The next day, classes officially started.
In the morning, we had classes like normal.
Then, we had top quality lunch in cafetaria for dirt cheap!
Believe it or not, the Cook Hero, Lunch Rush makes great food. I wonder why is he a hero then.
It's weird.
And in the afternoon, it's finally the time! Basic Hero Training!
"I HAVE! COME THROUGH THE DOOR LIKE NORMAL!"
And, it seems that All-Might will be taking this class.
"Hero basic training! The class that will put you through all sorts of special training to mold you into Heroes! It will also give a lot of credits."
"No time to dally. Today's activity is this! Battle Training! And for that, you will need these!"
"Costumes!"
I can't believe they put together my costume in a day.
Man, if not for the mobility issues, I would have added a Hokage cloak like Minato. I am not looking for cool, but functionality.
"After you change, come to Ground Beta!"
"Looking good is very important, ladies and gentlemen! Because from now on, you all are Heroes!"
I changed into my costume, and I look like a proper Jonin, aside from my mask and fire extinguisher on my back.
As expected, there are not unlimited kunais and shurikens though. At times like this I really don't like that I don't have chakra. I would have been able to create some storage seals otherwise.
While they made the katanas blunt, the kunais and shurikens are sharp. So Aizawa-sensei somehow managed to convince them huh?
And then there is the cloth that he uses like web shooters of Spider-Man. It will be good for restraining.
I went to the training ground, and everyone looked good in their costumes.
...Except Deku. What's with the ugly mask, and just a jumpsuit?
Is he really a Shounen MC?
Well, aside from that disappointment, Todoroki seems to be most powerful. He has two Quirks. The one he is showing off is ice, so other must be fire, given that he is Endeavour's son.
He looked at me, and gave me competitive cold eyes.
Well, he might be the strongest amongst my other classmates. He wouldn't last a second against me.
Afterall, I couldn't really use genjutsu against robots, but humans are another thing.
Infact, it's not like they can just force their Quirks to function to break out of genjutsu. It will only work if their Quirk affects the nervous system directly, or if the Quirk itself is placed in the brain, or maybe eyes.
All Quirks do need nerves for activation, but most don't disturb the nervous system much. Afterall, if you felt pain on getting your ice you put on your body for defence, it will be very bad.
In a way, since almost no one has a proper supernatural energy circulatory system like Chakra network, it makes Sharingan more OP.
"Today, we will be doing Indoor Anti-Personnel Battle Training!"
"Villain battles are mostly seen outside, but statistically, the most heinous villains are most likely to appear indoors. Between confinement, house arrests, and black market deals, in this Hero-filled society of ours, the cleverest villains lurk indoors!"
"You will now be split into Villain Teams and Hero Teams, and face-off in two-on-two Indoor Battles!"
"Listen up! Here's the deal. The villains will be hiding a nuclear weapon in the hideout. And the Heroes have to go in and take care of it!"
"Your battle partners will be decided by, drawing lots!"
So, we drew lots, and my battle partner turned out to be...
Kaminari. Who is my natural enemy, considering his Quirk is Electrification. Not only is his Quirk in his brain and deeply connected to his nervous system, but Electrification should be able to increase his speed and reaction timing a lot.
Aside from Todoroki having two Quirks and Deku having All-Might's Quirk, he has the most potential.
I just hope he doesn't turn out to be a Potential Man.
"Hey! Why are you looking at me like that!?"
"Like what?"
"I don't know. But you are staring at me intensely."
Hmm, I can't let him turn into a Potential Man.
"From today onwards, you are my training partner. Your Quirk is extremely versatile and good."
"I want to be a Hero, not a Ninja. No thanks!"
...He is showing the signs already...
"Then first, the Hero Team is B! And Villain Team is G!"
So we of Team G are Villains. And Todoroki and Shoji of Team B are Heroes.
It will be great playing the villain!
