Aranji wanted to get a better look at all the dragons.
He hadn't seen the big one yet the Black Dread. But the other one, Vhagar, she was a beauty. The chakra she had it was something else. It moved like fire, not just in shape, but in feeling. It burned hot, wild, and deep, like a lake of flame coiled inside her chest.
Still… it wasn't quite there.
He compared it in his mind. The Uzumaki their chakra was denser, more potent. The dragons had high chakra, yes, but the Uzumaki were born with oceans of it. What made the dragons different was the way their chakra changed when they were bonded to a rider. That connection it amplified them. Strengthened both sides. It wasn't just a mount and master. It was a fusion.
He thought about where to go first: the Dragonpit, then the Red Keep's library. But the pit came first.
He performed a Body Flicker, vanishing from the outer courtyard and reappearing near the lower tunnels. A quick Henge no Jutsu transformed him into one of the dragonkeepers. He moved with purpose, following the chakra trails left behind.
They were faint, but to him, they glowed like embers in the dark.
He followed them until he found her.
Vhagar.
She was resting in a wide cavern, wings folded, her massive body curled like a sleeping mountain. Even now, she radiated power. His Byakugan was already active, and what he saw made him pause.
Her chakra was alive. It moved through her like fire in a forge hot, heavy, and deep. Not chaotic like a tailed beast, but still dangerous. Still ancient.
She noticed him.
Really noticed him.
He stood still, watching her. Wondering. Why did they keep doing that? The dragons. They always saw him. Not just looked saw. Maybe it was because they were made from chakra. Or maybe it was magic. He couldn't really tell.
He wanted to touch her. Really touch her. But something told him that would be unwise.
He turned and walked deeper into the pit.
Vhagar watched him leave.
He was strong. She could feel it. All it would take was one Judgement Bolt, and he'd be out of chakra. He wouldn't be defenseless, but it would be a long time before he could do another one. He needed to get stronger.
The First Hokage could drain chakra. That's what Lord Tobirama said. Maybe he could learn that. Maybe he could practice on someone maybe dagon he thought this in a human way
He kept walking, hand brushing the stone walls, until he reached a cliff.
Then he stopped.
Below him, at the bottom of the pit, was a blob of chakra. Massive. Bigger than the city above. The other dragons were big but this? This was something else entirely.
He stared.
The chakra began to take shape.
It was standing up.
He was face to face with the Black Dread.
Balerion.
He looked closer, eyes narrowing. How was it aware of him? These dragons… they had a strong connection to chakra. He could see it now threads of energy, faint but real, trailing off into the air like smoke.
Then he saw something else.
Near the bottom of the beast not the tail, but lower, deeper there was a black mass. A sickness. A chakra infection. It pulsed slowly, like rot. It was killing him. Not fast. Not violently. But slowly, like a fire with no air.
He needed to be connected to a Targaryen. That was the only way. The excess chakra was too much. Without a bond, it was eating him alive.
Aranji stood there, silent.
He felt sorry.
Sorry for the beautiful, dangerous thing that this beast was.

Information Update
So I'm going to make this clear the dragons have high chakra levels because they are generating chakra they're not like the tail beast they become stronger when they have a partner
I'm the dragons comparing to the uzumakis clan when a Targaryen it starts to learn how to use Jutsu it will mostly be fire style Jutsu
