The moment this thought had taken root in Elias's mind, he knew he could not let go of it. His battle with the Flesh Mauler had shown him that his Talent, Extreme Adaptation, craved chaos and danger, and trying to avoid this state of being would lead to backlash.
As a Wisp, it would be foolhardy to believe he could control an Elder Talent. Although Elias did not know the ranking for Talent, he would be a fool to regard a Talent that could increase his Attributes so drastically as anything less than a peak-level talent.
He could not control this talent that was hellbent on setting him on a path for destruction, but he could guide it on a path of his choosing, and if his Talent wanted chaos and danger, then Elias believed he should be able to kill two birds, no three birds with one stone.
