Departure and Loneliness
The next morning, Mi-An awoke to find Xiao Yan gone. A note rested on the table:
"I'm sorry for leaving you behind. I can't continue living with this guilt. Don't look for me. Live on, my dear Mi-An."
Her heart shattered. She ran outside in desperation, colliding with LuQi.
"What's wrong?" he asked calmly.
"Xiao Yan… he's gone," she said through tears before collapsing into his arms.
Somewhere, in the void, the devils and demons gathered- preparing for battle with Nem; their leader accompanied with the Evil god.
Elsewhere, in a void by a silent river, Xiao Yan knelt alone.
"Father… I'm sorry," he whispered into the stillness, the weight of destiny and guilt pressing down on him.
The world seemed paused, holding its breath as the story of betrayal, prophecy, love, and sorrow hung suspended, waiting for the next chapter.
