Tetsu pierced through the doors of the warehouse and stood underneath the flickering lights. He stood at the center where he could see the four students of Tattalia High. He let out a smug as he saw the students of Takashi's body lying around helplessly on the floor.
"So you finally came now. Tetsu". A voice said and Tetsu felt a hand go around his neck. He turned slowly to see Midorima.
"Is that you…Midorima? Tetsu said excited. Midorima rubbed his hand on his head softly and smiled.
"You thought I would never come from my trip to Europe? Well surprise! He said, and they both laughed.
Amongst the group were also three other students of Tattalia. Jon Gentosa (04), he sat at the far end corner and glared at Tetsu. Unlike Tetsu, he had a muscular body, heavy tattoos and was taller. Another person, who was there was a teenager, who was sucking on a lollipop and blocked his ears with headphones. He looks smaller than Jon, and barely talked. He was a sweet addicted teen, who would use his eyes most times to establish conversations because his mouth was busy getting stuffed with candy. Since he was anti-social, most of the group were bare to him, except he was done licking his sweet. His name was Aki (05). The next teen had a shark tooth, nasty attitude and barely was a fan of smiley face. He looked ill-tempered and wasn't a fan of Tetsu. Most of all, he had just upgraded his rank recently to number (16). His name was Pa bong, the elder brother of Pa Kong, who was defeated earlier by Hobin.
"Damn…you guys are done with your fight. I was hoping it would drag until I could get here." Tetsu wailed out in a pitiful voice.
"What do you take us as…a bunch of weaklings? Pa bong snapped and looked at Tetsu.
"Weaklings? No! You guys are quite strong, judging by your ranks. However…". He paused and made them all wonder what he wanted to say. "If you weren't all weak, shouldn't you be in number one by now? He asked and let out a nasty smug again.
"Fascinating question". Midorima said and stared at him. Midorima was clearly his favorite, since they grew up together. He was 6.5 ft tall and a very long hair that cover his face sometimes. Midorima always made fun of Tetsu for being short and basically pampered him like he was a baby. Midorima was ranked at number (3) by the school. One of the closet to Tetsu, who was at (2).
"I see you are back as well…Tetsu." Jon said in a soft voice.
"Yeah. I saw the fighting that took place on the roof. It was so cool…I would die to be there real life. I love it! Tetsu squealed like a little girl in a concert.
"Okay…Quiet down now, Tetsu. The last thing I want is to get you some energy bars after your battery run out." Midorima said and rubbed his head again.
"Hey…stop that. I am not a kid anymore." Tetsu bragged.
"Who said…you're my kid". Midorima replied and threw his hand on his head again, squeeze it.
"Help! Somebody help me". Tetsu screamed out in a girly voice. Jon and Midorima let out a wild laugh at Tetsu for squealing like a girl.
"Shut up! A loud thud sound was heard and both of them stopped playing immediately. Everyone turned to see Pa bong gnashing his teeth. "You call us weaklings. What do you know about number 1. For me…I'd say he is a coward. He hides in the shadows, speaks through a speaker at every meeting. He is never there for us to even challenge him. A loser is what he is".
"A loser? Hmm…". Tetsu rubbed his chin and thought to himself. "True, no one has seen what he looks like before. Even him that is number (2) hasn't seen what (1) can do. He attends the meeting set by number (1), but he doesn't show up. He only talks through a speaker." Tetsu said and looked at Midorima.
"Can you remember how he became number (1)? Can any of you remember?
"Oh, I was there in school that day". Aki said immediately and stuffed more candy in his mouth to stop himself from talking.
"Still got that stupid candy addiction? Midorima asked, looking disappointed.
"Same way you got an addiction for Tetsu". Aki snapped back immediately and stuffed his face in more candy.
"Well. Who wouldn't love his chubby face?" Midorima said, and Jon chuckled.
"Yeah. I remember…". Pa bong interrupted and drew them back to the hotline topic.
"There was an announcement ordering everyone to come to the gym. The entire student gathered and suddenly boomed he walked in and declared himself number (1). Then the system ranking started. After that, no one tell him again. He never fought, he just looked at us all and thought he was better than any of us. Such a coward".
"Now that I think of it. You should shut up". Tetsu said in a cold voice. His hair slid down and cover his eyes. Midorima's eyes widened, and he shifted away from Tetsu immediately.
"I think we should all take a break". Jon muttered and looked at Pa bong, who ignored his gaze. The intensity was increasing and both of them could feel a fight warming up.
"What did you just say to me, you little-". His sentence was immediately cut off by Tetsu.
"Need I remind you that amongst all of us here, I am the highest and you are the lowest?" He said and heard him gnash his teeth. "When I shut up. I mean zip it up and shove the trash you wanna say down your ugly fat throat."
"You little shit! Pa bong sprinted forward and ambushed Tetsu from his blind spot. He raised up his right fist to bury a punch into his head. "That's right. You didn't see me coming, so you barely have time to react or even dodge this. I would crush you like a bug". Pa bong thought to himself, but was shocked by the result.
Tetsu caught his fist mid-way through, who didn't even need to look at him. "Who do you think invented the words…Blind spot, huh?
"Tetsu manipulated his thoughts. Forcing him to only see a surprise attack from his back as the only way to get to him." Jon said and took a out a cigarette. He lit it and let out a puff of smoke. "It's gonna take one hell of a psychology class to beat him."
"How?! How did he catch my punch? He is not even looking." Pa bong thought to himself.
"Now then. You are asking how did I catch your punch. Easy! He smirked and finally gave him the gaze of disgust. "Because the empty wasteland you call a brain is quite easy to control. Just like I have done before. I will do it repeatedly". Tetsu said and Pa bong's eyes widened.
"This guy…That look. I know those eyes. I recognize. It's him. I know in my mind that this guy is the man from the announcement day."
"What?! Are you scared…? I thought you wanted to beat me." Tetsu said with a smirked on his face. "Well…here's your chance," He whispered to him.
"Bastard". Pa bong snapped and pulled forward. Thrusting his left hand to Tetsu's chin. Tetsu pulled his right hand, which he was holding up, forcing him to lose balance
"Damn it! I have lost my footing. But it's okay. I can regain my footing if I adjust my right foot and prepare for another attack immediately". Pa bong thought to himself and let out a grim.
"Huh? You're smiling". Tetsu said and pulled in closer.
"What? How? Did he read my thoughts? How did he know I was going to adjust my foot?"
"Who gave you the rights to smile in my presence?! Tetsu snapped and opened his palm right above his face. He dropped it down, forcing pa bong into the ground with sheer force. "Now you listen to me. The next time you utter a word about me. I would make sure…you not only leave this, but you leave with no of your bones in place. Understood?! Tetsu said in a cold yet authoritative voice.
"Yes. Akashi". Midorima said. While the others replied "Yes" with a subtle voice.
"Akashi…What the hell. I thought your name was Tetsu."
"Humph. There are many things you don't know about me, you ugly creature. I suggest you think before you say your next word."
"Ugh…". He gurgled and searched his brain for what to say. An excited Tetsu interrupted his thought laughing.
"You should see the look on your face. Such pervert". Tetsu laughed and left him there on the floor. Midorima walked over to him and rubbed his head.
"Glad to have you back, Tetsu". Midorima said in a calm voice.
"Tetsu...? He changed his attitude real quick. He is no longer cold and ruthless. His aura seems to have reduced. Does that mean". Pa bong thought and glared at Tetsu as he walked away with Midorima and Aki to go get some ice cream. "This guy…just. What is he, anyway?
