We began sparring properly.
As our swords clashed repeatedly, Allen kept whispering breathless, teasing remarks. The man was so shameless, it was heavily distracting.
"Impressive speed you've got there, baby..." Allen murmured smoothly, effortlessly parrying my thrust. "...Such incredible stamina. No wonder you can take me so well in bed."
My face kept alternating between blazing red and pure white at his shameless words. "Shut up, Allen!" I hissed, gasping for air. "It's not like my opponents in the arena tomorrow are going to be saying things like that!"
Allen paused for a fraction of a second, his playful smirk instantly vanishing, replaced by a terrifying, dark edge. "Correct. For the sake of their entire lineage, they won't."
