As Matthew's assistant in the crew, Anna-Sophia, carrying her work bag, had just turned into this corridor from the filming location when she saw Matthew and the lead actress Jessica Alba turn into the furniture store next door.
She couldn't help but stop; it wasn't her first time working on a Hollywood set, and she knew what this meant.
Suddenly, Matthew popped out of the furniture store, waved at her, and then pointed to the work bag in her hand.
Anna-Sophia was a very quick-witted person.
She immediately thought of the small box of condoms in the bag, quickly went over, took them out, and handed them to Matthew.
At the same time, she glanced inside and vaguely saw the door of a model Room in the furniture store open, and it seemed Jessica Alba was inside.
Before she could look closely, she saw Matthew enter the model Room and close the mahogany door, cutting off outside prying eyes.
As he returned Jessica Alba was practically stripping herself bare while painting due to arousal and makeout just now. He directly removed his clothes too while putting the safety gear on his roaring boner and pulled her for a scorching kiss while his hand explored all around her silky skin.
Mathew picked her up while kissing and she wrapped her feets around his waist giving him access to start the proceedings. He was also impatient so he directly thrust her in standing position and kept going for quite some time with increasing tempo. Jessica was only looking for a fling but she was pleasantly surprised by Matthew's combat power in that aspect.
They both explored each other bodies for quite a while in the most primitive way until the heat of desire finally subsided.
"These two…" Anna-Sophia was not stupid, she murmured, "They're turning fiction into reality."
Although she didn't see what happened during filming due to the clearing of the set, she could easily guess that the pair must have developed feelings for each other while performing a passionate scene, and as soon as filming ended, they couldn't wait to find a place to get intimate.
Anna-Sophia had been working in Hollywood for five or six years, having been on multiple film sets, and she was accustomed to seeing actors and actresses getting together impulsively.
This was common in the industry, and actors, after acting for so long, generally become people who express their emotions outwardly, so it was no longer surprising to see.
Let alone these young and impulsive actors, aren't some well-reputed people in the industry like this too?
Back in the day, Meryl Streep, who was already married, developed feelings for Jack Nicholson during filming, and didn't they just go straight to the makeup trailer for a real encounter?
Someone else from the crew walked by, and just then, a scream from Jessica Alba came from the furniture store.
The two immediately turned to look at the furniture store, saw Anna-Sophia, and roughly guessed what was happening.
They just looked curiously at the model Room in the furniture plaza but didn't stop, nor did they feel shocked or incredulous, and soon turned out of the store's corridor.
Anna-Sophia zipped up her work bag and quickly walked towards the dressing Room; it was better to wait there.
Before turning out of the corridor, she looked back again.
Even from that distance, she could still hear Jessica Alba's screams; that woman seemed to have gone mad.
With such shouts, it probably wouldn't be long before this matter spread throughout the crew.
It was clear that Matthew Horner and Jessica Alba didn't care, and probably no one in the crew would care, just like Meryl Streep and Jack Nicholson's car tryst back then.
It would become gossip fodder inside and outside the industry.
Arriving at the cosmetics store that served as the dressing Room, Anna-Sophia sat on a chair and rubbed her face.
A thought suddenly popped into her head: if she stayed in this industry for too long, would she become shameless and promiscuous like these male and female stars?
Thinking of the boyfriends she had dated in the past few years, too many to count on one hand, she immediately confirmed that she had already been influenced.
Anna-Sophia continued to overthink things here, and after waiting for half an hour, she still hadn't seen the two return.
She couldn't help but sigh that these Hollywood Stars were truly crazy; Matthew Horner not only looked strong and agile, but his real combat power also seemed very formidable.
After a full hour, the crew was almost off work, when Anna-Sophia finally saw Matthew and Jessica Alba return together.
The two looked composed, as if nothing had happened.
The two only had a thin layer of foundation on, so there was no need for a makeup artist to remove it.
They came out after changing clothes in the dressing Room, ready to finish work.
"Going back to the hotel?" Jessica Alba, not minding Anna-Sophia, leaned over and rested on Matthew's back, "Together?"
Matthew shook his head, "My Agent went to meet Sean Daniels on the second floor; I have to wait for her."
Helen Herman and he hadn't found time to have a good talk since she returned.
Jessica Alba seemed a bit disappointed.
Matthew had left a very deep impression on her in the furniture store, and she couldn't help but say, "You know my Room number at the hotel, right?"
Matthew turned around and pinched her face, "I should be done by ten tonight."
Jessica Alba again showed a sickeningly sweet smile, "I'll wait for you."
She packed her things and left quickly.
Matthew found his phone from his work bag, sat on a chair, and scrolled through his messages.
There was an unread message from Helen Herman, telling him to have dinner together after work.
Matthew put away his phone, leaned back in the chair, and closed his eyes, thinking of the madness from earlier.
