Not to mention the Six Paths level.
There was only one Ten-Tails.
Whether it became Six Paths Obito or Six Paths Madara, that still only counted as a single Six Paths-tier boss.
Then there was Kaguya Ōtsutsuki, who could provide a considerable amount of experience.
Add the hidden Ōtsutsuki Isshiki lurking somewhere in the ninja world, and that only made three.
Oh right.
There was also the Sage of Six Paths hiding in the Pure Land.
At most, there were only four Six Paths-level bosses available.
Arin seriously doubted that even after farming all of them, he would be able to max out all of his skills.
Because of that, he was starting to consider cultivating the ninja world a little.
At present, only he and Uchiha Madara had reached the Super Kage level.
And one of them was about to die.
Once Arin spread Nen throughout the world, everyone's strength should rise considerably.
Quite a few Super Kage-level fighters might appear.
As for Six Paths-level experts...
Even he couldn't predict that.
The group quickly reached the border near the Land of Bears.
Since Arin had spent years stationed here, he knew the place like the back of his hand.
He walked directly into the camp.
As before, the majority of the forces stationed here were Uchiha.
The moment he arrived, all the shinobi gathered before him.
"Greetings, Lord Arin!"
"Alright."
"Get back to work."
Arin casually waved his hand.
Without bothering to speak further, he headed straight for headquarters.
"Yes, sir!"
The newly arrived shinobi and the forces already stationed here disappeared instantly.
Now that the front line had been reactivated, they needed to reorganize the defenses.
The battlefield would be divided into three sectors to block Kirigakure's advance.
In reality, however, aside from the Land of Bears route, it was still relatively easy for Kirigakure shinobi to infiltrate the Land of Fire through other directions.
Konoha would have to leave many personnel behind to contain them.
There were also defensive lines near the smaller nations.
A significant number of forces had to remain on standby for reinforcement duties.
Arin entered the command center and stared at the large battlefield map.
A slight frown appeared on his face.
"Madara knows I'm here."
"So will he still commit troops to this front?"
At this point, Arin alone was practically a defensive line.
The privilege of having large-scale ninjutsu.
Several shinobi appeared inside the headquarters.
They had been stationed here all along, monitoring Kirigakure's movements.
"Lord Arin."
"Kirigakure has already deployed forces into the Land of Bears."
"In addition, several squads are attempting landings elsewhere along the coast of the Land of Fire."
"So they're planning to start a full-scale war."
Arin chuckled.
"Yes, sir."
One of the shinobi looked up and asked,
"Lord Arin, should we request reinforcements?"
"If Kirigakure launches a major offensive, our current numbers won't be enough."
Konoha was already stretched thin.
Many Uchiha had been transferred away as well.
The total force here numbered only a few hundred.
Still, there was one thing Hiruzen had gotten right.
Sending Arin here.
"No need for reinforcements."
Arin rolled his wrists before turning toward Fugaku.
"From this moment onward, you're in charge of everyone here."
"You only need to tell me where the enemy's main force is."
"Can you do that?"
Fugaku stared at him.
Last time, Arin had handed him complete command authority as well.
But that had been during peacetime.
This was an active war zone.
Feeling the immense trust Arin was placing in him, Fugaku slapped his chest confidently.
"I guarantee I won't fail!"
"Good."
"I'm going to take a nap."
Arin waved his hand.
The nonstop journey here had left him without proper sleep.
"..."
Fugaku couldn't shake the feeling that Arin was simply trying to avoid work.
Unfortunately, he had no evidence.
And honestly...
Being entrusted with such enormous authority moved him deeply.
In all of Konoha, who else trusted the Uchiha this much?
Arin was the only one.
Arin himself had no interest whatsoever in managing the battlefield.
If he handled command personally, he'd probably just make things worse.
Fugaku knew the situation far better than he did.
So Arin immediately found an empty tent with a bed and went to sleep.
Without the slightest hesitation.
For an entire month, Arin did absolutely nothing around camp.
Then finally, good news arrived.
"Kirigakure has launched their attack."
Fugaku stood inside headquarters with a grave expression.
"They're trying to break through the Land of Bears front."
"Our current forces can't hold them back."
"Pull everyone from one defensive sector."
"Give them to me."
Arin answered immediately.
"You take those forces and hold the other two sectors."
"Leave this one to me."
"Any problems?"
"My lord..."
Fugaku hesitated.
"You're going alone?"
"Just answer the question."
Fugaku thought for a moment before shaking his head.
"We still won't have enough manpower."
"Even after abandoning one sector, we can't properly defend the other two."
Arin considered briefly.
"How long can you hold out?"
"One month."
Fugaku answered after some calculation.
"That's enough."
Arin nodded.
"Withdraw everyone from the main front."
"You command the remaining sectors."
"This battlefield is mine."
"Can you really do it?"
Fugaku still couldn't believe it.
No one in the ninja world dared make such a claim.
Not even a Kage.
If Arin failed, the entire front would collapse.
"I'm the commander-in-chief here."
Arin stared at him.
"You don't have the authority to question whether I can."
He had no interest in explaining his strength.
Fugaku gritted his teeth.
"Understood."
No matter how much authority he had been given, Arin was still the official commander.
Even if he acted like a hands-off emperor, every order he issued had to be obeyed.
Only then did Arin pat Fugaku's shoulder with satisfaction.
"I'm heading to the battlefield."
"You handle the orders."
He walked out of the tent.
Flames erupted behind him.
A pair of fiery wings unfolded as he soared into the sky.
The main battlefield was a vast open plain.
Arin flew beyond the defensive line and landed directly in front of every Konoha shinobi stationed there.
Soon the withdrawal order arrived.
The shinobi looked at him with uncertainty.
Yet a ninja's duty was obedience.
No matter what they thought, they faithfully carried out their orders.
One after another, they withdrew.
Soon, Arin was the only person left.
He glanced at the surrounding grasslands and forests.
Then casually flicked a finger.
A line of fire ignited before him, stretching across the battlefield.
Cross-legged, he sat down on the ground.
Eyes closed.
Waiting quietly.
Kirigakure didn't make him wait long.
Before long, countless figures appeared in the distance.
A sea of shinobi.
Several thousand strong.
As they advanced, thick mist spread rapidly across the battlefield.
The trademark sign of a Kirigakure offensive.
Arin opened his eyes.
Veins bulged around his Byakugan.
Behind him, countless flaming arrows materialized.
Densely packed.
Covering the sky.
He spoke a single sentence.
The wind carried his voice across the battlefield, delivering it directly into every Mist shinobi's ears.
"This road is closed."
"Anyone I see..."
"...dies."
The Mist shinobi: "???"
Wait.
Wasn't it usually 'Those who cross shall die'?
Why was this guy killing everyone he could see?
The next moment—
Countless flaming arrows pierced through the mist and rained down upon the entire Kirigakure army.
