In the midst of the night a dull glow of crimson could be seen on a roof top. A crimson red bow made of energy was lifted up. It had no solid form, but rather a mess and amalgamation of energy.
Silently in the whispers of the night, he dreamed of murder.
That crimson arrow imbued with a murderous dream flew into the night sky striking a passerby as they vanished in a wisp of ethereal blue.
Bahn's bow soon dissipated as he pulled out his phone looking at the one contact.
[!@$#@]
[Shut Eye] [It's done]
[@#*&%] [Many thanks]
During the usual days he was a debt collector on behalf of Tingyun's guild. However, his little side hustle was anything but of legal nature.
He was a hired hand.
He would do anything for work.
Protection, assassination, transport... Anything he was capable of, he would take. Another notification alerted him as his face relaxed a bit.
[Tingyun] [I'll be gone for a bit on a business trip. I'll be back in a few weeks. I've left some documents that require your expertise.]
[Bahn] [Ok ok]
[Tingyun] [... Nothing more?]
[Bahn] [Nothing, bye, busy.]
[Tingyun] [Busy with what?]
[Bahn] [Murder]
[Tingyun] [Those jokes aren't funny, now knock it off]
Bahn smirked at the screen, he had told nothing but the truth and yet therein lies the beauty of complete honesty. You're so honest that no one believes what they perceive as the lie due to the crafted facade.
His hand raised high into the air as he spotted another Disciple of Sanctus Medicus.
The crimson energy arrow struck true as the man vanished with a wisp of blue.
Bahn continued to sit on the rooftop with a cup of tea as he continued to watch the streets. With each disciple that appeared, they'd be struck without even a second to feel the pain.
In a way, he was the most merciful of all Lord Ravagers, perhaps the odd one out with how he denied the reforging of the body.
Within his body was crimson blood, not golden.
He would not forget his roots.
He would not forget his goal of annihilation.
Bahn sighed as he took a look at the time with the lockscreen showing him and Tingyun together in Aurum Alley.
A faint smile traced his lips.
So what if I'm an Emanator of Destruction? Not in the same friend group as the other Lord Ravagers, I'm sure It'll be fine even if she knows.
But this peaceful life, he wanted it to stay this way longer.

"Fu Xuan, are you sure about this?" Jing Yuan stared intently at the nervous Fu Xuan. "It can't be wrong, it's never been wrong. There is not a single time the Matrix has been wrong. There is a Lord Ravager hiding on the Loufu."
Jing Yuan sucked in a breath of air before puffing it all out at once.
"I see..." he did not continue to question.
Fu Xuan continued "Although strangely the reading for the Loufu seems to be very prosperous?"
Jing Yuan thought for a bit, "A strange thought, perhaps this Lord Ravager does not intend to do anything to the Loufu?"
Fu Xuan gazed at him incredulously, "A Lord Ravager having no thoughts of destruction?"
Jing Yuan nodded, "Perhaps, but there's no shortage of strange sights within the cosmos. Could you perhaps try see who it is?"
No later had he spoken, Fu Xuan had already attempted to peer into the Lord Ravager's identity.
A loud scream echoed through the General's mansion.
Fu Xuan opened her eyes shaking in fear as her facial features contorted in vast paranoia. Her beautiful features marred with psychotic fear.
"Fu Xuan calm down! You are in the General's mansion!" Jing Yuan shouted to anchor her in reality.
Fu Xuan's demeanor became better as she realised she was no longer in "that" place.
"What did you see?" He asked. Fu Xuan shivered as she spoke with a shaky tone. "At first just a murky voice, a male. Said he was not interested in the Loufu, said not to lump him in with all the other Lord Ravagers that get excited from destruction."
Jing Yuan tilted his head in confusion, "A good thing no? What scared you that bad then?"
Fu Xuan continued "He did not appreciate the spying and then nothing. Absolutely nothing. Time itself was meaningless, I could feel my sense of self continuing to fade away. The greatest fear known to man is the unknown. I could feel nothing but my deteriorating sense of self. It felt like years in there."
Jing Yuan raised his head in an apologetic manner, "Apologies, this was an error on my part. Go get some rest. We can probably take his words for the truth considering there has been no movements at all. In fact, activities from the disciples have been reduced."

Annoying, trying to pry into me with that oversized scrap of metal. "Hello sir, you currently owe an outstanding 3000 strales to the Merchant Guild. How would you like to pay?"
Bahn hummed as he continued to skip down the street with a happy expression. "I finally get to see my Tingyun~" Everyone around the street stared as if he had been possessed. "Fluffy, fluffy. I get my fluffy again."
A sudden surge of a familiar dream brought him out of his merry stupor.

His face was quickly marred with disappointment as he turned in a circle before finding the right direction.
"A dream of murder coming your way."
The crimson bow appeared as a single blue arrow was fired into the vast cosmos.
In that moment someone had vanished without a trace.
