Chapter 94: You're Luring a Dog in to Kill It!

Utaha then remembered that last Saturday, which was the day before yesterday, Kaede and Eriri went on a date? And in the morning, he even called her?

However, on Sunday, Utaha was either sleeping in or immersed in writing, and when she arrived at school this morning, she pretty much just slumped over until almost noon.

Now, seeing Eriri, she finally remembered this extremely important matter.

What exactly was the situation between these two now?

The flame of gossip in Utaha's heart began to burn.

Eriri, sitting on the sofa, also noticed Utaha's gaze and immediately glared back, "What are you looking at?"

"Nothing, just a little curious. Hmm, curious."

Smiling, Utaha didn't take a seat on the sofa. Instead, she pulled up a chair and sat across from it.

After closing the door, Kaede came and sat back down next to Eriri, saying, "So, Senpai, let's discuss this matter. Honestly, it must be affecting you somewhat, right?"

"Of course, there's an impact."

Utaha nodded, then smiled and glanced at Eriri before saying, "As I told you in my message, someone actually asked me how to pursue my junior. How am I supposed to answer that?"

"Hmm?"

Eriri's tone immediately rose, and she turned to glare at Kaede.

Kaede simply spread his hands, "Eriri, don't look at me like that. I didn't expect it to turn out this way. If anyone's to blame, it's the high school students who are too idle these days. Senpai, you said... Hmm? Senpai?"

"No rush."

At this moment, Utaha waved her hand, looking curiously at Eriri and Kaede, "It's just some idle gossip from boring people. Actually, it's very simple to deal with. Let me ask you a question: what is your relationship now?"

Kaede had an "I knew it" expression, while Eriri's face turned red.

One calm, one blushing?

Utaha's smile widened, feeling that she would have even more material to observe and summarize.

Eriri was still completely red, unable to speak. Seeing this, Utaha directly asked, "On Saturday morning, Asakura-kun told me he was going on a date with a certain girl, but I don't know what happened afterward. Eriri, can you tell me what happened after that day?"

Eriri had never faced such a situation. Even when she went home that Saturday, she coincidentally didn't see her parents immediately and went straight to her room. Her mother came to find her much later, but by then, Eriri had already adjusted her emotions and didn't let Sawamura Sayuri notice anything.

And now, she could only tug at Kaede's sleeve.

Girl, your actions are so obvious, aren't you just telling her the answer?

Eriri was still too young. Kaede saw Utaha's expression and knew she had pretty much guessed it.

So Kaede simply stopped hiding it, lest Utaha be the first to tease him.

"Well, I confessed to Eriri that day, and we are now officially dating."

Upon hearing this, Eriri immediately said anxiously, "Ah! Why did you actually say it?"

"Why not? You don't really think our Senpai couldn't tell, do you?" Taking Eriri's hand, Kaede said with a smile, "Besides, our Senpai isn't the type to gossip. If she knows, she knows. Everyone will find out eventually."

Eriri heard this and glanced at Utaha. Sure enough, the woman was looking at their clasped hands with an understanding expression.

"Alright... alright, if you've said it, you've said it. Kaede-kun, you're right."

After comforting Eriri, Kaede asked, "Senpai, what's your solution?"

"As for a solution, isn't this the best one?"

Pointing at the two in front of her, Utaha said, "As long as everyone knows that you two are dating, won't the rumors just fall apart?"

It was indeed the same idea Kaede had initially.

However, Kaede felt that while this was the most effective, he also felt that other, stranger rumors might emerge.

Like him two-timing, which sounded troublesome.

Shaking his head, Kaede said, "Let's not do that for now. Eriri is still quite shy."

"Shy?"

Utaha looked at Eriri, and suddenly felt a surge of exasperation, saying directly, "Eriri, I can't believe you're so dense."

"Wh-What do you mean dense?"

Eriri looked at Kaede in confusion.

"What else could it be?" Utaha felt she had to drop some heavy hints, otherwise, her material collection would run into difficulties, wouldn't it?

"You and Asakura-kun are dating now, right? There's no need to hide this. Do you want to one day see someone suddenly come up and confess to Asakura-kun? Although for us onlookers, such sudden events are the most enjoyable to watch, very dramatic."

"!!!"

Three exclamation marks seemed to pop up on Eriri's forehead, and she immediately became alert.

It seemed to make sense. She had only been concerned about the embarrassment of being discovered by classmates, but had forgotten about this aspect of the problem.

This also made Eriri recall those love letters once again, as well as the two confessions Kaede had received in the two months since school started, one of which was from a second-year Senpai.

Seeing Eriri lost in thought, Kaede looked at Utaha speechlessly, thinking, how could so many people confess to him? He didn't want to deal with it in the first place, and now that he was already dating Eriri, he wanted to avoid such situations even more.

"Asakura-kun, don't look at me like that. This is just a normal thought for girls. Eriri didn't think of it, and I merely reminded her."

"How can you remind someone like that? Besides, I would also consider Eriri's feelings. Even if there were confessions or love letters, I would definitely reject them without a second thought."

Listening to Kaede's words, a smile appeared on Eriri's face. Feeling her hand being held by Kaede, she happily said, "She's not wrong, and... as for dating, since we've agreed, it's not something we need to hide. If people know, they know."

After speaking, Eriri blushed and leaned closer to Kaede.

At the same time, she thought to herself that she should find an opportunity to properly talk to Kaede about the love letters, within the next few days.

Sitting on the chair, watching the two of them gaze at each other and the oblivious aura they exuded, Utaha unconsciously touched her stomach.

"You two are luring dogs in to kill them."

Collecting creative material indeed comes with risks.
