Boras finally broke from his group and walked towards me. I could see the fear in his eyes even from afar.
I must have really traumatised him.
"Young master what should we do? From my observations the hoard is massive?"
He asked. Sweat dripped down his face, and his eyes were moving around as he glanced at the forest nervously. His hands twitched violently as he looked around the forest.
We could already hear the signs.
Occasional wild roars cut through the forest a telltale sign from the previously quiet forest. They were moving, and the beasts that were not part of the hoard sensed it.
"What did you see?"
I asked. I needed to roughly understand the situation before moving forward. I was contemplating whether to avoid it entirely or just fight at the edges as we moved forward.
A beast horde is one of the most annoying things. Mother dealt with them occasionally but it seemed the scale had gone up by a hundredfold.
