Chapter 14 - Fourteen

Elana.

"Have you gone mad?" Father asked in irritation at my reaction to the introduction of his special guest.

I closed my gaped mouth and stared in disbelief at the man who sat across from my father.

Alex. Alex is my father's best friend. So he knew who my father was and he denied knowing him.

He knew what could happen and yet had the guts to show up at my house to stay?

I didn't even know whether to be angry at the petty man or scared. Who knows how long he'll stay?

I won't be able to compose for so long. Oh moon goddess, what are you doing to me?

"Lana, are you okay?" Danelle asked, nudging me with his elbow.

"Huh? Yes. Yes, I'm okay. It's just that Father's best friend seems familiar," I said. Emphasizing the familiar.

"Oh yes, I've been here a couple of times when you both were very young. So it's understandable you think I'm familiar," Alex laughed.

What's funny fool?

I laughed awkwardly and was about to leave for the kitchen, but Father had other plans. "Get back here," he ordered.

I sighed reluctantly and turned back around. "Yes. Father?" I said sarcastically.

"Have you no respect for my guest? How dare you leave without me dismissing you, you shameless prostitute," he hissed.

"Staring at him like he's one of your customers," he looked me up and down.

Well, he IS a faithful customer. I looked over at Alex and saw how his mood changed. His anger was obvious and it made me smile.

"Get out of my presence now. And go prepare dinner," he ordered.

As I was leaving, I heard Alex say, "Why do you speak to her that way?" He asked.

But I didn't stay long enough to hear my father's response.

As I got into the kitchen, I unpacked the kitchen stuff and began dinner. Efanell walked in moments later.

"I forgot to drop off the bags in the kitchen and took them to my room instead," he laughed. I laughed as well.

After dropping his stuff, he turned to leave but stopped in his tracks. "Elana," he said with a smirk.

"The way you reacted to father's guest. Have you got a crush on him already?" He asked jokingly.

If only he knew it was deeper than a crush.

I laughed it off, "No of course not," I said. "Besides, father has already tarnished my image in only 3 minutes after meeting him. So I don't think he'd value me,"

But he does. Efanell patted my back and left the kitchen.

Alex.

After Elana served dinner, we all sat at the table to eat.

She sat directly opposite me and didn't look up from her meal once. She played with her food as she ate.

Edward and I engaged in business conversation and caught up on all that we had missed.

I intentionally ate slowly, so I would finish my meal last. When everyone else was done eating, Elana cleared their plates.

I refused her offer to clear mine and gave the excuse that I wasn't done yet.

She squinted her eyes suspiciously because she knew I didn't eat that slowly.

I laughed at her expression and continued my meal. From the corner of my eye, I saw her brother Efanell glaring at me.

Have I become an enemy?

Careful son, you don't want to cross me. He stood up from his seat and went up the stairs.

It was some minutes to 9 pm, he probably needed a rest. Edward had long gone to his room and said we would continue from where we stopped tomorrow.

Everyone else was gone, and it was just Elana and I left. Just as I planned.

I drank a glass of water and carried my tray to the kitchen. She was doing the dishes when I walked in.

I cleared my throat as I placed my tray on the kitchen counter. She ignored me and pretended I wasn't there.

She began to hum a tune. "I'm invisible now?" I asked as I walked up to her and hugged her from behind.

She squirmed in my arms and pushed me away. "Have you gone mad?" She whispered angrily.

She's asking if I've gone mad. She wouldn't have this audacity if she were in my mansion.

"I do not know what stunt it is you're playing. But I would appreciate it if you kept your distance from me throughout your stay here sir." She called me sir again…

"Have you no idea how drastically this could escalate? My father will disown me!" She said.

She should've known that before making me so attached. Even though it's all my fault.

"Relax, little one. No one is finding out anything I promise," I assured her.

I may have done something risky, but obviously not without a plan.

"Come here," I ordered her. She shook her head and turned around. Sometimes I forget she is barely an adult.

I pulled her arm, bringing her closer to me. I pushed her head up with my finger, forcing her to look up at me. "Lose your attitude, little one."

"And when I call you, you answer. Have I made myself clear?" I asked, staring into her eyes hungrily. She didn't respond and instead stared back at me.

"I said, have I made myself clear?" I asked again, shifting my hand from below her chin, to her neck where I choked lightly.

"Yes sir," she whispered. She bit her lip as she looked up into my eyes.

I know I told her to stop calling me sir. But something about the way she said it this time, got me aroused.

I decided to play along. "Good girl," I said. I locked my lips with hers right after. Not waiting for a reaction.

She kissed me back as I choked her. I wrapped my other hand around her waist and pulled her closer.

I carried her and placed her on the counter. Our lips didn't break contact for a second.

I pulled down her shorts and slowly spread her legs open. Rubbing her thighs she moaned lightly.

I rubbed her sensitive area lightly through her underwear. It was soaked with her juices.

She wrapped her arms around my neck as I shifted her underwear to the side and rubbed her area.

I noticed she was becoming restless, and I gained satisfaction in my teasing. I slipped a finger in and plunged.

She moaned into my lips, and it made me groan out of pleasure.

I kept going in and out and gradually added another finger. I increased my pace and went in harder.

Her moans vibrating on my lips made me want to make love to her right there.

Maybe getting attached to her isn't such a bad idea.

We were so caught up in our session I didn't notice anyone trying to get into the kitchen.

"Elana, why is the door locked?" Efanell asked.

Elana was startled, and her eyes widened in fright.

"You locked the door?" She whispered.

I nodded and put a finger on her mouth to shush her. I left her and hid beside the big fridge in the kitchen.

She got down from the counter and arranged her clothes properly. She washed her face and poured some water into her eyes, pretending to have been crying.

She sluggishly walked to the door and unlocked it. I laughed at her good acting. Luckily, Efanell couldn't see me from the door.

After opening the door, she walked back to the sink sobbing.

"Lana? Why are you crying?" He asked as he rushed to her side.

"Is it father?" He asked, and she nodded, still pretending to cry.

"It's okay Elana. You'll be fine," he hugged her. What could that man be making this poor girl go through?

The urge to murder was becoming too realistic. She hugged him, his back facing me, so he couldn't see me at all.

"Anyways, have you seen Sir Alex? I went to his room earlier to ask if he needed anything but there was no one there," he said.

Elana glanced at me. "Oh- umm, maybe he was taking a shower?" She replied.

She then motioned for me to use the chance to leave. I squatted and exited the kitchen.

After successfully reaching my room, I laughed at what had just happened and went into the shower to play my part.

Oh Elana, what are you doing to me?
