Under the cover of night, Matthew, Keira Knightley, and Johnny Depp concluded their street tour of Santo Domingo and returned to the hotel.
They took the elevator to the second-highest floor of the hotel.
Johnny Depp's room was closest to the elevator; he waved casually at Matthew and Keira Knightley, then went into his room.
Matthew and Keira Knightley walked a long way down the corridor until they reached Matthew's room.
"Time really flies," Matthew stopped, but showed no intention of opening the door, turning to look at Keira Knightley. "It's over already after just a short time out."
Keira Knightley bit her lower lip, staring intently at Matthew, but didn't speak.
Matthew tried to invite her, "Keira, it's been a long time since we had a deep conversation. How about we talk all night?"
As he spoke, he opened the door, stepped aside, and gestured for Keira Knightley to come in.
It wasn't their first time; they had had many deep conversations and talked all night before.
Keira Knightley hesitated for two seconds, then strode into Matthew's room.
Matthew followed close behind, embracing Keira Knightley while simultaneously pushing the door shut with his other hand.
The door immediately closed with a loud thud, completely cutting off the increasingly hurried breathing from inside the room.
It wasn't until close to midnight that Matthew's luxurious suite finally quieted down.
"Would you like a drink?"
Matthew carried two glasses of red wine to the window, where Keira Knightley, draped in a thin blanket, was admiring the Santo Domingo nightscape.
She took the red wine Matthew offered, took a small sip, then handed the glass back, saying, "Hold this for me!"
Matthew, unsure what Keira Knightley intended to do, still took the glass and asked with concern, "What's wrong?"
Keira Knightley bent down and started scratching her calf, as if it was very itchy.
After scratching for a while, she simply left the window, walked to the sofa, and sat down, continuing to scratch gently, occasionally pinching with her fingernails.
Under the bright light near the sofa, Matthew saw several distinct red bumps on Keira Knightley's leg where she was scratching.
"Damn mosquitoes!" Keira Knightley cursed. "These damn mosquitoes!"
Hearing her curse the mosquitoes, Matthew immediately remembered the items he had prepared before coming.
He quickly put down the wine glasses and rummaged through his suitcase; besides the few boxes he gave Bella Anderson when they first arrived in Dominica, he had prepared quite a bit more.
"It must have been from being bitten on the street tonight!" Keira Knightley had been under the influence of other sensations earlier and hadn't felt much, but now that the cloud-like euphoria gradually dissipated, her leg became increasingly itchy.
She looked at Matthew strangely, not knowing what he was doing, and complained, "Why do mosquitoes only bite me and not bad people like you?"
Matthew had already found the medicated oil in his luggage, took it out, and waved it in front of Keira Knightley, saying, "Because I have a miracle cure for mosquitoes."
He walked over to Keira Knightley, removed the packaging, and unscrewed the cap of the medicated oil.
A slightly pungent smell immediately wafted into Keira Knightley's nose.
"What is this?"
The box was right in front of her, and Keira Knightley frowned, "It smells so pungent."
Matthew sat next to Keira Knightley, pouring some onto his finger, "Didn't I tell you? This is a miracle cure for insect bites."
He urged, "Take your hand away."
Keira Knightley was skeptical, but she knew Matthew wouldn't harm her, so she moved her hand.
Matthew gently applied the medicated oil from his finger onto Keira Knightley's leg, and her eyes instantly widened.
"Keep going, don't stop!" She felt a wave of coolness, and the itch on her leg immediately subsided significantly. "More, please."
Matthew was unhurried, but Keira Knightley grew a little impatient, directly snatching it from him, picking up the bottle, and pouring it onto her leg.
She then quickly rubbed it in, not even caring when the blanket slipped off her body.
"Be careful!" Matthew reminded her, "Don't get it on sensitive areas!"
Keira Knightley looked up and asked curiously, "Isn't this an anti-itch medicine?" She seemed very curious. "What kind of medicine is this?"
Matthew couldn't translate it, so he could only pronounce it, "Feng-you-jing, a magical formula from an ancient Eastern land."
He stood up and asked, "Feeling better?"
Keira Knightley nodded, "Much better."
Matthew reached out to take back the medicated oil, but Keira Knightley dodged him.
Instead, Keira Knightley held out a hand, "Give me the cap."
She didn't stand on ceremony with Matthew at all. "There are too many mosquitoes in Santo Domingo; this bottle is mine now."
"Alright," Matthew placed the cap in her hand.
Keira Knightley took it, screwed it on, and said, "Thank you."
She stood up, picked up her clothes from the floor, and changed.
Matthew watched her and asked, "Not staying the night?"
