Iron Club Alvida!
The very same Alvida who once captured Koby and forced him into slavery, the pirate Luffy sent flying with his very first punch after setting sail, and who later ate the Smooth-Smooth Fruit and transformed into a stunning beauty—
that infamous fat pirate woman!
As the opening antagonist of the Pirate King story, Alvida rarely appears later on, yet traces of her are everywhere.
Kaido wields a spiked club just like hers.
Big Mom possesses a similarly "upgraded" plus-size physique.
Even the Pirate Empress loves to boast about her beauty—though in her case, she truly is beautiful.
As for fat Alvida… well, she's a bit abstract.
But Ginro couldn't be blamed for not recognizing her at first glance.
This was the Sea Circle Calendar Year 1515—five years before Luffy ever set sail. Alvida was only around twenty years old, not yet excessively bloated, with fewer freckles, her body somewhere between her slimmer and obese versions.
Clearly, she hadn't yet gone out to sea as a pirate. Instead, she ruled the docks of Xixikono Town as a local boss, founding a labor gang that directly rivaled the Boar Gang—
The Iron Club Gang.
Ginro never imagined that the Iron Club Gang's leader would turn out to be this kind of "iron club."
For a moment, all the words he had prepared completely vanished from his mind, and he fell silent for several seconds.
Alvida cupped her cheeks and said shyly,
"I know I'm incredibly beautiful, but don't stare at me so directly~"
"..."
Ginro almost went blind.
Two meters tall. Around 250 to 260 pounds.
Not morbidly obese—but undeniably massive.
Once a person gets fat, concepts like "handsome" or "beautiful" have nothing to do with them anymore.
And yet this Alvida was blushing and acting cute.
Who could withstand that?!
"Um… Iron Club Boss…" Ginro tried to explain his purpose.
But Alvida had already sunk completely into her own world. She laughed loudly, then suddenly turned to glare at the subordinate on her right.
"Kane! Who's the most beautiful woman in all of Xixikono Town?"
Without the slightest hesitation—almost as if the words had been programmed into him—Kane replied:
"Of course it's you, Boss! You're not only the most beautiful woman in Xixikono Town, you're the most beautiful woman in the entire Konomi Archipelago—no, the most beautiful woman on the whole sea!"
"Hahahaha!"
Satisfied, Alvida turned her gaze back to Ginro.
Your turn.
Come on.
Praise my beauty!
Man!
Facing Alvida's eager eyes, Ginro fell silent for a long moment before letting out a deep sigh.
I shouldn't have come.
The Boar Gang wanted his money.
But the Iron Club Gang wanted his dignity?!
In some situations, dignity is worthless compared to money.
But once a person gains real strength, they start valuing dignity for no logical reason at all.
"Iron Club Boss," Ginro said carefully,
"your facial features are well-proportioned, your forehead is full and refined. If you were to lose some weight, you'd definitely be a rare beauty."
"…Huh?"
Alvida's smile froze.
An oppressive, suffocating atmosphere instantly filled the warehouse.
"Ian," she said slowly,
"are you saying that… I'm not beautiful right now?"
All eight of Alvida's subordinates immediately grew tense.
Ginro struggled to choose his words.
"Well, you see… you're… um…"
Forget it.
He couldn't force it out.
Let's fight.
Ginro gave up and said helplessly,
"Yes. To put it bluntly—you're kind of ugly."
The truth hurts the most.
"Ah—!"
Alvida's men stared in disbelief, mouths hanging open wide enough to fit two fists inside. It was like their jaws had ceased to exist.
How could he be this brave?!
Alvida herself looked as though she'd been struck by lightning.
Family, who understands this pain?
A perfectly nice evening, lying around on my own turf, and suddenly some trash man barges in and calls me ugly?!
With that internal meltdown, Alvida's face darkened completely.
She stood up abruptly, the sofa beneath her slowly rebounding as she grabbed the spiked club resting beside her.
