Shetty's boys took us to his Adda and I was dead scared. And then I saw him, Utsav Shetty, a massive looking guy in his 50s who looked like a pure Mafia boss.
"So, you two bozos made that heist in my store huh?" He asked.
"Sir, we are so sorry, we will compensate you." I offered with a trembling voice.
"Eh, I had an insurance anyway and the place was a rut. You only did me a favor. Keep your cut from the heist and give the rest to my boy Vishnu over here. You've earned it." He put me under confusion with that.
"But sir…. I…. About that offer of yours'?" I asked the obvious.
"Uh about that, I have a task for you two. You need to sell our new brand of cigars in a particular area where the rich people hang out, but the problem is that it's a rival gang's turf so expect a little shakedown. You boys can handle that, don't you?" so, that was the offer, sounds easy.
"My boy Vishnu will explain you the rest." And with that Utsav bhai concluded the meeting.
"You are with me kid! On to the east side of Andheri." Vishnu accompanied us to our first task.
Moments later.
"We're here, ready to make some money boys? Remember make the cash flow as much as you can and that will make the boss happy and you get to keep 50 percent cut, sounds good?" He asked and we nodded.
"Perfect, now get to work." He was an ordering type.
We were selling and earning a good amount of money so far but then….
"Woah woah woah, what the heck is going on over here? Doing biz in our territory? And let me guess Vishnu and who's the new fella? Did Utsav found a new whoreson to work from him?" and that pissed me off. Disrespect me, I can handle but disrespect my mom, and I will kill you.
"Whom are you calling a whore you asshole?" I taunted him.
"Easy there Vikrant, let me handle this." Vishnu tried to tame me.
"You will disrespect this man's mother? That's a new low." Vishnu took over the situation.
"Uh look, Utsav bhai's puppy teaching me principles, as if he got one. I tell you what, you boys give me 60 percent of your today's earning and I will let it slide. Refuse to comply and my boys will cut you all into pieces." Empty threats which I hate a lot.
"So, what do you say?" He was desperate.
"Kiss my ass." And then I pulled out the piece and shot one of Uday's men.
"You've made a wrong choice kid." And that made Uday angry enough to turn this legit biz into a gang fight.
A tensed stand off until the cops showed up and we were forced to flee.
"Next time kid." He whispered.
Back at the adda.
"Sloppy and reckless, but I am happy that you boys didn't come empty handed but 80 grand is not enough. Also, you got a man down…. tch…. Uday will be out for some blood." Utsav bhai already knew the future event to escalate soon.
"So, what now boss?" I asked.
"Don't worry, I'll handle Uday. You work for me now and until the next job, get some r and r and keep your cut, you've earned that." And with that my official entry to the Mafia was sealed.
I was working for Utsav Shetty, which was indeed unexpected. If Johnny had never attempted that heist, I'd have now been living an honest life like a salary man doing an office work. But now the things changed.
Next morning.
The next morning wasn't the same, as I wake up and see my reflection in the mirror, I see a different face, the face of a killer.
"Bhai, breakfast's ready." Fanna called me up.
"Coming." I headed to have my food and then I headed out.
At Shetty's adda.
"Vikrant, so nice to see you. You see I got a hit for you, Viraj Rai Dobriyal, a thorn in our operation, take him out and you'll get a huge amount. I don't care if you go loud or silent just complete the job." So, a hit contract, why am I not surprised. Perks of working of the mafia and a high risk that comes with it I suppose.
May 10th 1977
"He's here, take him out Vikrant." Vishnu alerted me.
"With pleasure." And then I took out my Sniper rifle to make the kill.
I pulled the trigger and I ended a life.

Back at the adda.
"It's done." I spoke.
"Great, now meet Johnny and have fun tonight. I hooked you boys with an entrance to the strip club. So go there make a girl strip, dance or fuck her even. Haha." That filthy asshole, but yeah, I earned my share of fun that night.
At the LOVE JUICE Strip Club.

"These girls are smoking hot, aren't they?" Johnny asks me.

She started to do her thing, and began strip teasing and dancing and asked me to fuck her even, but I wasn't desperate. I asked her questions rather.