Keira Knightley shook her head, "I don't want rumors spreading everywhere." She looked back at Matthew. "Tomorrow, I have scenes as Elizabeth Swann to shoot, so I need to go back and get some good rest. If I stay here with you, God knows what time I'll get to sleep."
Although she knew the engagement between Charlize Theron and Matthew was just an act, she thought that even if they were genuinely engaged, Charlize Theron would probably break it off with him.
She had personal experience; how many women could endure Matthew's nightly antics?
If it were her, she would definitely break off the engagement with that scoundrel Matthew.
Keira Knightley got dressed, not forgetting to tuck the bottle of medicated oil away.
She waved at Matthew and walked towards the door.
Matthew remembered she hadn't washed her hands and reminded her, "Wash your hands when you get back.
Don't ever put that stuff on sensitive areas."
Keira Knightley stopped at the door, turned back, and asked curiously again, "is it poisonous? Will I die if I put it on?"
"How could anything I give you be poisonous?" Matthew retorted casually, "Things like eyes, nose, or other sensitive areas—if you put it on there, it'll make you so high you'll fly up and crash to your death!"
"Hmph!" Keira Knightley bit her lip and snorted, then pulled open the door and walked out.
Matthew watched the door close, tidied the living room briefly, and flushed some protective items down the toilet.
Just as he was about to shower and sleep, his phone suddenly rang.
He picked it up and glanced at the number; it was Keira Knightley.
He quickly answered, "What's wrong, Keira?"
"Quick... quick..." Keira Knightley's voice sounded strange. "Hurry... hurry... come to my side, I... I'm going to die!"
Matthew didn't know what had happened, thinking Keira Knightley had met with an accident.
He quickly put on his clothes, rushed out of his room, and ran down the corridor, shouting into the phone as he ran, "Keira, hold on! I'm almost there!"
Before he even reached her room, Keira Knightley's door opened from the inside.
Matthew clearly saw Keira Knightley's hand and half of her arm exposed from the doorway, quickly sliding down the doorframe, as if the arm's owner was about to collapse.
Matthew rushed to the door in a few big strides, looked inside, and saw Keira Knightley, wrapped in a towel, kneeling at the doorway.
One hand was clutching her stomach, and the other was gripping the carpet tightly, seemingly enduring immense pain.
"What's wrong?" Matthew quickly went in, knelt beside Keira Knightley, and asked, "Keira! Keira! Are you okay?"
"Quick!" Keira Knightley's words seemed to be squeezed out through clenched teeth. "Close the door!"
Matthew was stunned, not understanding what she meant.
Keira Knightley urged, "Hurry and close the door!"
Hearing this, Matthew quickly closed the door.
As soon as the door made a thudding sound, Keira Knightley rolled over onto her back on the carpet, letting out a very suppressed cry.
Matthew was completely confused, watching Keira Knightley squirming on the floor, and asked, "What exactly happened?"
Keira Knightley extended a finger and pointed in a direction inside the room.
Matthew immediately looked over; on the coffee table in front of the sofa, there was a small green bottle—it was precisely the medicated oil Keira Knightley had taken from him!
"You..." Matthew instantly understood, pointing at Keira Knightley and saying, "Are you crazy?"
Keira Knightley seemed to be enduring an extremely intense sensation, her voice low, biting her lip hard, and mumbling, "Quick... quick, help me."
Matthew thought for a moment, then picked up Keira Knightley and ran into the bathroom, turning on the shower...
It was about forty minutes later when Matthew carried Keira Knightley out.
Keira Knightley also seemed to have returned to normal.
"Didn't I tell you?" Matthew placed Keira Knightley on the long sofa and said, "That stuff shouldn't be put on sensitive areas!"
"I didn't..." Keira Knightley protested.
Matthew waved his hand, "Forget it, I'm too lazy to ask."
Keira Knightley bit her lip and finally said, "After I came back from your place, I was going to take a shower.
While showering, the finger I used to rub my leg at your place accidentally touched it, and then..."
She seemed a little embarrassed, stole a glance at Matthew, then turned back to lie face down on the sofa. "Then it felt quite special, just as you said, so good I felt like I was flying."
Matthew was speechless, took a step back, and sat on another sofa.
"I thought it wasn't bad," Keira Knightley said softly. "So after I came out of the bathroom, I put some more on, and as a result... as a result, it turned into what you saw."
"Why didn't you just put on the whole bottle?" Matthew really didn't know what to say. "Didn't I tell you?"
Keira Knightley turned around and argued, "I didn't do it on purpose." She lowered her head. "Okay, I admit, the second time was on purpose, but who would have thought it would be like this?"
"Alright," Matthew stood up and walked towards the door. "You should get some rest."
