Kyouko sat at the dresser and looked at the mirror, reaching for the hair dryer to dry her hair.
I wonder how I should help Haruki learn more about how to understand girls.
She glanced at the mirror while drying her hair, watching the strands fly.
Maybe this is why he never had any girlfriend. Maybe because he doesn't know how to talk or treat them properly.
After drying her hair, she headed to the wardrobe and reached for underwear, slipping off her towel. She stood naked before the mirror, her flawless skin glowing in the morning light, her curves perfectly accentuated.
I wonder what should I wear?
Maybe this frilly summer dress? Since it's summer. Or maybe this one?
Kyouko shook her head and smiled.
Meanwhile, Haruki was already waiting outside his room.
Ugh! Where is she? Always takes forever to change. What's so hard about it?
Just choose an outfit, wear it, adjust your hair, and done.
While leaning on the wall, Haruki glanced at Kyouko's room door. The door was slightly ajar, and through the crack, he saw Kyouko's towel slip a bit, revealing her full, firm, round breast before she adjusted it back.
The pink nipple. The smooth skin.
Haruki swallowed hard and shook his head.
"Mom! You still changing?" Haruki shouted.
"Nearly finished~" Kyouko's voice floated from the room.
Haruki then noticed Kyouko open the door and step outside, standing not too far from him.
She wore a sleeveless one-piece dress that revealed her cleavage.
"How do I look?" Kyouko turned and smiled, one hand resting casually on her hip.
"What are you wearing, Mom?" Haruki asked, glaring hard.
"What? This is beautiful, right?" Kyouko struck a casual pose, shifting her weight to one leg.
"No! Change it now!"
"Hmm? What's wrong?" Kyouko asked, noticing Haruki looked genuinely annoyed.
"I don't want you to wear that kind of outfit!" Haruki grumbled.
Kyouko just chuckled, shook her head, and started to walk. But paused when Haruki didn't move.
"Haruki? What are you waiting for? Let's go~"
"No! I'm not going with you if you wear that kind of clothing."
"Hmm? Why?"
"I don't want to be seen with you wearing something like that. Change or I'm not going. I'm serious."
"Haruki!"
"What? No means no! Change."
Kyouko exhaled and shook her head. "If I can't wear this kind of clothing, then what should I wear?"
"I don't know! Just not like this. Wear the usual blouse and long skirt."
"But it's summer." Kyouko glared at Haruki, but Haruki glanced away and ignored her.
"Yeah? But we have AC in the house, in the car, and the supermarket we're going to also has AC. No excuse, Mom!"
Kyouko exhaled. "Even your father never complains about what I'm wearing."
"That's Father. Not me. You can wear that if you're walking with Father, but not with me."
Kyouko puckered her lips and glared at him. "You talk about what I'm wearing, but look at you!"
"What? Plain t-shirt and jeans. At least it's better than what you're wearing."
"Mou!" Kyouko grumbled and walked back inside her room.
Ugh! I wonder what's happening with him today.
Kyouko removed the one-piece dress and checked the blouse and long black skirt. While grumbling, she put them on and looked at the mirror. She adjusted her hair and then headed out.
Glaring at Haruki with pursed lips. "There! Satisfied?"
"Mm... now I'm not embarrassed walking with you." Haruki exhaled and slowly headed downstairs while Kyouko followed, her handbag strap swinging at her side.
"Hmph! Just so you know, you should be proud that you have a mother this hot!" Kyouko glared at him when they reached downstairs, then glanced away with a cute sulking expression.
"Yeah yeah, whatever, Mom." Haruki kept walking past the living room toward the front door.
"You should learn how to respect a woman, Haruki." Kyouko glared at him from the doorway, watching him slowly put on his shoes.
"Respect?" Haruki finally looked up, his gaze sharp. "How am I supposed to respect a woman who shows no self-respect? Wearing that kind of outfit where everyone can see?" He continued adjusting his shoes.
"It's like you're inviting trouble. I only respect girls who are smart about the world, who know how to be confident without making themselves targets for every creep out there."
Kyouko's lips puckered into a small, sulky pout, her cheek slightly puffed.
"Hmmph. No wonder you don't have a girlfriend yet. Your standards are impossible."
Haruki glanced at Kyouko, who stood there looking both graceful and cute with her puckered lips and slight pout.
"If a girl is really beautiful, she'll look good in anything. Someone who knows her own worth doesn't need to dress for stares. That's the kind of person I could respect. And protect." His voice softened slightly. "Not someone who trades her dignity for cheap attention."
Kyouko's eyes widened for a moment.
A small smile touched her lips.
She tilted her head, studying him.
Ah~ My son really does have his type. I was worried about him. Now I know he does have interest in finding a girl.
A spark of playful challenge lit in her eyes.
"Oh? So you have a type, Haruki? Smart, confident, beautiful in anything?"
"Hmm?" Haruki glanced at her after finishing with his shoes. "Yeah… sort of."
She did a slow, deliberate turn, letting him see the modest outfit she'd changed into just for him. "Well? Since I dressed just to your liking… do I meet your… standards, Haruki?" She leaned in slightly, her voice dropping to a sweet whisper.
"Huh? What kind of question is that?" Haruki looked at her. Cute, beautiful, standing there expectantly like a girl waiting for praise.
"Mou! Haruki! I did change because you insisted!" Kyouko puffed her cheeks, narrowing her eyes at him. "The least you can do is give me a proper compliment!"
"Ugh. We were supposed to leave for the supermarket like five minutes ago," Haruki exhaled, reaching for the door.
"We are not leaving until you give me a proper compliment!" Kyouko stomped her foot, crossed her arms, and looked away with puckered lips.
"Fine. You're beautiful. Happy?"
"Mou! Do it more like a true gentleman! Or was what you said earlier just… empty talk?"
"Fine." Haruki exhaled and stood straight, looking at her properly.
Kyouko tucked a bit of hair behind her ear, folded her hands in front of her, and smiled warmly.
"You look… truly lovely today, Mom. The way this outfit suits you… it shows your elegance without needing to reveal anything. You're beautiful just as you are." Haruki's voice softened, his gaze sincere. "When I see you like this, it makes me wish... I could see you like this every day. Not just today, but always. You're the most beautiful woman I know, and seeing you comfortable and confident like this... it makes me happy."
Kyouko fell completely silent. Her heart raced, warmth spreading through her chest.
"Okay, Mom! Let's go." Haruki turned toward the door.