"Beat this bastard flat!"
"Yes!"
The subordinates, already expecting this outcome, rushed forward while silently mourning Ginro.
The closest was the gate guard who had brought Ginro inside. Clearly experienced in brawling, he lifted his leg and viciously stomped toward Ginro's knee.
But Ginro seemed to have eyes on the back of his head.
Without lifting his foot, his body slid sideways with uncanny precision. Without even turning around, he drove his elbow backward.
Bang!
With a heavy, dull impact, the guard—already off-balance from missing his kick—smashed his chin straight into Ginro's elbow. The combined force sent his eyes rolling back as he was launched through the air, instantly knocked out.
The sharpness of that strike caused the remaining seven men to hesitate—but their numerical advantage quickly restored their courage.
Kane, the man who had just praised Alvida, charged first, raising a wooden club and smashing it down toward Ginro's head.
In the next instant, Ginro changed.
He was no longer human—but a ferocious tiger.
An invisible roar tore through Kane's soul.
ROAR—!
His mind went blank. Before he could even register Ginro's movements, a tiger pounce sent his body arching backward through the air. Several ribs shattered on impact as he crashed into two men behind him, the momentum sending all three tumbling together in a heap, groaning in agony.
Xeno Fist — Tiger Form!
Immediately after, Ginro slightly hunched his chest, his spine arching like a bear's. His power sank downward, gathering into a mountain-lifting force guarding his abdomen.
Crash!
A wooden crate was hurled into Ginro's back, shattering into splinters—but his body didn't budge an inch. Amid flying debris, he spun and fired a cannon-like punch, instantly knocking out another man.
Xeno Fist — Bear Form!
In just a few seconds, five of Alvida's eight subordinates were down. The remaining three were frozen in terror, clutching their clubs but unable to advance.
Finally, Alvida couldn't hold back anymore.
With a furious roar, she charged forward like a tank, swinging her spiked club straight at Ginro's head. Her massive body carried terrifying power—the club howled through the air the moment it moved.
Ginro stayed calm.
He didn't block.
He didn't resist head-on.
He merely tilted his head, his entire body seeming to lose all weight, drifting backward along the path of the club's wind.
The enormous weapon passed just inches from his nose.
His movement was impossibly light—like a leaf lifted by the breeze, like a sheet of paper.
Xeno Fist — Monkey Form!
Seizing the moment when Alvida's strength was spent, Ginro surged forward.
Half-Step Crashing Fist!
BOOM!
The punch landed squarely on Alvida's face, caving it inward.
She staggered back, her face becoming a mess of blood, tears, and snot as she barely stabilized herself with the club. Then she let out a despairing wail.
"No—!"
"My beauty! You dared—YOU DARED! I'LL KILL YOU!"
See? She knows getting her face smashed makes her ugly—so her aesthetic sense is perfectly normal.
If you want to be pretty, lose weight! What's the point of waving a spiked club at people?!
Ginro suddenly shrank inward like a startled monkey, curling tightly to evade a sweeping strike. His right hand then shot forward, fingers clawed.
Xeno Fist — Eagle Form!
SHHK—!
The eagle claw ripped across Alvida's arm, carving three deep, bloody gashes.
"Ahhh!"
The pain forced her to drop the club. Without pause, Ginro shifted again, charging forward in tiger form and slamming into her chest.
THUD!
With weight-enhanced force, his punches pierced through layers of fat. Blood sprayed from Alvida's mouth as five rapid strikes followed, lifting her massive body off the ground and sending her flying.
When her unconscious form hit the floor, the warehouse fell into deathly silence.
Ginro withdrew his stance and stood still.
Aside from sparring with his senior brothers and sisters, this was his first real combat test of Xeno Fist—and he was extremely satisfied. If he could defeat Alvida, even one who hadn't yet gone to sea, then pirates with bounties of three to five million shouldn't pose much of a problem.
So next…
What was I here for again?
