Naruto did not wake for three days.
Konoha stood still.
Sakura never left his side—not for food, not for rest, not even for their child until Tsunade forced her to hold them.
"He needs you alive too," Tsunade said gently.
Sakura pressed her face into her child's hair and cried until she thought she might shatter.
"I don't know how to do this without him," she whispered.
The child gurgled softly, tiny hand gripping her finger.
And in that small, fragile strength, Sakura found something fierce.
When Naruto finally woke, it was to Sakura holding their child over him, tears streaming silently down her face.
"Meet your reason to stay," she whispered.
Naruto broke.
He sobbed openly, clutching them both as if the world might try to steal them again.
