The Tower of Sight stood in stark white under the ribbon of light.
It was the cleanest of the towers so far. Smooth stone. No shifting walls. No obvious threat. That made the group more cautious, not less.
Orin stopped them a short distance from the entrance.
"This one does not attack the body," she said. "It attacks the mind. Every person who enters will be shown the moment they most regret and forced to live it again. You cannot skip it. You cannot close your eyes and wait it out. The only way forward is to walk through the memory until the tower is satisfied. The seed at the top sharpens every sense the carrier already has. The adjustment is usually difficult."
She looked at the group.
"Some of you will come out quieter than you went in. That is normal. Do not force conversation afterward if it is not ready."
No one spoke. They simply nodded and moved toward the white doors.
The doors opened on their own.
