Chapter 3 - Get over here ..!!!

***

In mere moments, everyone in the Justice League was left dumbstruck by the sudden shift in the young man's demeanor. One second, he had been conversing rationally with Superman and Supergirl, his voice steady and measured. The next, he staggered as if struck by an invisible blow, then unleashed a devastating punch that sent Martian Manhunter hurtling through the air like a discarded ragdoll, crashing into a nearby lamppost with a metallic screech.

The transformation was so bizarre, so utterly jarring, that even Wonder Woman froze for precious seconds, her warrior instincts warring with disbelief. Then clarity snapped into place. She charged forward with a fierce cry, her bracelets gleaming. Green Lantern and Flash reacted just as swiftly, rocketing into motion to intervene—Lantern's ring humming with emerald energy, Flash a red blur streaking across the pavement.

The young man didn't flinch. He zoomed past Superman, who had darted in to block his path, and delivered a brutal backhand to Wonder Woman mid-charge. She thought he'd gone rogue, a feral threat to be subdued—but the force of the blow lifted her off her feet, slamming her into John Stewart. They tumbled into a parked car, the vehicle crumpling like foil under their combined weight, glass shattering in a glittering cascade.

His gaze locked onto J'onn, unblinking and lethal. "You..." He pointed a finger, his voice the calmest whisper laced with volcanic rage. "Dare?!"

Of course, he spoke in Kryptonian, the ancient tongue rolling off his lips like thunder. Only Kal-El and Kara understood the full venom, but the gesture was universal. Everyone pieced it together in an instant—J'onn had tried to read his mind. The Martian's telepathic probe had triggered this storm.

The realization hung heavy, a brief flicker of justification amid the chaos. But before they could regroup or choose an approach, Superman and Supergirl surged forward again, forming a desperate human barricade.

"Wait!" Kara pleaded, her voice cracking with urgency. Hands raised, she planted one palm on the young man's heaving chest and the other toward J'onn, trying to bridge the chasm. "There must be a misunderstanding! J'onn is a friend—he didn't mean any harm!"

"I'm sorry for what my friend did," Superman added, his blue eyes pleading, his posture protective yet non-threatening. "Please, I assure you, it was a mistake. Stand down—we can talk this out."

But the young man's brain refused to process it. Locked in J'onn's direction, his irises burned with death itself. He didn't know *why* this intrusion clawed so deep—only that it ripped open the body's most excruciating memory, a scar of violation and betrayal buried in the host's psyche. The emotional shockwave numbed all restraint, drowning logic in raw, primal fury. Trauma like this didn't reason; it consumed.

His eyes ignited, veins of red fury pulsing. *Zrrrrrcckkk!* Twin beams of searing heat vision lanced out, slamming into Martian Manhunter's chest with explosive force. J'onn flew back again, smoke trailing from his charred uniform, his telepathic senses reeling from the dual assault.

The power surge stunned them anew. "He's... Just arrived, but already he's stronger than us," Superman muttered, awe and dread mingling in his voice. This kid was no mere anomaly—he was a *cataclysm*.

Superman blocked the path once more, gripping the young man's shoulders firmly. "Stop! Don't do this—you're better than this rage!"

Kara echoed him, her voice trembling. "Please, brother... we're family. Don't make us fight you!"

( They're not related, she means brother as in one of their own species she doesn't know his name so she called him that to calm him down.

P.S. they're speaking in kryptonian so the speech script is different. )

He didn't care. Anger boiled over, hot enough to kill, to *mutilate*. Grabbing Superman's neck in a vice-like hold, he roared, "Move!" With a savage twist, he hurled Kal-El crashing into Kara, the two Kryptonians tumbling in a tangle of capes and limbs.

He readied to charge, to end the green intruder. But a crimson blur whipped past—Flash landing a solid jaw-cracking punch. Simultaneously, a green construct like a freight train rammed him from behind, courtesy of Green Lantern. He face-planted into the concrete, pavement spiderwebbing under the impact. Then a glowing lasso snapped around his neck, yanking taut—Wonder Woman's golden rope, unbreakable.

From the skies, a woman with massive bird-like wings dove screaming, her Nth metal mace raised high. "Stand down, beast!" Hawkgirl bellowed, her strike connecting with a thunderous *crack* against his skull.

The League shouted in unison: "Calm down! Enough!"

He almost laughed through the haze of pain and fury. *Bastards corner me like a wild animal, tie me up, and preach calm?* The first mace blow barely budged him—a mere shift of his head inches to the left. Hawkgirl's eyes widened in shock, her feathers ruffling as he turned slowly, his expression a deadpan *Really?* that chilled her to the core.

In a blur, he headbutted her helm, stars exploding in her vision as she reeled. Weakened by the lasso but fueled by hate, he gripped the rope and *pulled*. Wonder Woman stumbled forward, caught off-guard. He seized her face in an iron clamp, her eyes flashing defiance even as he hurled her like a missile into Green Lantern. John caught her instinctively—then a massive chunk of rubble smashed into them both, toppling the pair in a humiliated heap.

Flash pressed his assault, a flurry of super-speed punches raining down. The young man ignored them, striding forward as if brushed by wind. Wally grew frantic. "Stay down !" He wound up for a haymaker—*Gotcha!*—committing fully, his untrained form telegraphing the blow.

It was his mistake. Flash's calm precision mimicked a Wing Chun master's lightning chain punches, elusive and rapid. But this desperate haymaker created a fatal gap, slow as molasses to the young man's heightened senses. He let the fist glance off, seized Wally's wrist, and *snapped* it with a sickening crack. Flash's scream pierced the air—"Aaaagh!"—before a gut-wrenching kick sent him skidding across the street, clutching his ruined arm.

Finally, eyes back on Martian Manhunter, who struggled to rise, chest smoldering, chin bruised from that first chin-shot punch. Disoriented, vulnerable—the green fucker was ripe for the kill.

He advanced slowly, deliberately. Then shadows coalesced—*Batman*. The Dark Knight emerged, utility belt in hand, producing a jagged shard of glowing green kryptonite. The radiation hit like nausea incarnate, sapping strength, buckling knees. *Urghhh... Fuck, kryptonite!* He heaved, gasping, collapsing to all fours. Ten seconds to dismantle the League, yet this caped shadow brought him low?

The team exhaled in collective relief, Batman's scowl unchanging as victory seemed assured.Everyone Exhaled a breath of relief, Thinking the confrontation was over But then young man surged up, backhanding Batman into the ribs with bone-crushing force. The Dark Knight flew, cratering into the ground yards away, cape billowing like a fallen banner.

Every breath caught. "He... he *resisted* kryptonite?!" Flash gasped from the sidelines, wrist limp. The anomaly had become a nightmare—an enraged Kryptonian unbound who could resist kryptonite.
