Chapter 7 - When the Leash Snapped:The Principal’s Offer

The academy was still reeling from the dungeon incident when Liam was summoned again.

This time, there were no elders.

No observers.

Only Principal Arvane.

They stood atop the highest spire, the city far below them, mana currents flowing calmly around the older man like obedient streams.

"You've already outgrown the academy's beginner framework," Arvane said quietly. "Keeping you here without direction would be… irresponsible."

Liam remained silent.

Arvane turned. For the first time, he let a fraction of his true pressure leak.

The air stilled.

A Peak Eight Transformation.

The gap was absolute.

"I do not take disciples lightly," Arvane continued. "But I will give you an opportunity."

A mission tablet formed between them.

you have to complete an mission you have to complete an begginer dungeon , dont get excited because level of dungeon is hell level so be prepared to face challenge,

at that time an mission pannel popped up

Liam looked at the tablet.

"A beginner dungeon," he said. "At hell difficulty."

Arvane nodded. "A lie in name only. Its danger exceeds most intermediate zones."

"And if I fail?"

"You survive," Arvane replied. "Or you prove I was wrong."

Liam smiled faintly.

"When do I leave?"

Hell-Level Beginner Dungeon

The dungeon gate swallowed Liam whole.

The moment he entered—

The system screamed.

Mana density spiked violently. The environment twisted, corrupted by forced difficulty escalation. Monster spawn rates multiplied. Elite variants roamed freely.

This was not a trial.

It was an execution ground.

Liam stepped forward.

"Full suppression lifted," he whispered.

The Red Core pulsed.

Fifteen Minutes of Erasure

The dungeon didn't last.

Monsters rushed him in waves—crushed.

Elites appeared—destroyed.

He didn't dodge.

He didn't retreat.

He walked forward, fists ending lives faster than the system could register deaths.

The Elite Boss emerged at minute twelve.

A towering aberration fused from multiple monster cores, roaring with unstable mana.

Liam didn't slow.

One strike.

Red Core–enhanced.

The boss imploded.

The dungeon trembled, then collapsed inward.

Return to the Dormitory

Liam exited the gate without ceremony.

No audience.

No announcement.

Just quiet.

He returned to his dormitory, showered, changed clothes, and sat on his bed for the first time since morning.

Death Sense was calm.

Too calm.

"That's odd," the undead legion mage murmured from his shadow.

Liam stood.

The air shifted.

Five figures stepped out of concealment within the dormitory corridor.

First Transformation Experts.

Veterans.

No killing intent.

Only suppression and capture protocols.

Liam exhaled.

"So Kael chose tonight."

The Assassination Attempt

They moved perfectly.

Mana restraints. Terrain control. Precision strikes designed to cripple—not kill.

They were ordered not to kill him.

That order cost them everything.

Death Sense detonated.

The Red Core responded instantly.

"Engage," Liam said.

The undead legion mage manifested fully.

The corridor became a slaughterhouse.

One assassin died before he realized Liam had moved.

Another tried to flee.

A third begged.

None survived.

Five bodies collapsed.

Five souls consumed.

Blood soaked the stone.

Rage Given Direction

Liam stood still.

Breathing slow.

Controlled.

"They were sent by Kael," the mage confirmed.

"I know," Liam replied.

then liam turned all the assassin into his dead mages .

after that liam changed Death Sense pulsed violently now.

Not as danger.

As direction.

Kael House.

Liam turned.

"Prepare for full combat," he said.

"This will escalate beyond the academy," the mage warned.

Liam's eyes glowed red.

"He already crossed that line."

Kael House Burns

The Kael estate fell in minutes.

Barriers shattered.

Guards died.

Family members screamed.

For Liam—

It was easy.

Until the pressure descended.

Kael

Second Transformation mana flooded the estate.

Kael stood amid the ruins, eyes cold.

"You butchered my family."

"You sent assassins into my home," Liam replied. "This ends here."

Kael noticed the undead mage.

Realized the truth.

"A necromancer," he hissed.

The world broke.

Second Transformation vs Second Transformation

Kael was terrifying.

Refined.

Absolute.

He nearly killed Liam twice.

But Liam was not alone.

Undead mage and master fought together.

Dark mana clashed with refined cultivation.

The final exchange shattered Kael's core.

He fell.

Liam ended it.

The Kael bloodline vanished that night.

Elsewhere — The Principal

Principal Arvane stood at his window as alarms echoed across the city.

Reports flooded in.

Estate destroyed.

Second Transformation dead.

Political chaos imminent.

He sighed.

"…My disciple has created a huge mess," Arvane said calmly.

A faint smile appeared.

"I suppose I'll have to clear it.
