What about requesting assistance from the government with with captain atom's ability to control and manipulate nuclear energy, I'm sure he can cause lasting damage allowing us to possibly catch this new threat?! "says cyborg".
Too late "says batman", they've already deployed him, he's on his way to intercept the threat.

After he picked up that familiar energy from the previous battle he flew towards the sun to gather more energy, he's actively absorbing energy directly from the suns core, "said batman ".
Third pov: Superman felt that familiar energy return, reminded of how he was left near death and unconscious, he flew straight into the sun, super charging his kryptonian cells and breaking through past limitations...., this time not wanting to repeat the same mistakes as before.
The kryptonian saw captain atom flying to meet the threat.
Captain atom finally reached the threat who was just floating there menacingly..
Hey you said "captain atom aggressively ".
Zar looked at him like fool, remembering this guy from the comics he read in his previous life.
You are under arrest by the order of the United nations of earth, submit to authority for investigation and regulation that's an order. "Said captain atom".
NO! " Said Zar ".
Captain atom refused to take no for an answer so he attacked with his full strength and power.
Shoot a concentration of potent radiation towards the Zar, hitting him point blank.
The attack that could temporarily hurt comic book superman just pushed his saiyan hair to the side as it washes over his body....
Zar's base experiencing non solar based radiation climbs again by a fraction.

Zar then proceeds to punch the captain so hard he's protection suit that contains his nuclear form is destroyed, completely killing the arrogant soldier... Zar not in the mood for politics anyways..
Then proceeds to fly towards earth until he's intercepted by the boy scout himself...
Without words or conversation superman attacks in rage after seeing the death of Captain atom.
Superman now glowing with a golden hue send Zar flying back in surprise with a straight cross fist to the chest .
Zar felt muscles tearing and reforming mid-combat, not as intense as the gods but still effective .
When Zar caught his momentum and z vanished and appeared in front of superman with a smile on his face, he did not feel like Superman was serious threat after experiencing the battle with those gods, so he decided to teach superman a lesson he won't forget .
"Your mercy breeds enemies," Zar said. "your restraint will bring extinction to your planet, not all enemies will change their ways because you gave a beating, they'll just keep coming back worse than before ."
Zar then powered up to full base power then shoved his arm thru superman's chest, a reminder he won't forget.
Batman watched from the shadows.
Zar'Khael met his gaze.
"You should have found a way to kill me if you weren't so hypocritical ," Zar'Khael said.
Batman said nothing but just pressed a button, activation for a phantom zone projector .
Zar didn't dodge wanting to see what the bat had in mind.
