I don't know why I was fuming although how could Steve hold Cali so close ,once she left, I sat down and gulped down a glass of vodka then Hindley poured another for me.
"If she's your girlfriend then who is this mysterious fake babe"Hindley asked excitedly and Steve was looking,paying rapt attention probably expecting me to spill shit so he would deliver a blow on my face and I scoffed then drank a little of the content in my cup.
"Well,Cali and u have been secretly dating for a long time now but I don't want her to be hurt by what mum might say so I decided to get a fake girlfriend to act like her but on a second thought since I love her so much, I am taking the risk of showing her to mum and we are getting married no matter what "is said and rounded up my fake explanation and Hindley nodded satisfied at my decision ,Jason was taken aback but tried not to show it while Steve had a dreaded look on his face.
"What of your I don't have time for commitment all ladies are the same rule "Steve suddenly asked and raised his head with a smug plastered on his face an I chuckled lightly with a cup of vodka in my hands I was staring at the view of the front porch from the bar then I turned sharply to Steve looking him straight in the eye and smirked
"Cali is different from everyother women, she is my sunshine and the sweetest thing that ever happened to me. She's mu ideal woman and the love of my life and she has never betrayed our love and trust and our relationship has no end not in this life or another "I replied bragging and Steve clenched his fist and stood up
"I think I have to leave now,I forgot I have a proposal am working on which has to be done before tomorrow "Steve said and left without waiting for our reactions or response then Hindley followed him since he didn't bring his car and their apartment where close. I sighed releasing the breath o never knew i was holding all along.
"Oh my jeez,at first I thought i was the king of lies but know i realised am still learning where you are "Jason exclaimed and i scoffed
"What would you have had me do,with the look of things, Steve and Cali has history together and if I didn't lie with the look on Steve face, he might spill and destroy whole planning sod and Jason nodded
"At a point I almost believed your lie and thought that plans had changed "he said and I cracked then he glanced at his watch
"Well man I've got to run my girlfriend is home and if I fuck up there might be no coming back from it.m"he explains digging his hands in his hair and I laughed
"Good thing you have a rope tieing you. You've yot a hook on your head bro,bye and send my greetings to Eva "I said and he took his jacket and left.
Soon ,heard the screeching of a car and he left my mansion , I took a last guy of the vodka in my cup and dropped it. I stared at the stairs lazily and climbed up. I stopped at her door which was opposite mine and peeked in, she was fast asleep like some sleeping fairy and I closed her door retiring to my room.
