Chapter 10 - The Flying Palace

"System, display my status," Alex commanded, leaning back in his leather chair at the Dragon Bay Villa.

[Host: Alex] [Balance: Infinite] [Tycoon Points: 1,000] [Target Item: Stock Market Crash Card (Cost: 2,000 TP)]

"I need 1,000 more points," Alex muttered. "That means I need to spend massive amounts of money immediately."

He tapped his chin. He had the car (Porsche 918). He had the house (Dragon Bay). What was the next symbol of ultimate power?

He remembered a news article he read about David's father, the CEO of David Corp. The article bragged about his $30 million Bombardier jet.

"A jet," Alex smiled. "If I'm going to destroy his company, I should probably fly over it."

Alex stood up. "Sebastian!".

The butler appeared instantly. "Yes, Master?"

"Prepare the car. We are going to the International Airport. The Private Aviation terminal."

Forty minutes later, the silver Porsche screeched to a halt on the tarmac of the VIP Hangar.

A sales director named Mr. Sterling was waiting. He had been notified that the owner of Dragon Bay No. 1 was coming.

"Mr. Alex!" Sterling bowed, sweating slightly under the hot sun. "It is an honor. Are you looking to charter a flight?"

Alex adjusted his sunglasses. The +35 Charm made Sterling gulp nervously.

"I don't rent, Mr. Sterling," Alex said, walking past him into the hangar. "I buy."

Sterling scrambled to catch up. "Buy? Of course! We have a lovely light jet available for $5 million..."

"Too small," Alex interrupted.

He pointed to the far end of the hangar. There sat a massive, sleek white beast. It was significantly larger than the other planes.

"That one," Alex said. "What is it?"

"That..." Sterling hesitated. "That is the Gulfstream G700. It's the flagship. It just arrived from the factory. It has a master bedroom, a shower, and a conference room. But sir, there is a two-year waiting list."

"Who is the current buyer?" Alex asked.

"Well... it's actually reserved for a Saudi Prince. The price is $75 million."

Alex pulled out his Black Card.

"I'll pay $100 million," Alex said calmly. "Tell the Prince to wait."

Sterling nearly choked on his own tongue. "$100 million? Sir, that's... that's a 33% markup instantly."

"Do I look like I care about the markup?" Alex glared at him. "I want to fly it out of here in one hour. Can you do it, or do I buy the airport instead?"

"I... I can do it! Right away, sir!" Sterling snatched the card as if it were a holy relic.

He ran to the credit terminal.

Alex smirked as he watched the fuel trucks rush toward his new jet.

"Mr. Sterling," Alex called out.

"Yes, Mr. Owner?" Sterling was practically bowing on the floor.

"Paint it black," Alex said. "And put a golden logo on the tail. A fist crushing a snake."

"Consider it done!"

Alex walked up the stairs of his new jet. He sat in the captain's chair and pulled up the System Shop.

He looked at the item that cost 2,000 TP.

[Item: Stock Market Crash Card] [Description: Allows the user to manipulate the stock of a single target company. Causes a 90% drop in value within 24 hours due to "scandal exposure."]

"David," Alex whispered, his finger hovering over the 'Buy' button. "You took my girlfriend. You mocked my poverty. Now... I'm going to take your family's legacy."

[Confirm Purchase?]

"Confirm."
