Chapter 5 - Heart of the Wendigo

The wendigo's influence seems to alter the landscape like a powerful cyclone, wreaking havoc on everything in its path. The trees rattle like wildfire stretched by the will of a surge, stretching the fabric of Creation inside space. Reality crumpled in a tight knot as the Wendigo walked forward - trees bending inward as if drawn by unseen hooks, trunks stretching and twisting like wet bone, shadows peeled themselves off the ground and crawled up its antlered form, the air folding about its body in terrible angles.

Silence, the sudden loss of energy snatches the will of the planet, bending it through his hands like a root rewritten, turning slightly to reach the sun,

Supreme Calamitas Morina.

With grace in her stride, she glided ahead, skillfully evading. Pivot of the heel that slipped over fractured reality as if it were polished marble. The earth trembled, roots extruded swiftly, extending towards her, but her footfall hit precisely where it needed to be, snapping space back into place with a mild solar pulse. Golden motes flared around her ankles, tinkling like bells.

This was the dancing form of Morina, an ancient art form that predates conflict, when motion was still the law.

SHE YELLED!

Supreme Sun Surge – Monoyaki Dance 3rd Form – Wind Fire

Her aura glows a green beam of surrounding light, bursting around like rapid fire as it flows like liquid.

She spins violently, moving like a rubber toy, launching forward like a speeding bullet train with a punch that snapped, ringing like heavy bells. BAMM! The Wendigo went flying through the forest. Morina followed suit, hitting three consecutive blows.

CRACK! CRACK!

BOOOOWHUSH!

The forest rattles at the will of Wendigo's hand, heavy ripping roots through the ground, trying to grab her, but the will of her body swiftly waddled through all the roots like slippery ice. As her attention grows, quick strikes become blasts that sends the wendigo down a spiral of movements, slamming into rubble and trees.

"If I allowed him to touch me at least one time with those roots, it would be trouble," said Morina as she murmured to herself, thinking of a way to calm the beast and bring back Huntsman Abadel.

The Wendigo gets up, dusting the crumbles of dust on his body, tilting Shff slightly! Shff! Shff! He smirked with a grand look on his face, a smile so sinister it could send shivers down the wrong spine.

Morina starts circling the wendigo swiftly for an opening, strategy changing as the wind chooses suit.

"The Galaxy itself is an intertwined fate born from the ashes of war itself. I was born from hatred of each star system that embodies the truth. I only ended up in this plane of existence mainly because fear existed. The Wendigo spoke softly, evoking a natural pause, drawing her in and making her think: Is this truly something that fear can only bring about for Morina, her bare instincts? Will it be enough to stop him?

"Nurge is natural, it's pure in blood, soul, and mind. I am an extradimensional entity that feeds on entropy, fear, and starvation. The Cosmic Horrors develop the darkness, I – OOOOH! I AM the Fear Bringer of the Night."

*Capacitors wind down with a low hum. *

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The area between Morina and the Wendigo, engulfed in darkness, sight beckoning becomes obsolete. For the area in which they stand became the devil's playground, the Heart of the Wendigo.

Tread! Tread! Tread! Morina walks slowly, heart in a pause as she scouts for her opponent.

"Behind You," His whisper static echoes within the darkness

Heavy Panting! Heavy Panting!

"OOOUAH! SUN CALAMITAS IS THAT FEAR I SMELL. You're frantic, are you losing control of yourself, Unable to feel the presence of your opponent," he said with amusement, twisting his voice like the bringer of discord himself.

"I…. Show yourself! Tricks like this are done only by lowly tricksters," Morina said in annoyance, trying to reassert herself in the situation, but fear only crept in as a silver bullet launched at high velocity.

"Tricksters, Oh, but I am one, for a trick leads to fear, and it feeds me well," said the Wendigo as he almost fused with the darkness enough for Morina to lose track of everything.

"Got you!" she believed so, exclaiming loudly, but the silence grew thicker, her mind began to numb, the line between or not the wendigo is within her presence sends her mad, and her fear grew for Morina, the scariest thing is being unsure and unprepared for any situation.

"Where are you? Answer me! Huntsman, I know you're in there, fight the wendigo, reclaim your body! Said Morina as she shouts to the top of her lungs.

"Nothing left but an empty shell," said the wendigo as he punched Morina Bang! She goes flying into the darkness, hitting a tree covered in the shadow of the world.

