Chapter 3 - 3

'My strength should be strong now, enough to at least contend against any soldiers from before…'

Ron could still vividly remember when clashing against that soldier before, his arms had gone completely numb from the pain. If he didn't have the spell and caught that soldier off-guard then it would definitely not have been easy.

'Even then with my strength increased, I still don't have enough experience…'

Sure, the spell would work effectively against normal soldiers but what if he faced multiple enemies? Just like how this silver-haired woman was defeated, in war, anything could happen and one needed to be prepared to face it. Leaning back against the comfy sofa to stare blankly at the ceiling, numerous thoughts circulated in mind.

This was why he came here in the first place, to gain experience and strength to become a proper villain and enjoy the company of beautiful women, cough cough… What more could a man ask for?

"Come in."

Jerking head forward, a crisp voice escaped his throat. The entrance of the camp fluttered open and five personal maids entered inside, tentatively turning to the bound silver-haired women on the bed.

"Is she the captive?"

Eleanor walked up to her, curling arms around the silver hair, "she is so pretty," even though dirty and soaked to the brim in blood, the beauty beneath those layers was crystal clear. The other four maids also moved and watched with curiosity.

"Wash her so that I could interrogate."

Ron wanted to know more about the "side character". This silver-haired soldier. She was almost hell-bent on killing him but now has become a complete captive with the quest completed, her use has decreased.

"Yes, young master."

The five maids quickly carried and left. Ron was now alone in the camp, in silent contemplation. 'I should start learning other weapons soon.' Although a sword was an adequate weapon, trying hands on different things wouldn't hurt either, especially with the newfound strength.

There was also the case of the Magic, being able to store six spells for now and all of them were rather straightforward. Also about his own level. He was still Level 1 despite the increased attribute.

'How does one even Level-Up?'

Anyway, soon, the maids came carrying the clean silver-haired woman, now donning a nightgown replaced from the armour, laying the body gently on bed.

"Secure her tightly."

Because of the bath and changing clothes, the ropes barely had any effectiveness for them, just as the five were about to, the woman's eyes snapped open. Ron quickly moved from his seat, brutally delivering a punch to the head.

Bang!

The silver-haired woman motionlessly fell to the bed, the entire head bleeding out, staining the sheet below in a crimson dye. He went back to sit again. The five maids were appalled.

"We… We are sorry, young master."

"Hmm, be careful from next time, if she had really been given time then at least three of you would have died, also tend to the wound."

The five maids glanced at each and hurriedly started to administer to the silver-haired girl. After the increase of the attribute, it was the first time for him to test out his strength and was pretty satisfied with it already. If Ron had really used every bit of strength, then that skull would have definitely cracked by now.

Once properly tied and treated, the five maids moved behind him and now it was a waiting game. Barely an hour passed before the silver-haired girl's brows stirred, groggy eyes snapped to see Ron in front, "I will kill you," violently struggling against the tight ropes.

"It's useless so don't bother with it," Ron joined hands together before stretching the entirety of his body with a light yawn, "I am only here to interrogate you and nothing more." But seeing the still struggling figure against the rope, brows started to twitch again. Patiently waiting. After an hour, she gave up and was now simply staring with bloodshot eyes.

"Have you calmed down now?"

"What do you want?"

"I want to interrogate you of course. Extracting all the details out of your pretty mouth would be fun."

"You…"

"Do you want to obediently comply or should I make things difficult?"

She lowered her head. A small murmur escaped her lips, "I won't be here for long, they will definitely come to get me…"

"Oh, do you have friends?"

"..."

Ron's brows twitched again, he hated to get ignored and this woman has done it twice, as a villain, it was only right to punish, "Eleanor, go inform Rowen to call for reinforcement."

"Eh, yes."

Eleanor hurriedly walked away.

A strange silence resumed inside the tent again. The silver-haired girl's eyes gradually widened, it was already difficult for them to even get close to this guy and if there were more guards especially from the Crown Duchy then the possibility would go down from slim to none. She… she was stupid…

"Did you finally realize it now?" He was still sitting on his sofa.

"..."

"Alright, once your 'backup' arrives, let's talk to you after that."

Then Ron stood up from the sofa and calmly walked forward to sleep on the bed, right beside her. As for the four maids, they went away with a shake of the wrist.

"Wh… what are you doing?"

"I am sleeping, this is my bed."

"You…"

Hugging body so tightly that she released grunts of pain while squirming, Ron growled, "Keep quiet."

"Bastard…"

His grip grew even tighter.

"..."

"Nice, you are obedient now," patting her head like a pet, "What's your name?"

"Clarissa."

"So Clarissa, do you think there would be pretty women like you, if your backup arrives?"

"I… I don't know…"

"Guess we have to see then."

Ron closed his eyes and directly slept, soon after snoring already. "He… he really slept…" Clarissa was left speechless but being completely bound, could do little about anything. Soon, sleeping through the night. The morning sun rays gently seeped through the gaps on the entrance of the camp, brightening on his face. He finally let go and stood up from the bed.

"This woman is interesting."

She was still sleeping soundly in bed. Shaking head before he brushed and cleaned himself, leaving directly, for now her use was minimal, maybe it could lure more side-characters or even a main character? Outside the tent, the soldiers were already doing their morning training: sword, archery, staff, spear, knives, they were training in almost every weapon including their own body.

For training with the sword, staff, spear: they used trainee dummies, for archery and knives: they made targets while for the body, just doing some exercises was already sufficient. It was vital for them to keep their bodies active. Ron first joined those who were making rounds around the camp.

"Y… young master."

The soldier yelped in fright when he saw Ron's figure right beside him.

"I am training just like you guys, is there a problem?"

"No…"

"Good."

Under the dumbfounded gaze of all the soldiers, Ron started to make rounds around the camp, when his batch of runners were exhausted, he wasn't in the slightest bit and joined another batch to continue forward.

"H… how could a child have such strength in his body?"

The soldiers murmured around, seeing Ron make laps upon laps around the camp. Hundred two laps. That was the total number before finally stopping, then doing some other exercises to heat his body. Finally, turning towards the trainee dummies to move around with the sword. An hour passed just like that. Then he clenched a spear for the first time to train with it. There was an instructor who especially taught it.

"Young master, let me show you how to move the spear, although it might look simple but it isn't."

"Hmm."

In just a few minutes, he already got the basics of it down and was now completely practising on his own already. Then a few hours later, a new notification popped in front. Acquiring the spear skill at level one.

"You really learned it so easily."

The instructor was left rather speechless. Ron only nodded with thoughtfulness, reaching level one was easy but reaching further than that was almost completely impossible. Then going to learn the staff which had its own instructor as well. The spear and the staff were almost the same with a little difference in weight and fighting styles. It took even less time than before to gain it.

Focus now turning towards the bow. This was a lot more difficult than the spear and the staff, one needed to know about wind trajectory and target before even having a remote chance at hitting a further target.

"Young master, there are three stages even in the basics of bows, the first is shooting with a single arrow, the second is shooting with two and the third is shooting with three."

"Oh?"
