Giratina...
The Hisui region...
Hiroshi thought, and gradually the answer crystallized in his heart. The biggest conspirator and villain associated with Giratina is...
Hiroshi glanced around. Then, he spotted a man on the ground dressed as a traveling merchant from the Ginkgo Guild.
"It turns out to be him, the traveling merchant Volo!"
"In fact, he is a direct descendant of the ancient Sinnoh people and knows much about the mythical Pokémon."
"He even knew that the real Master of Sinnoh was Arceus."
"The recent violent transformations of Dialga and Palkia are definitely related to him. He used the power of Giratina!"
Dealing with a villain... Hiroshi saw no reason to be polite; in fact, he couldn't afford to be.
"Jirachi, Meloetta, Cresselia!" He called out three legendary Pokémon at once.
"Instill all your spiritual power into me!"
"Okay, Hiroshi!" Cresselia, the eldest sister, took the lead by gathering her telekinesis. Jirachi and Meloetta followed suit. Each of the three Mythical Pokémon surged with a wave of superpower.
Hiroshi's body acted like a container absorbing the superpowers. Fortunately, he possessed the Power of Aura to mediate and coordinate the energy. Otherwise, he would have been overwhelmed by the conflicting origins of the three beasts and exploded instantly.
"Psychic!!"
Hiroshi acted as a relay and fusion station. Furthermore, the power that burst forth was not a simple addition; it was a multiplication of force!
"Boom!!"
Shadow followed closely. As soon as she arrived, she saw Hiroshi's body shrouded in a faint purple light. At the same time, a massive wave of psychic energy blasted out like a scorching sun.
Volo, the traveling merchant on the ground, was stunned. "What the hell? Hitting a trainer directly with an ultimate move? Is there anyone as ungrateful to martial ethics as you?"
Volo was confused. Hiroshi had appeared too suddenly, and his move was thrown too fast—no nonsense, just momentum. Fortunately, the shadow that Giratina transformed into stood in front of Volo just in time. The psychic beam exploded. A hurricane-like force passed through, causing Volo to stumble back, his head buzzing and blood trickling from his ears and nose.
"Roar!!"
Giratina was forced to emerge from its signature move, Shadow Force. At this time, the mythical Pokémon bore scars from the psychic strangulation. If it hadn't been forced to protect Volo, the merchant likely would have been killed. Giratina usually maintains a shadow state that makes it hard to hit, but even the most powerful output is zero if it can't connect.
Giratina trembled when it saw blood pouring from Volo. This human needed urgent treatment, or the psychic bombardment would cause permanent disability. Thinking of this, Giratina had no intention of fighting. It moved its body, wanting to take Volo away.
"Zekrom, help me stop it!" Hiroshi commanded with heavy breathing.
Suddenly, a massive black dragon descended, its tail glowing with blue electrical energy. "I hear you, Hiroshi. This dragon shall not escape," Zekrom's voice boomed, resonating in the minds of everyone present.
Giratina glanced back with disdain. A human? Killing a god with a dragon? Are you kidding me...
But suddenly, Giratina's expression froze. Panic filled its eyes. Beside the black dragon, Raiden Shogun, named Shadow, no longer suppressed her role as the ruler of Inazuma. Her divine power was as thick as a rumbling thundercloud. She slowly pulled the blade, Musou Isshin, from her chest.
Click!
Behind her, a giant Eye of Stormy Judgment appeared. This massive vertical pupil stared at the escaping Giratina. This was the sword of the Musou no Hitotachi. In Inazuma's history, it is recorded that the snake god Orobashi was slain by this blade, leaving behind the Musoujin Gorge. The Thunderbird Kanna Kapatcir was also struck down by its power.
Shadow and Zekrom were a terrifying duo. Giratina sensed the danger. "Shadow Force!" It used its exclusive trick again. Carrying Volo, its huge body vanished.
But the sword was too fast!
The sky above the Hisui region seemed to be sliced open. Thunderclouds gathered, and deafening thunder shook the area. Giratina looked back in disbelief; it was actually forced out of its "disappearing" state! A deep cut appeared on its body, and blood gushed out. While not a fatal blow, Giratina was in a terrible state.
At that moment, a Master Ball hit it with pinpoint accuracy. A Mythical Pokémon is still a Pokémon. The Poké Ball is a technological creation, but it functions like a container of rules. Even a god like Giratina cannot resist the suction of the ball when the switch is pressed.
"Roar!" It resisted to no avail, turning into a ray of light. The ball hit the floor, shaking violently.
Ding dong, ding dong. It shook twice before the Master Ball burst open. Giratina escaped again using Shadow Force. Shadow had expected this. Her purple braid flew, and she struck with a second sword. Zekrom added a burst of blue lightning to the strike.
"Roar!!" Huge cries of pain echoed. This time, the wound almost penetrated its entire body. A second Master Ball followed the movement, hitting Giratina accurately. The ball landed and struggled.
Hiroshi held his breath. "Shadow, Zekrom, if it breaks free again, keep attacking. Be as ruthless as necessary."
Zekrom looked at the ball and spoke to the group, "It is reaching its limit. The rules of this world are absolute."
This time, the shaking was slow. Ding... dong! The light on the Master Ball dimmed. Giratina was caught!
"Conquered!?" Hiroshi's heart jumped, and his face turned red with excitement. This was a Mythical Pokémon!
Giratina, inside the Master Ball, was fuming. "Your human luck is infuriating!" it seemed to project. It looked through the sphere at Raiden Ei, who stood with her sword drawn, and shook with fear. This "human" was a living god.
Hiroshi took deep breaths and thanked Shadow and Zekrom. He knew that while the Master Ball has a guaranteed catch rate, Mythical Pokémon are anomalies. Reducing it to residual health was the key to ensuring the capture held.
Hiroshi pulled out his Pokedex, which looked like a sleek smartphone provided by the Pokémon Popularization System. He checked the data. He was amazed; Shadow's combat power was truly top-tier, perhaps second only to Morax among the Archons.
Hiroshi had officially obtained Giratina's Pokedex entry. He looked at Zekrom and said, "We did it."
Zekrom nodded, its voice deep and calm. "A powerful ally, though a grumpy one. Shall we return to the shop?"
