The night sky of Tokyo was still shrouded in neon lights and the aroma of ramen from small alleys.
Zarabis, or now known as "Reiji Ren", walked slowly on the sidewalk while staring at the traffic lights changing colors.
"Interesting... these creatures wait for the light to cross the street, even though they could shatter gravity itself."
He glanced left and right. People were staring at him strangely of course they were.
His black hair was messy, his red eyes glowed faintly like error LEDs.
And his shirt read "I AM HUMAN, TRUST ME" which he had created from thin air just 2 minutes earlier.
"I thought this was enough to blend in," he muttered proudly.
Suddenly a voice came from behind.
"Hey, cool cosplay, dude!"
Reiji turned quickly. "COSPLAY?! I AM "
Then he stopped. Remembering he was in disguise.
"A professional cosplayer," he said flatly but elegantly.
Inside his mind: I almost destroyed the reputation of 12 realities because of a high school kid.
As he walked again, a girl with long blonde hair Yuka Naichi suddenly appeared.
Her blue armor gleamed, and her sword emitted a soft glow.
Her face was stern, but her hands were busy... playing on her phone.
"Hmm.... the mission rating is only B now? Ugh, this guild system is so annoying..."
Reiji was transfixed.
Dark eyes, confident posture, holy energy swirling around her. But... she was scrolling through TikTok?
"Is this what heroes are like now?" he muttered, half amazed and half confused.
He approached slowly.
"You... are a powerful being, aren't you?"
Yuka looked up slightly, still holding her phone.
"Huh? Oh, you're the one from the viral trash can video the other day?"
Reiji froze. "...WHAT?"
Yuka pointed to her phone screen—a short video titled: "DEVIL COSPLAYER STUCK IN TOKYO TRASH CAN"
"You're famous, you know. People call you the 'Trash Demon'. Cool, right?"
Reiji: "....."
Inside his mind: I, the architect of realities, am now known as... Trash Demon.
Just as Reiji was about to explain, an aura suddenly appeared in the distance a silhouette watching them from atop a building.
Mijarun, his energetic younger sister, was watching while eating grilled corn she'd gotten through a portal.
"My brother is really... so handsome. But... he looks so lost, doesn't he?"
She lowered her head slightly.
"Well, but it's funny to see him act human. Hehe~ maybe I'll tease him a little~"
Reiji suddenly looked up at the sky.
Something in his mind whispered softly...
"Perhaps... this world is interesting too... but why do humans record all their foolishness?"
He glanced at Yuka, who was taking a selfie with the caption: #MetTheTrashDemonTonight 😍🔥
Reiji covered his face.
"This world... is more dangerous than nihilistic chaos itself."
That night, Tokyo felt warmer than usual. The city lights flickered gently, and the wind carried the scent of takoyaki from a street corner.
Zarabis, or by his human name Reiji, walked casually along the roadside while sipping canned coffee.
"Hmph... humans have strange technology. They boil bitter liquid, put it in metal containers, then call it... 'refreshing'."
He took another sip.
"...it tastes like the energy of disappointment."
Next to him, Yuka walked quickly while wiping her forehead.
"Reiji... can't you go one day without talking like an alien?"
Reiji just stared at the sky.
"I am learning. It seems humans do not like it when you discuss existential emptiness at a bakery."
Yuka sighed.
"Of course not!"
A few minutes later, a girl with long silver hair appeared in the distance, running and waving her hands.
"Brother~!!"
Reiji froze immediately. His eyes widened.
Mijarun...? Here...?
Yuka looked confused.
"Brother...?"
And before Reiji could react, Mijarun leaped forward and hugged him tightly.
Her face was bright, her eyes sparkling with joy like a child who'd just found their favorite toy.
"Finally found you! My brother who's too busy learning to be human~!"
Yuka was half shocked to death.
"EH?! Who is this?! A pretty girl suddenly hugging a guy on the street?!"
Reiji just stood still, his expression flat but clearly panicked.
