A bell rang across the academy.
Students froze.
Announcement: "All classes suspended. Remain where you are."
Armored knights sealed corridors.
Student: "What's happening?"
Celsius sat calmly.
Eridiaries: "They hunt."
Scene 2: Interrogation
Location: Training Hall D
Three figures entered.
An academy examiner.
A knight captain.
A mage in silver robes.
Examiner: "State your names."
One by one.
When it reached Celsius—
Mage: "You."
Her eyes glowed.
Mage: "Step forward."
Celsius complied.
Mage: "The demon was bound."
Mage: "Who immobilized it?"
Celsius met her gaze.
Celsius: "It froze on its own."
The mage studied him.
Mage: "…Interesting."
Scene 3: Garron's Choice
Garron crossed his arms.
Garron: "The demon breached weak seals."
Garron: "Lucky strike killed it."
Silence.
The knight captain nodded reluctantly.
Captain: "We'll investigate."
They left.
Garron glanced at Celsius.
Garron: "You owe me."
Celsius bowed slightly.
Scene 4: Cultist Revealed
Location: Academy Storage Wing
A scream echoed.
They found a student—dead.
Black runes burned into the walls.
Knight: "Demon cult."
Celsius felt the shadow stir.
Eridiaries: "They smell you."
Scene 5: Confrontation with Selene
Location: Library Alcove
Selene blocked his path.
Selene: "You used shadow."
Celsius didn't deny it.
Celsius: "Keep it quiet."
She studied him.
Selene: "Then survive."
She stepped aside.
Scene 6: A Marked Man
Location: Dormitory
Celsius closed the door.
A faint sigil glowed on his palm.
Eridiaries: "They marked you."
Celsius: "Good."
He clenched his fist.
Celsius: "I'll hunt them first."
