Oro and Mato were staring at each other, ready to clash.
(He's the Third National Hero, so probably, I got 0 chances of winning... nevermind, gotta try anyway.)
On the other side of the room, there was the League of Villains' objective: All Might.
"I've been waiting, hero," Shigaraki grunted, "you trash of society."
In the blink of an eye, All Might dashed forward and saved Eraser Head, who was in critical condition.
(Oh, crap,) thought Oro, seeing Eraser's conditions, (he really is in bad shape...)
Mato used Oro's moment of distraction to attack him, but the Pro Hero blocked his attack.
"Hey, wait a second!" he exclaimed, "I wasn't on guard yet!"
SBAM!
Oro delivered a powerful jab to Mato's face. The villain stumbled a few feet away.
(He's muscular, so one of his punches might shatter my mask or directly kill me... I have to avoid both. Also, I can't remain too injured, since I must return to my class when this is over...)
Oro and Mato clashed, delivering powerful blows to each other. Finally, Mato used his Quirk. He wrapped darkness around his fist and punched Oro in the gut.
"Good one!" exclaimed Oro.
(I just hit him, and he's complimenting me? What the hell is wrong with this guy...)
Oro grabbed Mato's arm and threw him in the air.
"Light Spikes!"
From the floor, three spikes made of light appeared, aiming for Mato, who managed to dodge, fortunately.
The villain leapt on the floor and adjusted his mask. Oro appeared behind him, but the villain lowered his body and dodged.
(He's learning!) thought Oro.
Mato placed a hand on the floor and kicked Oro with both legs. Oro stumbled a few kicks away.
(Okay, I underestimated him,) thought the Pro Hero, (Gotta get serious.)
Oro wrapped his fists with light and lunged forward to Mato.
Mato did the same, but with darkness.
Their punches collided, and the impact created a shockwave that reverberated throughout the room.
The Pro Hero and the villain continued to clash with powerful blows.
(He's not aiming to kill me, so basically, I shouldn't be afraid of dying, but... I can't let him take the upper hand!)
Mato used his Quirk again, blocking Oro's arms.
(That's my opportunity!)
Mato aimed his kick at Oro's face, but the Pro Hero lowered himself, then used his light-based Quirk to break free and punch Mato in the stomach.
(Oh, dammit...)
Mato flew away, but thanks to his Quirk, he landed on the floor safely.
(Where did he go...?)
"Hey, villain!"
Mato turned and saw Oro behind him.
"Let's end this quickly, okay? I'm hungry."
(Yeah, I'm hungry too... let's end this quickly.)
"Light Punch!"
(Darkness Punch!)
SMASH!
The two of them punched each other in the face.
(Ouch... I felt that...)
Mato's rabbit mask almost fell, but the boy managed to keep it in place.
(All Might is protecting the students and fighting that huge thing with a bird-like face...) thought Oro, (I may not be him, but I'm a hero anyway, and I have to defeat this villain with the rabbit mask!)
Suddenly, a huge shockwave reverberated throughout the entire room. All Might's and Nomu's punches had clashed, causing Mato to fly away.
(Whoa, calm down, you Symbol of My Ass!)
Mato gripped a railing with his Darkness Quirk and regained his position.
"Here I come!" Oro charged again, but this time, Mato was prepared and clashed with the Pro Hero for the third time.
(I'm running out of energy... I must end this quickly!) thought Oro, delivering a jab to Mato's face, who managed to block.
During the fight, Oro noticed All Might had defeated Nomu.
"We've been completely overwhelmed..." said Shigaraki, "I can't believe he did that to Nomu..."
(I... I can't move...) thought All Might, standing victorious, but injured. (If I move even one step. I won't be able to keep up with this bluff. Just a little longer.)
"Well? What's wrong?" All Might asked.
Suddenly, from out of nowhere, the #1 National Hero got blocked by ropes made of darkness.
(What the...)
"Good job, Mato," said Shigaraki.
All Might managed to turn his head enough to see Mato behind him, with ropes of darkness in his hands.
(Yes! I got him!) thought the villain.
"The fight with Nomu was just the beginning," said Shigaraki, "the goal was to lower your guard to allow Mato to trap you in his dark ropes."
"All Might!" shouted Izuku.
"If anyone moves, I'll order Mato to kill you," Shigaraki hummed, scratching his cheek.
"Hey, you were fighting me!" Oro dashed forward and tried to punch Mato, but Kurogiri blocked his path.
"Out of the way, shady thing!" Oro exclaimed, but it was worth nothing.
"Fine, let's kill him now," Shigaraki said, lunging forward in All Might's direction alongside Kurogiri.
(We've got him... I've got him!) thought Mato, smiling under his mask, (finally, we accomplished our goa-)
"ALL MIIIIIIIGHT!" Izuku had jumped in the air to protect All Might, with his fist clenched.
(Why doesn't this guy ever mind his own business?)
"Stay away from All Might!"
With his Quirk, Shigaraki tried to touch Izuku, but his hand got shot, and shortly after, Mato almost got hit too.
(Oh, shit!) the villain jumped backwards, releasing his grip on the dark ropes, freeing All Might, (they're here!)
"I gathered all who were immediately available. I, Tenya Iida, have now returned!" Iida had returned with the Pro Heroes by his side.
(Okay, we're fucked up... wait, there's Sekijiro-sensei among them! What is my class doin'?)
"Oh man, they're here," said Shigaraki, "it's game over now."
"Mato, Kurogiri, let's retreat. I may have failed this time, but next time, we'll kill you, All Might!"
Thanks to Kurogiri's Quirk, the villains warped away and returned to their basement.
"I got shot in both arms and both legs..." muttered Shigaraki.
"Shut up, Shigaraki," said Mato, falling on the ground from the injuries from the fight against Oro, "you didn't fight the #3 National Hero. I can ensure my wounds are worse than yours."
Mato took off his mask and spat blood.
(Dammit...)
"Kurogiri-san," said the boy, "warp me back to school."
"Oh, right," said Kurogiri, "they don't have to know."
"How will you justify your wounds?" asked Shigaraki.
"I'll tell 'em I fell down the stairs," said Mato, changing back into his school outfit.
"Good luck," said Kurogiri, "don't get discovered."

Mato was warped back inside the school bathroom. He spat blood inside the toilet and punched the wall.
(Dammit... not only did we lose completely, but I also wasted time!)
Mato hurried outside the bathroom and reached his class.
"I'm back!"
"Hey, Shirakawa-kun!" Setsuna exclaimed, "I thought you fell inside the toilet!"
"No," said Mato, trying to act as if nothing happened, "I'm having stomach problems recently."
Mato sat back in his chair, next to Setsuna.
"Where is Sekijiro-sensei?" he asked, pretending not to know."
"Someone called him," said Tetsutetsu, "apparently, some villains invaded the school. He had to go help them."
"Oh, I see," said Mato.
"He should be back in a while," said Setsuna.
(At least, apparently, nobody suspects me... that's great.)
