Meanwhile, Ronin was getting familiar with his Mangekyō Sharingan.

The Amaterasu in his right eye was something that existed in the manga, but the ability of his left eye took him by surprise.

The ability of his left eye was Amenotokotachi!

The ability caused a designated space within his line of sight to become exceptionally stable. In other words, when Ronin activated the ability and focused on that space, everything inside it would be imprisoned—paused!

The duration was unknown, and the energy consumption wasn't entirely clear.

In his previous action, he had activated Amenotokotachi to briefly control Isley.

It was just that, since it was his first time using it, the range of the confinement he cast might have been too large. And thinking back now, the energy drain intensified only when Silva's fists made contact with the confined space.

This meant that simply imprisoning a target didn't consume too much energy, but when an external force attacked the confined space, his consumption would spike.

In short, the left eye's Amenotokotachi was clearly a space-time type ninjutsu.

And if Ronin remembered correctly, Amenotokotachi-no-Kami was also one of the Kotoamatsukami.

Amenotokotachi, the god who respected order and stability, greatly approved of Amaterasu-ōmikami. He did not wish for anyone to use his power to overthrow Amaterasu's rule, and thus imposed self-restraint.

By that logic, Amenotokotachi pairing with Amaterasu was actually quite fitting.

While the left eye's ability was certainly good, it still fell a bit short of Ronin's expectations.

Compared to Amaterasu and Amenotokotachi, Ronin still preferred Obito Uchiha's Kamui.

That space-time ability, capable of both transportation and intangibility, was truly something to be envious of.

However, gaining one Mangekyō ability that existed in the manga and one that didn't wasn't bad either.

As for what the future held, he would just continue merging with the Scarlet Eyes. Who knew? There might be some pleasant surprises waiting!

Ronin was certainly looking forward to the future.

On September 5th, a major event occurred. The Greed Island game consoles auctioned off in Southernpiece were hijacked during transport.

The cargo was lost, and all transport personnel were killed.

"This looks like the work of the Phantom Troupe," Kurapika said as he maintained Ren, scrolling through various intel reports on his computer.

With Ronin's Shadow Clone present, even if someone suspected the identity of Raymond—one of the current Ten Dons—they wouldn't find any flaws.

On the contrary, after Kurapika used Raymond's identity to consolidate the Mafia's resources, the two of them gained an even firmer foothold within this top-ten Mafia organization.

However, Kurapika was slowly purging some of the Mafia businesses he refused to touch, such as drug dealing and human trafficking.

The remaining ventures, like casinos, were inherent to the Mafia. If they cut those too, they wouldn't really be a Mafia anymore.

Watching Kurapika's choices, Ronin thought of a certain someone with a "Golden Spirit."

Though that boy didn't become a boss nearly as fast as Kurapika.

"Uvogin is dead, so why are they going to Greed Island?" Ronin was somewhat surprised, but his mind quickly raced through the various items existing within Greed Island.

Slowly, he actually thought of a possibility.

If the Phantom Troupe could clear Greed Island, would they be able to bring spell cards out of the game, just like Gon did in the manga?

But even if they brought them out, it would be useless. As long as Ronin didn't enter the game and leave his identity information, even if the Troupe obtained spell cards like [Accompany], they couldn't use them outside the game to find him.

Gon was able to use the spell ability to go directly to Kite because Kite had explicitly stated in the manga that Ging had once taken him into Greed Island.

But then Ronin thought of Bonolenov.

When he unleashed Amaterasu earlier, some of the flames had burned onto Bonolenov. Could it be that the Amaterasu flames had severely injured Bonolenov, and they needed to find a cure in Greed Island?

He had automatically assumed Amaterasu's track record from Naruto, but actually, Amaterasu wasn't weak.

In fact, you could say it was very strong.

Ronin put down the manga in his hand. "If the Troupe chooses to enter the Greed Island game now, does that mean they've temporarily given up hunting us?"

"Yeah, that's possible." Kurapika nodded in agreement, sweat constantly dripping onto the floor from his body.

Maintaining Ren was no easy task, but it was a method to rapidly increase one's strength.

According to Ronin, Kurapika needed to maintain Ren for over three hours to be considered qualified.

Based on Millia's calculation method for Nen, Kurapika needed to raise his aura capacity to around 11,000 points to pass.

Right now, Kurapika could only maintain Ren for about fifty minutes, which meant his aura capacity was currently only around 3,000 points.

And this was with his Nen ability assisting in accelerated recovery to save training time. That was the only way he could raise his aura capacity this much.

But Big Brother Ronin...

According to Big Brother Ronin himself, his aura capacity was now approaching 50,000.

After killing Omokage and obtaining two pairs of Scarlet Eyes, Ronin's aura capacity had already reached 20,000.

The subsequent three months of training had further increased his capacity. Especially later on, after Kurapika developed the healing chain on his pinky finger, this improvement accelerated significantly.

But even so, three months of rapid improvement only brought Ronin an aura capacity increase roughly equivalent to merging with one pair of Scarlet Eyes.

This brought Ronin's aura capacity to around 25,000 by September 1st.

Acquiring four consecutive pairs of Scarlet Eyes afterward caused his aura capacity to explode. Within a short span of five days, it skyrocketed from 25,000 to 45,000.

Currently, Ronin wasn't continuing training to increase his aura capacity but was instead trying to master his immense aura as quickly as possible.

The previous three months of training had allowed Ronin to control his aura as easily as moving his own fingers, but this sudden surge made his control somewhat rough again.

To perfectly master all his aura and increase his output—the amount of aura he could release at once—he needed continuous, diligent training.

Otherwise, he would be in the same situation as when he borrowed Nen from Millia: the massive aura capacity would only increase his stamina, not his attack ceiling.

Of course, that was assuming he didn't use ninjutsu.

Casting ninjutsu was a different story. If the current him were to fight Uvogin one-on-one again...

Ronin could say with certainty that even if Uvogin tried to tunnel underground, a single Majestic Destroyer Flame would directly incinerate him into charcoal.

Previously, the Majestic Destroyer Flame he cast could only cover the arena at Heavens Arena. But now, he was confident that his Majestic Destroyer Flame would fill the entire coliseum. If he unleashed one, no one in the arena or the stands would survive.

In Ronin's view, that was what Majestic Destroyer Flame should look like.

However, he still needed to train.
