POOF!
Smoke dispersed. Rin transformed into Kakashi, looking at Obito like he was an idiot.
Obito froze. "Kakashi..."
Kakashi said nothing and simply walked away, revealing a worried Rin behind him.
Obito's face turned completely red with embarrassment.
Kitagawa smiled sweetly. "Asuma, come transform into Kakashi."
Asuma Sarutobi immediately stepped forward and used Transformation Technique to become Kakashi.
Kitagawa glanced and found the appearance and bearing correct. "Have a conversation with Obito."
Asuma's demeanor became cold, his eyes regarding Obito indifferently as he spoke. "An Uchiha elite wouldn't struggle with Transformation Technique, would they?"
Kitagawa nodded satisfactorily. "Excellent. That's what Kakashi would say."
Obito's face burned red.
He'd indeed constantly mentioned being an Uchiha elite and talked about becoming Hokage.
And Asuma had demonstrated Kakashi's sharp-tongued nature.
Kitagawa looked at Obito. "Obito, did you see Kakashi and Asuma's performance?"
"To use Transformation Technique deceptively, you need sharp observation—grasp the crucial details."
"Especially in combat, though simple transformation is quickly exposed, in actual battle, buying even a few minutes is valuable."
"Obito, from now on, transform into Kakashi and maintain the transformation throughout class."
Obito lowered his head lifelessly. "Yes, sensei."
Kitagawa smiled. "Obito, unless you want to run laps after class, perform properly as Kakashi."
Obito jolted awake, quickly forming seals and transforming. He moved beside the real Kakashi.
The two standing together were indistinguishable.
Kitagawa nodded approvingly and continued his unique teaching.
After morning classes.
Obito ate his lunch alone when a chicken leg suddenly appeared in his lunchbox.
Obito looked up surprised. "Teacher Kitagawa!"
Kitagawa sat beside him with his own lunchbox. "Eat up!"
Obito nodded.
After eating, Kitagawa smiled and spoke. "Did you feel embarrassed this morning?"
Obito shook his head, but under Kitagawa's gentle yet seemingly all-seeing gaze, he nodded.
Kitagawa chuckled lightly. "Being mocked is normal. Feeling embarrassed is normal."
"Your teacher experienced this too. After all, not everyone is a brilliant genius."
"During growth, mockery is inevitable—it's motivation."
"As for embarrassment, that's the most useless thing. Once you become a jonin, even Hokage, those who mocked you will look at you with respect and admiration, won't they?"
Obito nodded.
Kitagawa shifted tone. "But only if you actually become jonin and Hokage, then they call you 'sir.'"
"See, you've gotten used to being without your goggles. Learn to accept mockery, accept losing face. Focus your eyes and energy on pursuing your goals."
"Let me tell you something—Kakashi applied for early graduation."
Obito's eyes widened. "What?!"
He suddenly stood. "Sensei, I also want to graduate early!"
As an Uchiha elite, he couldn't be overshadowed by that arrogant Kakashi!
Kitagawa raised his hand, pressing Obito back down with a smile. "Your sensei already convinced Kakashi to abandon early graduation."
Obito looked confused. "Why?"
"Though Kakashi is arrogant, he's strong enough to be my rival."
Kitagawa laughed but didn't explain. Instead, "Though I convinced Kakashi to abandon early graduation, I'm now teaching him individually."
Obito didn't understand. Kitagawa explained, "So the Kakashi you saw today is just a shadow clone."
Obito's eyes went wide. "Just a shadow clone?! His real body is..."
Kitagawa nodded. "Training elsewhere using techniques I taught him."
Obito swallowed hard, then excitedly said, "Sensei, I can too!"
Kitagawa patted Obito's shoulder. "Your sensei believes you can. But currently, you haven't met graduation requirements."
"If you want individual teaching and jutsu instruction, then work hard."
With that, Kitagawa vanished.
Obito stood frozen for a moment, then clenched his fists, biting his teeth hard. "I absolutely won't be looked down on by that arrogant Kakashi! I must get individual instruction from sensei too!"
After psyching himself up, Obito immediately washed his lunchbox and headed to training with burning passion.
Previously, without copying assignments, he'd play with classmates.
Kitagawa observed Obito's effort with satisfaction.
Unlike Kakashi's self-discipline and conscientiousness, Obito tended to be slack, so he needed occasional stimulation.
Gai was different—needing constant encouragement and motivation to strengthen his resolve.
Because Gai was unique. While others studied ninjutsu, only he researched taijutsu—lonely, questioning the path ahead.
Kakashi just needed techniques taught, then periodic question-answering, and he'd train consciously.
Different students required different guidance and teaching approaches.
The first afternoon class was throwing practice.
Obito's attitude was noticeably different.
Kakashi remained as excellent as ever, drawing cheers from numerous female classmates with each technique.
Unfortunately, besides Kitagawa and Obito, nobody knew he was a shadow clone.
Obito silently gritted his teeth. "That arrogant guy."
After throwing practice came sparring class.
But upon starting, Kitagawa raised his hand, formed seals, and pressed the ground. A stone wall erupted upward, stopping at 4 meters high.
This drew excited gasps from the small group.
Standing beside the wall, Kitagawa addressed his students loudly. "Many classmates struggle with Clone Technique, largely due to poor chakra control."
"So this lesson, sensei modified the curriculum. First, we'll better train your chakra control ability."
"The exercise is... wall-climbing!"
Technically it was tree-climbing. Kitagawa could use Wood Release to create trees, but no need. The stone wall sufficed.
"Asuma, demonstrate for us."
Kitagawa spoke.
Asuma hesitated because demonstrations were usually Kakashi's job.
Seeing Asuma motionless, Kitagawa was surprised. "You haven't mastered this?"
Asuma quickly said, "Should be fine, sensei."
Kitagawa nodded, smiling. "Then demonstrate for your classmates."
"Yes!"
Asuma nodded and stepped forward.
Soon, under all their eyes, Asuma's feet stepped onto the stone wall one after another. His body parallel to the ground, he stood stably on the wall.
"Impressive~"
The watching classmates gasped in amazement.