Morina observed in that moment the trick behind this Wendigo's ability; he is nullifying the light rays from entering within the nurge shield. Understanding this, she believes that to bring back the light, she needs to shatter the nurge field.

"Ok, basic nurge abilities at play here, calm yourself and think if I could make one small hole from the outside by bending light, I could fracture the nurge field by using surge resonance," murmured Morina as she thought to herself a proper way to deal with this situation.

Surge Resonance: the ability to use the environment to your advantage based on your set ability. Light surge users can bend light, Fire surge users can manipulate heat to create fire, and for Sun Surge users, they can use the radiance of the sun without it being in plain sight, bringing light within anything, purging the darkness.

"Her aura disappeared. Why would she drop her aura? That beam of light suddenly disappeared without a trace," said the wendigo as he began to worry.

Crack! Crack! He raised his hand, striking forward as roots twist and turn to hit Morina with her eyes closed, laser-focused on the plan. Dodging slightly, she flicks her fingers, forming a small sun-like golden beam, Supreme Sun Surge CronoSaintus, she whispered, throwing the beam in the direction of the wendigo.

BOOM! CRACK!

A crack appeared on the wendigo's skin, almost imperceptible, as the tides suddenly turned in Morina's favor. She propelled forward, twisting into a back kick and striking the wendigo in the face. Shifting her body to a stance, right hand grabs the wendigo by the face as she mutters Sun Surge Single point. A small light appears in the palm of her hands, expanding quickly into a burst – VVRRZZT—KATHOOM! BOOM! Flesh turns into ash, his face slit slightly as his form cracks further, losing hold of the world.

"Fear, I haven't experienced that since I was born. I was just IN AWE!!!!" Morina said with a sinister smirk, her voice swooping into static. Her mouth stretched unnaturally wide, lips pulled tight as if strained, revealing too many teeth. They're clenched and bared, suggesting a hungry readiness for battle rather than joy, with each tooth sharply defined, creating an impression of a bite-worthy grin. The corners of her mouth curl upward forcefully, deepening the creases on her face as if forcing her skin to obey.

For the first time, a creature born from fear encounters something supernatural: trembling legs that break like a twig, teeth chattering on teeth, and an overwhelming urge to run and hide. "Is this fear!" He almost fell to the ground as if all he murmured was blurred, nothing more than talk.

She leans forward, looking towards him with that unnerving demeanor as she whispers in his face.

"You're nothing more than deer running from his own ideology."

Supreme Reverse Sun Surge – Shinga Ego Saki - False Sun of the Screaming Sky - Absolute Noon!

Shinga Ego Saki is the ultimate realm of a supreme catastrophe—an authority that transcends the Seven Elements of existence: Sun, Time, Void, Elemental, Dreams, Destruction, and Creation.

It is called The Ultimate Providence Against Gods, a forbidden passage through which reality itself is rewritten. In this domain, creation is no longer neutral. The laws of existence bend, rewrite, and shift to favor the Defier—a plane designed not to test divinity but to surpass it. Gods do not govern here; they are corrected. Shinga Ego Saki doesn't destroy the world outright but redefines it—turning causality into obedience, fate into consent, and divinity into something that can be unmade.

He soon found himself in the world inside Shinga Ego Saki — False Sun of the Screaming Sky. Absolute Noon is not a natural place but one of judgment. Above, the sky is locked in an endless, bleeding noon—a blazing red firmament torn by vertical streaks of falling light, resembling rain of molten sunfire.

These are not mere droplets but fragments of radiance, screaming as they fall, each tearing through the air with a shrill, electric wail. The sky itself seems to wail, stretched too tightly, as if reality is being flayed from above.

At its center hangs the False Sun, smaller than a star but far more oppressive—a pale-gold, unblinking sphere hanging unnaturally low, close enough to feel its gravity pressing against the soul. It does not shine with warmth but with a harsh glare.

Its light offers no mercy, only exposure, stripping shadows of refuge and forcing everything into agonizing clarity. Time here does not advance—it burns.

In Absolute Noon, hiding is impossible, escape is futile, and prayers go unanswered. Here, even calamities are beneath her reach; gods would scream if they were pulled into this unforgiving light.

She said softly as the sun illuminated behind her, catching all shadows in sight.

"FIRE AND BRIMSTONE SING TO ME SOFTLY FOR THE TRANSGRESSOR IS AMONGST THEE."
