"I'm going to my friend's house to drink, you wanna tag along?" Hikaru asked as he looked over at Taiki who was sitting on the sofa, watching the news. "Why…?" "Because it's her birthday." "How many people are there?" "About 4 or 5." "Who's birthday?" "My friend's." "And who is the friend of yours..?" "Just sits near me in class, her name is Rina."
"For how long?" "Not sure maybe 6pm to 9 or 10 pm. And you're asking an odd amount of questions, Taiki." Hikaru stated as he smirked. "So do you wanna tag along?" He continued. "Fine. Just don't get too drunk or else I won't be able to carry you back here." Taiki groaned, Taiki has just became sober for 2 months. And that was big improvement for him. He used to drink every day, mostly because of the pressure that him family gives him. He just kept drinking and drinking, even when Hikaru tried stopping him.
Soon, as Hikaru was driving to Rina's place, Taiki tapped his arm. "Hm?" "Are your friends nice?" Taiki asked like a small puppy. Hikaru laughed and said "of course." But Taiki was still anxious. What if they thought he was weird? What if they didn't like him? Thousands and millions of thoughts just rushed inside his head. He was fidgeting with his fingers when Hikaru saw "Don't worry, you're gonna be just fine." The reassurance made Taiki's heart warm so he just let it go.
