Chapter 5 - Chapter 5, Part 5: Sending Bedding

Regarding Grandmaster, Luo didn't really have any feelings; he neither liked nor disliked him.

Luo's personality leaned towards lawful neutrality; unless someone actively provoked him, he generally wouldn't dislike that person for no reason.

If someone was kind to him, Luo would be kind to that person in return—Jack the Village Chief was the best example.

Regardless of Grandmaster's character, whether good or bad, kind or evil, since

he hadn't offended Luo, Luo naturally wouldn't target Grandmaster for no reason.

Not long after, Luo bought two bedding sets at a store, one of which was actually for Xiao Wu.

Luo knew about the relationship between Tang San and Xiao Wu from their first meeting in the work-study dormitory, when Xiao Wu hadn't prepared a blanket beforehand and insisted on sleeping in the same bed with Tang San.

Luo preparing a blanket for Xiao Wu wasn't to forcefully pursue her; rather, he was interested in Xiao Wu's physical structure.

That's right, Luo was attracted to Xiao Wu's body.

As a surgical medical student in his previous life, Luo naturally had a considerable understanding of human anatomy.

He wanted to use the power of the Op-Op Fruit to thoroughly study Xiao Wu's body, to see how the physical structure of a human formed from a 100,000-year

-old soul beast differed from that of true humans. Why was it that, before reaching level 70, the true identity of a 100,000-year-old soul beast could be detected by experts at the Soul Douluo level or higher? Furthermore

  , Luo had a far-fetched idea—

could he use the Op-Op Fruit's power to secretly extract Xiao Wu's 100,000-year-old soul bone without harming her life?

Soon, Luo, carrying two sets of bedding, went to the academic affairs office to register. After receiving a set of academy uniform, he went to the work-study dormitory, following the directions given to him by the master.

At this moment, Tang San had already arrived at Dormitory Seven, the work-study dormitory, and, just like in the original story, defeated Wang Sheng to become the leader of Dormitory Seven.

Seeing Luo enter carrying two sets of bedding, Wang Sheng, unaware that he and Tang San were from the same village, came over to give him a hard time.

"Hey, new work-study student, hurry up and pay your respects to our Dormitory Seven leader."

Wang Sheng walked up to Luo, looking down at him condescendingly, while pointing to Tang San not far away, indicating that Luo should go and acknowledge Tang San as their leader.

Luo glanced at Wang Sheng, completely ignoring him, and went straight to an empty bed by the window, placing the two sets of bedding on it.

Wang Sheng, seeing that he had been openly ignored, couldn't help but feel angry, and several veins popped out on his forehead.

He had just clenched his right fist, ready to punch Luo, when Tang San suddenly spoke up: "Alright, Wang Sheng, Luo is from the same village as me, don't bully him."

Hearing Tang San's words, Wang Sheng glanced at Luo in surprise, but ultimately lowered his raised fist and instead extended his hand to Luo, apologetically saying,

"I'm sorry, Luo, my name is Wang Sheng. I didn't expect you to be from the same village as the boss. I apologize for my earlier rudeness, I hope you won't take it to heart."

Seeing Wang Sheng's initiative to be friendly, Luo didn't mind that Wang Sheng had almost punched him earlier. He was always like this; he was friendly to those who were friendly to him.

So Luo also extended his right hand, shook hands with Wang Sheng, and introduced himself: "My name is Luo, and like Tang San, I'm from Holy Soul Village. My martial soul is called Yama, it's a long sword, and my innate soul power is level seven."

  "Innate soul power level seven?"

Upon hearing this, Wang Sheng stared at Luo in utter astonishment, his face contorted with disbelief as if he had seen a monster.

"How come all the work-study students from your Holy Soul Village are monsters!"

After holding it in for a while, Wang Sheng finally blurted out,

"The boss just said that his martial soul is not only Blue Silver Grass, but also has innate full soul power! I thought the boss was already a monster, but I didn't expect your innate soul power, Luo, to be so high, reaching level seven!"

Just then, a clear, crisp voice rang out at the door.

"Hello, is this the work-study student dormitory?"

Everyone looked towards the voice and saw a pretty, pink-cheeked little girl standing at the door, about the same height as Luo.

Her delicate pink face was rosy and fair, like a blooming, vibrant peach blossom, and her long, dark hair was tied into a scorpion braid that reached her thighs.

Although the little girl was simply dressed, she exuded a rare youthful aura, which, combined with her beautiful face, made her incredibly adorable.

Who else could it be but a young Xiao Wu?

Wang Sheng, standing beside Luo, stared wide-eyed the moment he saw Xiao Wu, only snapping back to reality when Luo coughed softly beside him.

Luo, having seen countless people in his past life, had never seen a little loli like Xiao Wu, and naturally wouldn't wear the idiotic expression of someone who'd never seen anything like Wang Sheng.

Besides, Luo's true type was mature women and older women; he wasn't really "interested" in loli-type girls.

Of course, if a pretty loli girl wanted to "spend time" with him, Luo wouldn't refuse.

What happened next in Dormitory Seven

was that Tang San challenged Xiao Wu to a sparring match, but was carelessly defeated, making Xiao Wu the new leader of Dormitory Seven.

A teacher named Mohen, entrusted by the Grandmaster, came to deliver a quilt to Tang San and also explained many precautions for the work-study students.

After Teacher Mohen left Dormitory Seven, Luo suddenly spoke up:

"Xiao Wu, I see you don't have any bedding yet, right? I originally bought two bedding sets, one of which was for Tang San. Now that he has bedding, you can have his."

Xiao Wu had initially instinctively wanted to snuggle under Tang San's bedding because of the hidden soul beast aura within him.

Hearing Luo's offer, she readily accepted the bedding and spread it out on a bed not far from him.

Only then did Xiao Wu get a clear look at Luo's face, and a feeling of utter amazement welled up within her.

Luo's skin was very white, but not the unhealthy kind; rather, it was a soft, moonlit ivory white with a faint yellow tinge.

His face was handsome, his eyes clear and bright like a still river, his figure elegant and graceful, and his black, tousled hair as black and lustrous as obsidian.
