Chapter 17 - Stop Teasing Me or I'll Get Angry

Soon, the servants brought breakfast, and the four of them sat down to eat.

Ye Wanwan looked at Si Yehan beside her, then at Lin Que and Xie Zhezhi across the table.

Sitting at the same table eating with these three shining, imposing figures gave her a particularly surreal feeling.

After all, these three would all become influential figures in their respective fields in the future.

Si Yehan went without saying; he was the future helmsman of the entire Si family.

As for Lin Que, despite looking a bit silly now, he actually came from a prestigious military-political family with impeccable revolutionary credentials; his grandfather was one of the founding elders, General Lin Zhengrong. And seven years later, Lin Que would also be a formidable and influential figure in political circles.

However, since the Ye family was in the entertainment industry, Ye Wanwan was most interested in the film emperor, Xie Zhezhi.

Probably sensing Ye Wanwan's frequent stolen glances in his direction, Xie Zhezhi rested his head sideways on his hand and blinked those soul-stirring peach-blossom eyes at her. "Little Leaf, want an autograph?"

Damn! That look was lethal!

This guy was practically a male fox spirit, no wonder he stole the hearts of girls all across China.

An autograph? Of course she wanted one!

Xie Zhezhi was a future Oscar-winning film emperor! The first Chinese male star to win an Oscar! If she sold his autograph in the future, she could make a fortune!

Even now, Xie Zhezhi had already won countless major awards. He was currently the most popular male star in the entertainment industry, driving girls across China crazy.

Not to mention his personal autograph; even a random phone booth appearing in one of his promotional photos could become a hot tourist spot, with countless fangirls lining up every day to take pictures with the booth.

However, considering a certain someone's possessive nature, Ye Wanwan decisively shook her head.

Keeping another man's autograph? Unless she had a death wish!

Seeing Ye Wanwan's expression—clearly wanting it desperately, but after a glance at Si Yehan, painfully shaking her head—Xie Zhezhi let out a soft laugh. "Little Leaf is so adorable."

Ye Wanwan: "..."

Enough, Actor Xie! Stop teasing me, or I'll get angry! Can't you see your psycho friend's head is practically crowned with a mushroom cloud?

Beside them, Lin Que glanced at Xie Zhezhi and curled his lip disdainfully. "Xie the Third, where's your integrity? You can even flirt with Ye Wanwan..."

Xie Zhezhi gently stroked the rose petals, still bearing dewdrops, in the vase on the table. "All the girls in this world are flowers, and should be cherished and adored."

These words struck a chord with Ye Wanwan. She immediately glared at Lin Que. "Hear that? Learn from him, you single dog!"

Lin Que instantly bristled. "Hey! Who are you calling a single dog! You're the single dog!"

Ye Wanwan turned to look at Si Yehan beside her. "Darling, Lin the Second called me a single dog! What do you think he means by that? Isn't he clearly cursing us to break up?"

When Si Yehan heard Ye Wanwan call him "darling," his gaze paused briefly. Hearing the rest, his cool eyes immediately shot towards Lin Que.

Lin Que instantly shrank back in fear. "Brother Nine, I was wrong, waaah..."

Ye Wanwan, you little snake!

Xie Zhezhi tilted his head towards Si Yehan, his gaze profound as he looked at the girl opposite him with her heavy makeup and green hair. "Oh, Ah Jiu, after not seeing her for a few days, your little girl seems like a completely different person?"

Si Yehan glanced at the girl.

A different person?

The only change was that she had become slightly smarter, found a new way to try and escape him.

Seeing Si Yehan's eyes instantly turn dark and sinister, Xie Zhezhi raised an eyebrow, wearing an expression that seemed to relish stirring up trouble. "Tsk. Since you clearly know her intentions, why still indulge her? This really doesn't seem like your style."

"I'm done! I'm off to school!"

By now, Ye Wanwan had finished her breakfast. Picking up her schoolbag and the suitcase nearby, she said goodbye to Si Yehan.

Just as she was about to leave, she turned back halfway, pattered over to Si Yehan, and with her backpack on, wrapped her soft arms around his neck, planting a loud kiss on the corner of his mouth. "Remember to miss me!"

Having left the three dumbfounded men behind, she then skipped away.

A long moment later, Si Yehan leaned back in his chair, his indifferent eyes glancing at his friend beside him. "See now?"

This was the reason.

The reason he couldn't resist.
