Claire trailed her fingers on Hunter's chest. Hunter hugged her refusing to let go.
"So, which title are you giving me now that we have reached this far?"
"You are my boyfriend. "
Hunter wanted to tell her that he had fallen for her and that he wanted to stay by her side and protect her forever, but he did not have the guts to tell her. Claire too wanted to tell her how she felt for him, but she too didn't have the guts to do so. Claire had not slept well the day before; she was used to Hunter sleeping beside her and Hunter was not around the night before. She kept on tossing on the bed. Tonight, with Hunter by her side, she slept fast. Hunter felt her even breathing. He fell asleep after her.
Hunter heard his phone ringing and picked it up lazily. He didn't even check the caller ID.
"Hello. "
Mr. Miller's angry voice came from the other end of the phone. "Where are you right now? Do you know what time it is, and you are not here yet?" Hunter looked at the time and saw it was 12 pm.
Claire was woken up by the noise from the phone. She was already annoyed. "So noisy. " She said without opening her eyes.
Mr. Miller heard Claire's voice on Hunter's side. "Are you with Miss Phillips? "
Before Hunter could answer, Claire snatched his phone from him.
"You like shouting at people very much. You won't get your bonus for this month. " She hung up immediately.
Mr. Miller hit his forehead. Why didn't he tell him that he was with the president? If he knew, then he wouldn't begin shouting. This month's bonus was gone.
Hunter looked at Claire hugging him tightly. "You're so cool. "
"Shut up. Let's continue sleeping."
"It is already noon. Let's wake up. "
"I want us to continue sleeping." Claire shut her eyes and tightened her grip on Hunter.
"I'm going to take a shower. "
"No. We are going to sleep. '
Hunter found this side of Claire to be sweet and cute. He scooped her up and went to the bathroom and placed her in the bathtub. Once water was on ger body, she woke up really fast and got annoyed, but her face changed when she saw Hunter before her. She also blushed when she saw him naked before him. They took a shower together.
They were done with everything and went to have their lunch. After lunch, Griffin came to them. He handed the sweater to Hunter.
"I thought you said you had my sweater thrown away. "
"Yeah. He burnt it. " She said showing him a video of it being burned.
"Why did you burn it. "
"I forgot to tell you something yesterday. My things are mine. I don't like sharing my stuff. Don't ever allow any woman to touch you. I'm very possessive. " She said then leaned in and kissed him.
"Got it. " He wanted to call her babe but swallowed his words. He didn't know how she would react.
Griffin was standing there and got a chance to see his boss get all lovey Dovey.
"What are you still doing here?"
"Your employees are here already. I didn't allow them in. "
"Do you know what to say?"
"I know. "