Mijarun then quickly composed herself her face turned serious for a moment, staring at Yuka sharply but gently.
"I'm his sister, Mijarun. We... just reunited after a long time apart. My brother is a bit... unique. But he's kind."
She added softly with a slight smile:
"Don't get the wrong idea though he is a bit... mysterious~"
Yuka was silent for a moment, then smiled awkwardly.
"O-Oh... okay. Sorry, I thought you... well, you know... the cold playboy type."
Reiji:
"I don't even know what a 'playboy' is."
Mijarun: "DON'T ANSWER THAT SERIOUSLY, BROTHER!!"
🕒 20 Days Later
Time passed quickly.
Zarabis had started to get used to life in Tokyo. He learned to sweep floors, ride trains, and even wait in line to buy ramen ("this concept of waiting... tests the patience of gods," he'd said at the time).
Yuka visited often, and Mijarun always acted as the "bridge to normality" between them.
But on the 20th night...
The atmosphere was different.
Tokyo's sky was dark. The wind was cold. Yuka stood in a park, staring at the city lights with a serious expression.
"Reiji… I just want to say…"
"I like you."
Silence.
Reiji only stared at her, a small smile appearing on his face one that felt gentle yet... distant.
"Yuka… you are a strong and sincere girl. But... my feelings cannot mimic those of humans."
The smile was like a soft blade. Not cruel, but slowly shattering all the same.
Yuka lowered her head. "...I see."
A few hours later...
Mijarun was alone at home, playing on her phone while eating ice cream.
"Brother's out for a night walk again… hmm, probably with Yuka-san. Hehe~"
Suddenly the door creaked open.
Yuka stood there, her expression cold, her sharp eyes fixed forward as she gripped her blue sword once peaceful-looking, now menacing.
"Sorry, Mijarun… but I have to do this. Because of you... he rejected me."
Mijarun stopped staring at her phone.
"Huh?"
As Yuka stepped forward slowly, the air in the room grew heavy. But Mijarun only smiled softly.
"If that's the case… let's see how far you dare to go against an entity born from eternal chaos, Yuka."
And as the sword pierced her chest,
the smile never faded.
Mijarun's body slowly fell, but there was no blood only a faint glow.
Yuka was transfixed. Her hands trembled.
"What... what is this...?"
And from the darkness, slow footsteps could be heard.
Reiji arrived with glowing red eyes.
"I knew everything that would happen."
Zarabis had known from the start that Yuka would try to kill Mijarun if he rejected her feelings and since Zarabis did not understand love or such emotions, nor was he capable of desire, he had prepared for this.
From the moment they'd become friends, Zarabis had unlocked his Omniscience ability his eyes held the power to see infinite pasts and futures without limit. The DEZON-X eyes were the deadliest of his powers, which he used only once in his lifetime due to their danger beyond all concepts and non-concepts.
Zarabis used Omniscience and learned everything in just one millisecond, then told Mijarun with nothing more than a look. Together, they had planned every step.
And now, the time had come.
His flat voice turned cold, but not angry.
"Yuka... you dared to raise your sword against my sister. In front of your creator."
The space around him trembled. Dimensions split apart.
Power Output: 00000.00005%.
One step. One strike.
A flash of light shook the world.
Yuka vanished from all narrative, concept, and dimension as reality shattered like broken glass.
Tokyo's reality crumbled... and the two beings, Zarabis and Mijarun, were pulled into a vortex of emptiness.
Zarabis and Mijarun arrived in a new reality one fragile enough that Zarabis had to lower his power output beforehand, lest it shatter immediately.
They looked out at what was called the "Other World"one with many different races.
Still disguised as Reiji Ren, Zarabis told Mijarun to stay alert and keep her guard up this world seemed to have many villains, and he sensed gods and goddesses watching them as "newly appeared beings". The deities believed Zarabis and Mijarun had died in their previous world (with no way to know the truth), but Zarabis didn't care as long as they didn't harm his sister.
Their journey had begun to explore this new world, discover new things, and find new friends (as Zarabis put it).