He knew this matter would definitely spread, and it wasn't impossible for it to reach outside the crew and the tabloids, but he didn't care at all.
He was not married and had no girlfriend, so there would be no betrayal or cheating involved.
Similar gossip and scandals surrounded every Hollywood Star; even if they didn't do it, such rumors would not be scarce.
As for whether the media and the public would consider it immoral, that was even less of an issue.
Matthew had a personal understanding of this over the past few years, especially after the series of fake promotions with Keira Knightley, this understanding deepened.
The entertainment industry in North America was much more interesting than the one he used to live in.
Here, almost every star was a mix of scandals and negative publicity.
Things like drug abuse, drug use, and promiscuity were only the most basic level of negative publicity, not even considered scandals.
This might be related to the social environment they were in.
Hollywood doesn't treat stars as moral role models like in Asia; they only have requirements for their professional skills.
They would rather watch a star with a chaotic private life, poor personal ethics, and terrible character but excellent professional ability and solid work quality, than a boring goodie-two-shoes with good character but no acting career.
Moreover, Matthew found that the American media and public particularly liked the 'prodigal son returns' narrative.
Basically, things like acting like a prima donna, cheating, infidelity, drug use, and drunk driving, which would be career-destroying in Asia, are not a big deal for Hollywood Stars.
How eccentric Hollywood Stars are is not only understood by the general public in America, but the entire Western world is actually very clear about it.
Stars like Jessica Alba, who pretend to be sweet and naive, are not eccentric at all, just a normal phenomenon.
When Matthew used to read entertainment gossip on his smartphone, he once saw a gossip push notification that said the worst oscar best actress winner since the 1990s in Hollywood, worried that her daughter wouldn't be pretty enough when she grew up, believed that beauty should start from infancy, and actually got plastic surgery for her two-year-old daughter… Compared to such truly eccentric people, people like him and Jessica Alba, who get intimate when the mood strikes, are absolutely normal.
Of course, while being intimate, Matthew was still relatively careful with safety precautions, otherwise, he wouldn't have forgotten to ask Anna-Sophia for things at that time.
About ten minutes later, Helen Herman came over.
Matthew left the shopping center with her, and Helen Herman got into his car, and they went back to the hotel together.
"After such a long time…"
In the car, Matthew raised the partition and asked Helen Herman, "What did you and Sean Daniels talk about?"
Helen Herman took off her glasses, pulled out a cleaning cloth, and slowly began to wipe them, while saying, "Actor matters, mainly about you and Alexandra Daddario."
Matthew became interested, "Oh?"
Helen Herman unhurriedly wiped her glasses, "Sean Daniels thinks your dramatic acting has improved from before, and your acting skills are better than during the scorpion king."
"Sounds like I should celebrate." Matthew's self-practice had actually been continuous, but the progress wasn't significant, "My acting seems sufficient for this type of film."
Helen Herman didn't expect Matthew to become Daniel Day-Lewis or Tom Hanks, which wasn't realistic, so she casually said, "Pretty much.
For action-type films, even if acting skills are somewhat lacking, they can be compensated with action scenes."
Matthew shrugged, accustomed to Helen Herman occasionally criticizing him.
He was actually very clear that his acting was indeed not great, but it was by no means terrible; it was just an ordinary, average level, not outstanding but better than many.
Of course, he would not be complacent; just as he had never relaxed his self-demands, he would continue to train and refine himself.
After criticizing him, Helen Herman then offered a sweet reward, "Sean Daniels and Zack Snyder are both very satisfied with your performance in this filming.
Any dissatisfaction with the actors mainly comes from Alexandra Daddario."
Matthew nodded.
This was only Alexandra Daddario's second time participating in a film, so her acting skills naturally couldn't be described as great.
"They believe that Alexandra Daddario, apart from her chest…" Helen Herman said directly, "other aspects are very ordinary."
Matthew understood her meaning, "Sean Daniels is unhappy with your recommendation of Alexandra Daddario joining the crew?"
"Unhappy is not the right word, after all, you, the lead actor, are here." Helen Herman looked at her glasses, put them on, and said, "It's inevitable to have opinions."
These opinions were directly reflected in the filming.
Later during filming, Zack Snyder clearly reduced Alexandra Daddario's screen time, and when the camera swept over Alexandra Daddario, the focus was basically on her chest.
Any close-up shots of Alexandra Daddario's character were also scenes where she was running frantically, just as she said in an interview, she was constantly running during filming.
When running, Alexandra Daddario's 'flower vase' was even more attractive.
Although Matthew's dramatic scenes were filmed intermittently, overall the crew didn't encounter too many problems.
They arrived in Toronto at the end of August, and by mid-October, in just forty-two days, all filming was completed, and they then returned to Los Angeles.
