Chapter 10 - Son of mayor.

They quickly freshened up and left their house. They hailed a taxi and went to the most famous restaurant in the city, owned by the Tianlong Group.

It is said that Tianlong Group has recently changed its owner to a new person, and the new person has 80% of the shares. Their entire business empire is worth more than 1 trillion.

The Tianlong Restaurant was located on the top floor of the Tianlong Hotel, offering a panoramic view of the city skyline. The ambiance was elegant, with soft lighting and tasteful decorations. The tables were spaced apart, providing privacy for the diners.

They were led to a secluded table with a breathtaking view. The menu boasted an array of high-end dishes. Long Aotian simply ordered the Dragon-Pheonix soul and heavenly fragrance wine. The naming was quite strange.

Meanwhile, his mother ordered a simple soup and a small dish of stir-fried vegetables.

When the food arrived, his mother gasped in amazement. The dishes looked exquisite, almost like pieces of art. The presentation was impeccable, with each ingredient carefully arranged to create a visually stunning display.

The aroma wafting from the plates was heavenly, tempting their taste buds and heightening their anticipation.

Long Aotian took his chopsticks and started to eat. He savored each bite, enjoying the explosion of flavors on his tongue. The Dragon-Pheonix dish was a delicate balance of sweet and savory, with a hint of spice that left a pleasant aftertaste.

His mother hesitated at first, but after taking her first bite of the soup, she couldn't stop the smile that spread across her face. The broth was clear and light, yet incredibly flavorful, with each spoonful leaving her wanting more. The stir-fried vegetables were cooked to perfection, retaining their crispness while absorbing just the right amount of seasoning.

"This is delicious," she exclaimed, unable to contain her delight. She couldn't believe how good the food tasted. It was a culinary experience unlike any she had ever had.

However, a young man sitting just beside them couldn't help but mock in disdain, "This bumpkin doesn't even know how to order food. You are here to eat the best, yet you order the worst dishes here," he said loudly enough for everyone to hear. "You must be some farmer who struck gold, to be able to dine here," he added, his tone filled with mockery.

His companion, a woman dressed in expensive yet slutty clothes, giggled at his comment. She found the situation amusing.

Long Aotian sighed. Another fool. He was beginning to think that the world had more fools than smart people.

But he decided not to let the man's words ruin his evening. He ignored the rude man and continued enjoying his meal with his mother. Sometimes you have to be a bigger person.

His mother, however, couldn't ignore the insult. She felt embarrassed and humiliated by the man's words.

She looked at the man with tears in her eyes. "I... I'm sorry if we offended you in any way," she stammered, feeling ashamed. "We didn't mean to disturb your dinner." She apologized, trying to diffuse the situation.

The man sneered at her. "You should be sorry. You don't belong here. This restaurant is for refined people, not farmers like you," he said cruelly. He took pleasure in seeing her flustered.

Before Long Aotian could say anything, a voice spoke from behind the rude man. "Is there a problem here?"

It was the manager of the restaurant. He had a stern expression on his face.

The rude man looked back at him. "Yes, there's a problem. These two don't belong here," he complained, pointing at Long Aotian and his mother. "They don't know how to behave in a fancy restaurant like this. They're ruining the ambiance." He exaggerated.

The manager looked at Long Aotian, then back at the rude man.

"I see. Sir, this is a public restaurant. Everyone is welcome here, regardless of their background. If you have a problem with that, perhaps you should leave," he said firmly, his tone leaving no room for argument.

The rude man's face turned red with anger. He couldn't believe the manager was siding with these "farmers". Outrageous!!! Simply outrageous.

"How dare you speak to me like that!" he yelled, slamming his fist on the table. "Do you know who I am? I'm the son of the mayor!" he boasted, thinking his status would intimidate the manager.

The manager however, remained unfazed.

"I don't care who you are," he replied coolly. "Everyone is equal in this restaurant. If you can't respect other customers, then please leave."

The man's companion tugged at his arm. "Honey, let's just go. It's not worth it," she pleaded, not wanting to cause a scene.

But the man was too prideful to back down.

"No! I'm not leaving until these farmers are kicked out!" he insisted stubbornly.

The manager sighed. He didn't want to resort to this, but the man was leaving him no choice.

He took out his phone and dialed a number.

"Yes, Boss? It's about the table near the window. The guest is being disruptive and refusing to leave..."

Within minutes, two burly men appeared and escorted the rude man and his companion out of the restaurant, much to the amusement of other diners.

The restaurant returned to its peaceful ambiance. Long Aotian and his mother could finally enjoy their meal without any disturbances.

"Sorry for the inconvenience," the manager apologized sincerely. "Please, continue your meal. It's on the house." He bowed slightly.

Long Aotian smiled. "Thank you for your help. We appreciate it," he said gratefully.

His mother nodded in agreement. "Yes, thank you. We're just happy to enjoy our meal in peace."

The manager bowed again before leaving them to their dinner.

Long Aotian felt something was wrong. Shouldn't the manager side with that son of the mayor, and only when Long Aotian shows his money, they both get shocked?

How come the manager simply kicked the son of the mayor? He would definitely make trouble and the hotel might lose millions.

However, the son of the mayor? Good! Good! Good! There was a cold glint in Long Aotian's eyes. You dare make the mother say sorry for no reason?

Good! It's only reasonable that you pay with your worthless life.

After a while, the manager came back with a plate of steamed fish. "Sir, this is the boss's apology. Please, accept it." He said politely.

"Boss?" Long Aotian asked in confusion.

"The boss is the new owner of the Tianlong Group. He personally oversees the restaurant to ensure the quality of service," the manager explained, placing the fish on their table.

Long Aotian raised an eyebrow. What's going on, how come the boss personally sent an apology? Why?

Also, why would the boss personally oversee the restaurant? Something feels fishy here.

Nevertheless, he didn't dwell on it. The fish did look appetizing.

He nodded in thanks and the manager left.

The manager walked to the kitchen and went inside. Inside the kitchen, there was a young man standing in front of a counter. He was tall, with broad shoulders and a well-built physique. His hair was long and tied back, revealing a handsome face with sharp features.

But what caught the manager's attention was the aura around this man. It was an aura of absolute power and authority, like that of a king.

The man turned to face him, a small smile playing on his lips.

"Is everything okay?" he asked, his voice deep and commanding.

The manager nodded respectfully. "Yes, Boss. The matter has been handled. The guests are enjoying their meal," he reported.

The young man nodded, seemingly pleased with the outcome.

Looking at him, no one would think that he is the new chairman of Tianlong Group. He is the one who bought 80% shares of Tianlong company worth 1.2 trillion, and now he is in the kitchen making food?

Forget Medical Saint Ye Chen.

Meet Bai Hao.
