke. "Get ready you three, the second-years will be back in about an hour."
The three of them get dressed and ready to meet the second-years over the next hour, trying to impress them. Mina stylizes her long pink hair in a fringed bang, getting makeup on which, was mostly for herself. Keiko doesn't do much, besides readjusting his middle part and reapplying cologne. In dorm room 2A, both doing nothing to try and impress the second-years that are arriving soon, Akari and Yami are both watching television.
There is a fast knock on the door, Yami gets up from the couch in his dorm room, opening the door to see Mina waiting there.
"The second-years are here." She looks Yami up and down, seeing he did nothing to try and impress them. "Why am I not surprised?" Sighing, before heading outside to meet the second-years.
All four first-year students arrive outside as the second-years arrive back to Tokyo Jujutsu High, just coming back from a meeting with the second-years from Kyoto Jujutsu High...
