Jaiden woke up to a crash. Clawdine sat in the middle of the room surrounded by fallen books. "GOOD MORNING," he said. "I reorganised." "You destroyed my shelf!" "The top half is neat." Jaiden rubbed his face. "Why do you follow me everywhere?" "Because I can," Clawdine said. "Also, no one else would tolerate your disasters." Clawdine appeared behind Jaiden. "Those flakes are tragic." "You don't even eat!" "Still allowed opinions." Jaiden locked the door. His reflection moved. "I'M CALLING THE POLICE." "Mirrors are flexible," Clawdine said. "You should know that." "This is illegal everywhere." Clawdine sat on Jaiden's notebook. "This is boring." "I WILL SCREAM." "Again?" After hours of chaos, Jaiden collapsed. "You're bad at magic," Clawdine said quietly. "But you don't quit." Jaiden blinked. "…Thanks." Clawdine vanished. Jaiden felt… oddly steadier.
