Chapter 353 - It’s Fine If We Tear This Place Down, Right?

"To make a long story short, King Deshret, Al-Ahmar, has revived, but he is no longer the King Deshret he once was!"

Lora briefly explained the situation to Dehya, then added, "As for these Eremites, you and Rahman should take them and leave first. This is no longer a place humans can set foot in."

Even after Lora finished speaking, Dehya was still stunned by what she had said.

King Deshret, Al-Ahmar, had revived!

Lora had not lowered her voice, so Rahman and the other Eremites heard her as well. Their faces changed drastically, and they stared in shock toward the golden throne.

The throne no longer existed.

Once the dust scattered, Amon walked out from within the wreckage, his clothes covered in dirt, his cold gaze fixed on everyone below.

"Go!" Lora said to Dehya and the others.

"They cannot leave."

Amon looked at Lora and said slowly, "I have already sealed every entrance and exit in this palace. Frail human lives like theirs cannot break through my seal."

After hearing that, Lora looked at him, clasped her hands together, and put on a slightly embarrassed expression. "The way you say that, aren't you just forcing us to knock you down first?"

"I am no longer who I once was. Bound by the rules as you are, you will not be my match." Amon watched Lora warm up for battle, his voice slow and his expression arrogant.

"King Deshret... do you no longer want us?" one of the Eremites asked.

Rahman looked at Amon. He took a few steps forward, his eyes filled with reverence, though his voice trembled slightly. "My god, my king... are you truly going to abandon us?"

The Eremites all looked at Amon, calling out to him and declaring their loyalty.

As Amon met their gazes, a flicker of confusion passed through his eyes.

"He's wavering," Sophia said to Lora after noticing the look in Amon's eyes.

Lora also began watching how he reacted to those believers.

Dehya did not join the Eremites in their cries and praises. She stood beside Lora and Sophia, her gaze fixed on Amon, her expression extremely grave.

To her, King Deshret was only a legendary god. Although she had been born in the desert, she did not share the deep faith in him that people like Rahman possessed.

The Eremites were still crying out, expressing their faith to Amon.

His gaze turned cold, and he raised his hand to strike them.

"Noisy."

Sand and dust gathered into a palm and came crashing down toward the Eremites. Lora quickly held it back, sparing them from the attack.

The display of divine power left the Eremites, who did not even possess Visions, utterly shaken. They stared at the scene before them in disbelief.

Some of them had already fallen to their knees. They gazed blankly at Amon like children abandoned by their parents.

"My king..."

Hearing their trembling cries, Amon's brows drew tightly together, and he snapped, "All of you, shut up!"

He increased his strength, and Sophia quickly controlled vines to pull all the Eremites behind them. Then she broke off a branch and handed it to Dehya. "This contains my power. It can take you out of the Mausoleum of King Deshret! Hurry and leave while you can!"

Dehya gripped the branch Sophia had given her and nodded. "Understood!"

"No... King Deshret is here. Are we really going to leave?" one Eremite asked.

Hearing this, Dehya looked toward Rahman at her side and shouted, "Rahman! Don't you understand? He is no longer the King Deshret you believed in! He has changed."

Dehya's words reached Rahman. He turned back to look at Amon, who was locked in a standoff with Lora. After a moment of silence, he let out a helpless sigh.

"You're right..."

With Rahman and Dehya working together, although some of the Eremites were still unwilling to leave, they were all forcibly taken out of the Mausoleum.

Only Lora, Sophia, Apep, and Amon remained.

Without humans holding them back, Sophia took a deep breath.

She looked at Amon as emerald branches grew around her, green leaves swirling through the air and circling her body. Her original clothing faded away, replaced by a divine robe of white and green.

"Since you have forgotten the past, I will make you remember it again."

Sophia's tone was firm. She stared at Amon, and the power belonging to a god erupted fully from her.

Apep glanced at Sophia and asked, "It does not matter if we tear this place down while fighting, does it?"

"It's fine. If we destroy it, he can rebuild it himself," Sophia said, shaking her head.

"Good."

With Sophia's permission, Apep no longer held back her power.

Though she was an incomplete Ancient Dragon, the authority she possessed as one of the first Dragon Sovereigns erupted here, instantly causing a tremendous impact on the Mausoleum of King Deshret.

Countless stones cracked across the dome above, and shattered rocks came crashing down.

A piece of debris twice as tall as a person slammed down beside Lora, and the force of the impact bounced her whole body off the ground.

Lora turned back in surprise to look at Apep and Sophia. "You two..."

"An accident," Apep said.

Lora sighed helplessly. She drew back her power, clasped both hands in front of her chest, and summoned the Judgment of the Raging Sea.

Indeed, what if he did not remember?

They just had to beat him until he did.

Holding the Judgment of the Raging Sea, Lora looked at Amon and murmured, "Aside from Osial and Beisht, you're the first god to experience this weapon of mine. Amon, once you recover your memories, remember to leave me a good review."

Amon looked at Lora, his brows furrowing slightly.

The three of them each drew upon their vast power and rushed toward him. In the blink of an eye, they crossed the distance between them and arrived before him.

Amon was startled. He tried to widen the gap between himself and Lora's group, only to suddenly realize that his body had become extremely sluggish. He could not move at all, as if he had sunk into deep, heavy water.

Immediately afterward, countless vines and branches burst from beneath Amon's feet, binding his hands, feet, and waist, making it even harder for him to break free.

Apep followed right after and seized control of Amon's head, leaving him with no room to move whatsoever.

Then Lora raised the Judgment of the Raging Sea high, looked at Amon, and said slowly, "This may hurt a little, but I think you should be able to endure that much. So..."

After Lora finished speaking, a massive blue sword of light formed from Hydro energy pierced straight through Amon's chest, and the vast power of the Primordial Sea washed through his body.
