Its been a week since i first properly talked to her.
Every single night same thing. We chat till i cant keep eyes open, then morning comes and poof She's gone. Like she was never even there.
Today at breakfast dad suddenly goes
"Son, me your mom and the kids are going to that hill station nearby. Two days."
I just said "ok" while eating toast.
Both of them looked at me. They were shocked
"You're fine with it?" dad asked super slow.
"Yeah. I already told you i don't wanna go anyway."
Mom and dad just stared at each other for a second.
"Ok… thats fine then" dad finally said, still kinda shocked.
Afternoon 3:30 pm
Mom hugged me at the door.
"Ok sweetie we're leaving. Take care, eat proper food, and don't forget homework ok?"
Dad added "and don't make a mess. We'll know."
"Ok bye have fun"
Car left. House went dead quiet.
First thing i did was finish homework fast (hate it but whatever). Then watched some anime on the couch. Felt good being alone for once.
Around 7:50 pm i was done with High School DxD's last episode. Feeling pretty happy.
Went upstairs to my room.
Ok time.
Jumped on bed, opened laptop, typed the site i been thinking about whole day. www***********.com
Started pulling pants down.
Then—
"What are you doing?"
Voice from behind.
"AH SHIT"
Slammed laptop shut so fast, blanket over lap in 0.2 seconds.
Her head was sticking out from the middle of my bed like some horror game glitch. Big curious eyes staring at me.
"Nothing!!" i basically shouted.
"Oh… i heard some weird noises tho" she said tilting head.
"Its nothing. Seriously. Super boring."
"Ok."
Man she's so damn innocent thank god.
"Where's your family?"
"They went out. Two days."
Her eyes got bigger.
"Ohhh so we're alone alone?"
"Yeah…"
She floated up properly and sat in air next to me.
"So what you wanna tell me today?"
I slowly closed the laptop (and my dreams for tonight lol).
We just started talking.
Time flows. Like water.
Didn't even notice when it became 1:00 a.m.
I yawned.
"Gotta sleep soon."
She looked a little sad but nodded.
"Okay."
Then super quiet:
"You'll still be here tomorrow night… right?"
I looked at her. Messy hair, red eyes, that tiny scared look she gets sometimes.
"Yeah. Not going anywhere."
She smiled. Small one. Real one.
And just like that the big empty house didn't feel empty anymore.
