A vice admiral who knew Doflamingo well replied grimly,"They may both be clones, but this is completely different. Tobirama created ten copies identical to himself instantly. The Naruto World truly hides terrifying techniques."
This was Shadow Clone Jutsu—Tobirama's specialty, and his own invention.
Unlike ordinary Clone Jutsu, which created intangible illusions with no combat ability, Shadow Clones were fully physical, capable of real combat. Even eyes as sharp as the Byakugan struggled to tell the real body apart.
One was a low-level illusion.The other was a high-rank combat technique.
As the Second Hokage, Tobirama could create hundreds—or even thousands—if he wished.

Nine shadow clones charged Akainu simultaneously.
Akainu sneered.
"You think numbers matter? How childish."

At Marineford, Sengoku chuckled.
"He used Elementalization at the moment of the first explosion. Once his body turned into magma, the follow-up blasts couldn't deal real damage."
Despite his bluster, Akainu had not underestimated Tobirama for a second.
Akainu rolled his shoulders.
"Did you really think I couldn't see through that trick?"
Tobirama wasn't surprised.
An Admiral wouldn't fall so easily.
Akainu's expression darkened.
Magma surged violently up his arms.
"Ryusei Kazan."
He raised both fists.
Magma shot skyward.

Kazuma blinked.
"Why is he punching the sky?"
Megumin's eyes widened.
"…That's a large-scale attack."
The magma fists ascended—
Then fell.
Ten.Twenty.Fifty.Hundreds.
A meteor shower of molten fists rained down, turning the battlefield into a blazing inferno.

The reef shook violently as fire and heat swallowed everything.

A massive, spiraling water pillar erupted like a tornado, sweeping up the falling magma fists and redirecting them—

Genos replied flatly,"Sensei, with your speed, this technique is meaningless."
Moonwalk—one of the Marines' Six Powers—allowed the user to move freely through the air.
As an Admiral, Akainu had mastered it completely.

Tobirama's eyes sharpened.
"Air movement won't save you."
"Water Release: Water Severing Wave!"
This time, he fired a high-pressure water blade directly from his mouth.
It screamed through the air.
This technique could slice through meters of solid steel.
A direct hit meant death.
Akainu's pupils shrank.
Just before impact—
"Rankyaku!"
Akainu kicked.
A compressed air blade ripped outward, slicing cleanly through the upper half of the water beam.
Rankyaku—another of the Six Powers—used supersonic leg strikes to create devastating vacuum slashes.
Even so, Akainu didn't linger.
He used Moonwalk again, retreating back to the reef.

Naruto stared in disbelief.
"He kicked through the Second Hokage's attack! Isn't he supposed to be weak to water?!"
Kakashi shook his head.
"No. His leg never touched the water. That was an air blade."
Even with his Sharingan active, Kakashi had nearly lost track of the kick.
Back on the reef, Tobirama exhaled slowly.
So that's how it is.
He reached to his waist and drew a kunai.
Water surged over the blade, condensing into a razor-sharp edge.
"Water Release: Water Blade Slash."
The atmosphere tightened.
