Cherreads

Chapter 2 - Chapter 2

Ju Douluo's gaze was exactly what I had been waiting for for 3 years; the shock, the incredulity, and even the greed was what I had been cooking during years of arduous work.

I had arrived in this world exactly 3 years ago; I found myself lost without fully understanding why I was here when, as if I were calling for help, an answer reached me.

It was my system or golden finger, my help that I obtained upon arriving at the Douluo Continent; it was called the diary of deceit. Just by hearing its name, I understood everything I needed to know: it was a diary that by writing in it I would obtain rewards and would have readers who would be the heroines of the story.

My system was one of the many diary systems I had read about I don't know how many times in fanfics or stories; I was tired of how the protagonist always never had an idea of how the heroines gathered around him, how the personalities of the heroines changed, and he couldn't put one and one together.

So when I heard that my system was of deceit, I got so excited that you can't imagine it.

There were also stories and fanfics about a diary in which you could deceive the heroines by telling stories or slightly modifying the story in favor of the protagonist, but they always ended up at the same thing: pure harem with very weird and meaningless stories.

I organized my thoughts to begin the interrogation of my system and its answers did not disappoint me.

I had: 1 main diary, 6 diaries for the heroines, a reward subsystem for the registration of the heroines' diaries, a reward subsystem for my writing in the diary, and most importantly, an exact copy of the Douluo continent.

Apparently, all the rewards obtained from writing in the diary and the rewards the heroines obtained were not obtained from nowhere; the system made an exact copy of the Douluo continent and took the rewards from this copy.

My emotion was palpable and at that moment I wanted to start writing to be able to begin my adventure, but something inside me screamed at me not to do that and to think in more depth.

I spent a whole entire day thinking about what I could do so as not to repeat the same stories or fanfics I had read in my previous life.

Time passed and when the baldness of the sun began to come out from among the mountains in the distance, my mind cleared and inspiration was released as if it were a water compress.

Immediately I went to consult with my system if in some way I could, instead of only delivering the diaries to the heroines, I could also deliver the diaries to everyone or at least to the spirit masters of the entire Douluo continent to be able to maximize the capacities of my system.

Damn yes, of course that could be done, and the reason why in the stories it was always the heroines who obtained their diaries was that at the moment of a protagonist transmigrating, their systems always chose the audience of greatest interest for the protagonists of those fanfics… the heroines.

Apparently, I was also among these protagonists to whom the diaries were directed to the heroines. Among the heroines were Qian Renxue, Bibi Dong, Ning Rongrong, Zhu Zhuqing, and 2 more heroines who would be added randomly.

Taking a big decision, I began my grand plan with my system on how I could maximize its use for my future story and adventure on this continent.

The first thing I did was convert my 6 diaries of the heroines into a fleeting meteor shower that fell in every part of the Douluo continent, especially in the most important parts of the continent such as spirit city, heaven dou, and star lou. What falls in the 2 empires and the spirit city would be palm-sized crystals, small parts of the diaries that had the function of diary reading, and so that people would not leave or cast aside the crystals, the function of improving cultivation by 10% for anyone who cultivated with it was added.

Doing this left me without my starter pack that the diary system had, but it was worth it for me personally.

Another rule I self-imposed was that I had to write a diary entry at least every half year, so that the people of the Douluo continent could get used to what I would write and process everything.

With the help of my system, I managed to obtain a book-type martial soul and the capacity to cultivate spirit power; apparently, this came in my gift for newbies and, not being native to the continent, my body was not in accordance with the rules of this world.

Not being native to the Douluo continent, in order to obtain the capacity to cultivate, my system began a forced rejuvenation so that my body would accept the rules of this world and be in harmony with it.

So I ended up as a 9-year-old boy, with a book-type martial soul and with innate power of level 3, who set out toward the greatness of this world through his system and his wit.
