It was already two in the morning by the time they got back to Emma's house. The night market was unusually crowded that evening. Bringing Julien along turned out to be the right decision because there was no way the four of them could handle that many orders on their own.
Everything had been neatly packed and stored inside the house. Emma, Louis, and Elara had already fallen asleep in their beds. They were exhausted. Lydia and Julien were the only two people still awake. They sat by the front door, staring at the empty street.
After about five minutes of silence, Julien broke the ice.
"When I was looking at the GPS in this area, I noticed a park that is famous for its sunrise view. It shouldn't be too far away from here." He looked at Lydia and smiled. "Will you walk with me?"
Lydia let out a chuckle. "Are you seriously asking me to walk in the middle of the night to a park and then wait for the sunrise?"
"Yeah. Come on, it'll be fun."
