Cassian hugged her, kissing her forehead.
"Rest," he said softly. "You've worked hard today."
Anna chuckled weakly before closing her eyes, falling asleep almost instantly. Cassian watched her for a moment, feeling a strange mix of tenderness and satisfaction.
