"What kind of task is that?" Yuwi asked lowly as she was trying to keep her voice calm when talking to the elders. The elders looked at one another before talking off the issues mentioned. "Hanbora and Douglas will explain."
"Typical Ginarold." Elder Han chuckled lightly in amusement.
Elder Han turned fully to face the students on the side of the meeting table before picking up a roll of map from Elder Qulin's extanded hand as he places it down on the table gently. "We'll be needing a map for the three of you to use." Yuwi's eyes slightly widened at the sight of Elder Han picking up a map from Elder Qulin.
"Does it have anything to do with outside academy exploration?" Her eyes narrowing a little. Disliking the thought of getting outside the academy.
She knew pretty much some of the people in Wisdom Elements Academy really wants to get rid of them at times. The second last mission they got was a scam. They were sent out so they'll be able to get accused as 'going out from the academy without any permission' from the elders or the head of the academy. Yuwi and the others had make a decision to be careful the next time they were told to get into another tasks or missions.
"No, we're not trying to 'sent' you off." Elder Qulin interrupted as she crossed her arms against her chest.
The trio's almost stunned. It's as if the elder woman has the capability to read their minds. "Sorry?" Yuwi asked for confirmation.
"We've been knowing the truth of some people trying to send a trio off this academy from the information seeking club Elder." Elder Doug helps with the explaination with a warm smile placed on his lips.
"Does the three of you think we're THAT cruel?!" Elder Qulin place both her hands on hips as she with her tone surprisingly high, almost close to scolding.
"Erk-!" The three of them flinched.
"Lin, please go easy on them. Calm down." Elder Han persued.
"Hmph." She throws a glare before turning away.
"All of you are acting childish. Immature." Elder Gin sighed at the sight in front of him before taking the map from the table before rolled them wide open on the large meeting table. "This is the map of the Wisdom Forest."
"Wisdom Forest?" Haru asked in curiosity as his eyes scanned over the entire map.
"'Wisdom Forest' belongs to our academy, Haru." Izuki chimes in to explain.
Elder Gin nodded. "Great knowledge."
"I assume that there's some issue going over there?" Yuwi examine the map, trying to figure over if there's any marked things anywhere.
Elder Hanbora clasp his hands together against his chest in a proud gesture. "Mhm! Correct guess!"
"Bet it's about something corrupting again.." Haru grumbles under his breath.
"What was that?!" Elder Qulin yelled.
Haru flinched at the sound of the elder's voice. "Ah- Nothing!"
"Haha, easy on him, Yue!" Elder Doug lets out a light teasing laugh.
"Can't we just get to the point already..?" Elder Gin pinched the bridge of his nose as he lets out a heavy tired sigh. They're totally going to give him a headache by any sooner at this point.
"Sorry." They all apologized.
"It's fine." Elder Gin shakes his head once then ran his eyes to take a glance on Elder Han. "Han."
Elder Han nodded, the sign of understanding. He cleared his throat before speaking. His expression turning serious by the sudden. "I will explain the detail of the Wisdom Forest's issue. It's a long story, so please listen properly."
His gaze hardened as he eyes the map to explain the situation they're facing. "I won't repeat twice."
Wisdom Forest is also known as a place where some of the students of WEA lives to keep their bond stays connected with other unique creatures living inside the forest. It's originally not belong to anyone or any places. But since the day where the academy gets in touch with the Valorant Crystal, everything has changed. The whole creature inside the forest finds their way itself to WEA to provide protection for the academy and to make sure everything is safe under the academy's hold. Some even gets attached to it and even made a pact with the head of the Wisdom Elements Academy.
The creatures even offer to hand over the whole forest to become the possession of the academy because of the Valorant Crystal.
It is said that Valorant Crystal might be one of the most powerful Strength Giver object that ever existed on Od'dverst. If those creatures has a connection with the academy, they would also be under the protection of the Wisdom Elements Academy.
So it would be both sides protecting one another.
"That's the history of the forest. Now, for the details of the issue." Elder Doug finished his explaining then gestured to Elder Han to continue.
Elder Han nodded once before looking sharply towards the trio.
It's like a bombshell when he said it.
