Ling Yu and Tsunade walked side by side toward the Senju residence.
"Sis, do you know who was behind the Uzumaki clan's destruction?"
Ling Yu walked behind her, hands clasped behind his back, asking in a deliberately casual tone.
When Tsunade had recounted the mission at Granny Mito's, he'd barely held back the urge to ask—but with Kushina and the other girl present, he'd stayed quiet.
Now that it was just the two of them, he had no reservations.

Tsunade looked up at the sky, her voice heavy.

"I wish I knew. But every Uzumaki shinobi we found… their faces were frozen in shock, like they'd been terrified. None of them showed any sign of resistance."

Ling Yu felt zero sympathy for them—except for Mikoto. He had no fondness for the rest of the Uchiha.
It wasn't just the ancient Senju–Uchiha feud. The younger Uchiha walked around with smug, arrogant expressions and spoke like they owned the world. Ling Yu had disliked them for a long time.
The older ones—the elders—were even worse. Scheming rebels, constantly plotting in the shadows like old foxes.
Playing tactics really does make the heart filthy. The Uchiha leadership wasn't just dirty—it was stupid.
In the original story, after all their endless scheming, they still got infiltrated by the Third Hokage and wiped out.
